00:06:36Beginning our program in the ring with two lovely ladies
00:06:39as we welcome you here to WCW Monday Nitro,
00:06:42his title. That'll be later on tonight. But Ric Flair apparently is ready for
00:06:47Roddy Piper coming up at Bash at the beach. Well, it sure seems that way.
00:06:50Flair off the top of the program, merely previewing what we're gonna see in
00:06:54Daytona Beach live at Bash at the beach. A big meeting between those two icons
00:06:59of professional wrestling. Let's go to the ring in the opening bout here this
00:07:03week on WCW Monday Nitro Larry's a bit ago. Your thoughts on what we've just
00:07:07seen. He respects. I know Rowdy Roddy Piper is an athlete. And what a match
00:07:12this is going to be when you're talking about 13 time world heavyweight
00:07:16champion against the man who proved himself over and over to be the icon in
00:07:20Roddy Piper. Well, no doubt it's gonna go down in wrestling history. This is
00:07:23a dream match, Tony, between two of the greatest of the greats. Ric Flair
00:07:29already playing that human game of chess, trying to get underneath the
00:07:33skin of Roddy Piper. Personally, I hate to see it. I think these two guys
00:07:38could have been leaders against the new world order, and now they're at each
00:07:42other's throats. You look at this capacity crowd on hand. We have at the
00:07:47MGM Grand right along the strip here in Las Vegas, and here he is. He won the
00:07:52Cruiserweight Championship. WCW brought back a belt now away from the N. W. O.
00:07:58Back. He wanted this match weekend, Mike, today. Well, it was a historic
00:08:02evening for world championship wrestling at the Great Western Forum in Los
00:08:05Angeles. Those of you that heard it on the Internet, and there were hundreds
00:08:10of thousands of
00:08:12to WCW wrestling dot com. We understand the technicians and audio network
00:08:16overtime. The entire network flooded with requests. Repeat broadcast are
00:08:21available on demand at WCW wrestling dot com. But if you didn't have an
00:08:25opportunity to hear that Internet broadcast, the huge news is that the
00:08:29Lionheart Chris Jericho defeated six at the forum in L. A. On Saturday night.
00:08:34And yes, world championship wrestling has regained possession of a world
00:08:38title. You know, that's one belt again. What a bad coincidence for Piper and
00:08:42Flair to have this trouble because the New World Order took a blow Saturday
00:08:47and again, two leaders that could have let WCW against the New World Order are
00:08:52now at each other. I don't like to see that Ruben to Guerrero and Chris
00:08:56Jericho in the opening bout. This is for the Cruiserweight Championship, one of
00:09:00three title matches in this two hour program. Also, a big six man tag
00:09:04featuring members of the NWO tonight against Ric Flair, Steve Mongo, McMichael
00:09:09and Chris Benoit of the Four Horsemen. Later on in this first hour here
00:09:14tonight, all the stars are here. And Larry, like you said, right at the top
00:09:19of the telecast, we await the unveiling, if you will, of the impact player, the
00:09:24newest star to make his debut here tonight. Will it be with WCW or the NWO?
00:09:29Well, that's the big question. I mean, I've walked through this hotel thousands
00:09:33and thousands of people been grabbing me, asking me questions, and I don't know
00:09:37anything. I don't know if it's a New World Order. I don't know if it's a
00:09:39member of WCW. I don't know who it is. And I've been here all afternoon
00:09:44looking around. No one seems to have any answers. Jericho now tying up
00:09:49Juventud here. It seems here, Mike, that Jericho wants to keep it a ground
00:09:54attack against this high flyer. Well, I think that would be very smart. Jericho
00:09:58many years under his belt internationally wrestling in Mexico and
00:10:01Japan. Juventud Guerrera, the 21-year-old youth warrior, as his name
00:10:06translates, and the championship committee has obviously been impressed
00:10:10with the recent win streak for Juventud Guerrera to give him this first
00:10:13crack at the Cruiserweight Championship belt now held by Jericho.
00:10:18Juventud up top, hits the ropes, and now goes to the other side with some
00:10:22more momentum and a headshaker takedown. Nicely done by Juventud. Juventud the
00:10:27type of athlete that can win a title match on any given night. Well, they
00:10:30take such high risk maneuvers. Yeah, I mean, the odds are against him right
00:10:34there, went for something, almost slipped. But Jericho, like we said
00:10:37earlier, get up on the mat, and that's one way to do it. Well, nice recovery by
00:10:41Juventud after slipping on what looked like a springboard attempt, and then
00:10:44he's on the receiving end of a backdrop suplex from Jericho. One thing we have
00:10:47seen from Jericho, guys, is Jericho loves to take his time. And Larry, you
00:10:51don't like this. You like him to be aggressive, not to look at the fans to
00:10:54go right at the attack, but Jericho likes to do that. Take your time after
00:10:58the victory as you strut down the hallway looking good past the ladies in
00:11:02the ring. Do everything you can to win. Period. A cover by Jericho. The
00:11:07champion's got a two count, and that is all. What a great time to be a fan of
00:11:11WCW. We're now rapidly approaching Bash at the Beach, Daytona Beach, Florida
00:11:17and the world talking about Dennis Rodman and Hollywood Hulk Hogan against
00:11:21Lex Luger and the Giant. Never before in the history of our sport like today. So
00:11:26much attention given worldwide on one non title tag team match. Everywhere you
00:11:32turn, all the mainstream media has been documenting Dennis Rodman's
00:11:36association with the N. W. O. And it all comes to a head on July 13th in
00:11:41Daytona Beach. Larry, I'm interested in your standpoint. Dennis Rodman in the
00:11:46ring for one night anyway. As a professional wrestler, how is he going
00:11:50to be able to adapt, especially against team as formidable as Lex Luger and the
00:11:54Giant? Well, that's it. He's not going to be able to adapt a couple weeks ago
00:11:58in the Giant. Grab Rodman by the neck and picked him up. I saw the fear and
00:12:03panic in Rodman's face. He can't function under pressure. That's why the
00:12:09man of 1000 fouls is gonna look more like a man of 1000 fools. Baseball
00:12:16slide. Drop kick now. Jericho. That was on target, and now Jericho is, like,
00:12:23backing away from Hoover to Guerrera as Nick Patrick calls him away. Look how
00:12:27slow Jericho strutting on over. I mean, get on him. Give me in the gut. Knock
00:12:31his wind out. You guys have to realize that Jericho has to be really on cloud
00:12:35nine. So to speak, I don't have to realize anything. I've been in there.
00:12:37You're being cloud nine after they ring the bell. A very methodical attack by
00:12:42Jericho. We thought off the opening of this matchup that it possibly was to
00:12:46control the pace and slow down Hoover to Guerrera. But now Jericho is in
00:12:50control, pushing on the chin, as you can see, and the torso now form of a
00:12:55backbreaker here and pushing Guerrero down all these maneuvers. Look right
00:12:59here. He's standing here. He should have had him clamped one second after he
00:13:03broke the last hole. Each and every one of these maneuvers attempting to ground
00:13:07the high flyer here. He's back up on top. Jericho hit the top turnbuckle very
00:13:11hard, and Jericho that time walks into one, and I believe that was almost a
00:13:16glancing blow by Hoover to the result of not being aggressive enough. High
00:13:22risk that didn't work. High risk maneuvers are not working at all.
00:13:25Tonight came up way short on that springboard attempt. Looked like he was
00:13:29trying to somersault into a drop kick but did not connect. Sending Guerrero
00:13:34now to the other turnbuckle. Here comes the champ that time. I think the
00:13:38forehead hit the top ring post Jericho. He's playing the game. That's not gonna
00:13:43work well for him. Oh, here we go. Oh, my goodness. What a suicide dive. It's
00:13:50through the ropes that was up over top of the ropes. Did you see the elevation
00:13:54of Hoover to Guerrero? And as we pointed out earlier, the first high risk
00:13:57attempt by Chris Jericho turns out that it backfires. And now Hoover to
00:14:01Guerrero is in control, rolling the man underneath the bottom rope. Now,
00:14:07Hoover to tries to follow up and possibly take the title away. He is up
00:14:13on top. Come on. 360 somersault covers. No, he did not get it, but it was
00:14:20close. It's not enough weight. Jericho squirmed out of that one, but he's not
00:14:25getting up quick and the smaller man is beating him up. Not a good sign. First
00:14:30ever World's Championship belt to be held by Chris Jericho and WCW. And we
00:14:35can see that he's fighting for his life to do anything he can to retain that
00:14:39title. Waist lock and a German suplex release. Hoover to. Oh, my. Stopped in his
00:14:45tracks with one and a second powerbomb. And the fans are wrapped on the second
00:14:50powerbomb by Jericho. The Cruiserweight champion with so much intensity with
00:14:55the cover. Did not get it. How about that? It was a lackadaisical cover. Jericho
00:15:01making some amateur mistakes here. Nailed Hoover to wasted four seconds. I
00:15:06timed it and then didn't cradle him up. Took for granted. He was knocked out or
00:15:10something to the top. Now, Jericho this. I don't really think he wants to be up
00:15:15there with Hoover, too, but maybe he's gonna try a superplex here. Too late.
00:15:19Now, Hoover toot is up with it. This is so dangerous for both men. Super
00:15:24Frankenstein. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness. And now out of the Super
00:15:30Frankensteiner into the Boston Crab.
00:15:38Yes, sir. He debuted this new move a week ago and wins it here on Nitro
00:15:43Larry. I want to see that one again.
00:15:51We've seen a lot of wrestlers deliver Frankensteiner's, but very few off the
00:15:55top rope with the Super Frankensteiner by Lionheart. Look at right here. Jericho
00:16:00almost lost it. Hoovey came over, knocked him out. It looks like he got
00:16:04the wind knocked out of him there. But Jericho came back and he flipped Hoover
00:16:08to Guerrero across that ring, brother. This is it. Watch when he sits down
00:16:13right there. That's the pressure. Your winner, the Cruiserweight champion
00:16:17Chris Jericho, who's now with Gene Oakerlin. You know, Tony, first of all,
00:16:21on behalf of everybody at World Champion to wrestling Saturday night in Los
00:16:26Angeles, California, Chris Jericho. Finally, we got a title away from the
00:16:30N.W.O. Congratulations. You are the new Cruiserweight champion in defeating
00:16:36six big victory and a big opportunity for you as you continue on your way
00:16:41here in WCW. Mean Gene, this is not an N.W.O. belt. This is a WCW belt and
00:16:50it's back where it belongs in WCW. You know, it could be that Jericho has got
00:16:58the N.W.O. walls tumbling down. And what is this? But wait a minute. This guy's
00:17:02not. Here comes six. He has no business being in this arena. If you want to go
00:17:10through the official channels talking to men like Dylan and other matchmakers,
00:17:15that's fine. This is totally on call for gentlemen. Save it for a later date,
00:17:23please. I had no idea this was happening, Chris. Gene, he is just
00:17:30angry. Six. This is the interview time of the new W.C.W. Cruiserweight
00:17:37champion. Feels pretty good to beat the N.W.O. My friend, you beat nothing on
00:17:50Saturday until you went back to your hotel room that night, pal. You can't say
00:17:57that on television. What did I say? It's not even worth repeating. As far as the
00:18:05N.W.O. is concerned, Six is still the world cruiserweight champion. That may be
00:18:13what the N.W.O. thinks. That is not fact. And since you got such a evil look in
00:18:21your eyes, I guess I'll look eye to eye with you, Jericho. I'm still the champ.
00:18:27You came out, interrupted me. So I'm coming out here right now to tell you
00:18:35this. I'll give you another shot at the belt. I know you think you're the champ,
00:18:41but I'm the champ. I'll give you the shot right now. Oh my. Oh my. He asked for it.
00:18:47You're not kidding. He asked for it. And Jericho's on him in advance. We've got to

00:18:57All right. You can see for yourself that it's taken every security man, WCW's
00:19:02full-time security staff, referees, to pull these two apart. Mean Gene is down
00:19:09there. Gene, go ahead. All right, Tony. I was hoping to get a word with the
00:19:12current WCW cruiserweight champ, Chris Jericho. He was very rudely interrupted
00:19:18by Six. And now, all of a sudden, Alex Wright, you pop in. What's on your mind?
00:19:24Gene, you want the interview? You finish the interview with me. It's about time
00:19:28somebody does an interview with me. Ever since I came to WCW, three and a half
00:19:33years ago, WCW held me down. They never held you down. They held me down. Nobody
00:19:39gave me a title shot. Nobody give me interview time. I think he just told him
00:19:47in German to shut up. And the referee made decisions against me. And you know
00:19:51why? You know why? I'm gonna tell you why. Because I'm from Germany. I'm from
00:19:58Germany. I'm a fantastic wrestler. I got the looks, and I got a great body. Lex
00:20:07Luger has nothing on me. Please, let's take it this way too far. Alex Wright
00:20:11more at a later date. This is Nitro. We're live in Las Vegas. Tony, back to
00:20:15you. Wow. I mean, look, look behind Gene Tempers. Flaring Alex, right? Is upset.
00:20:22And Chris Jericho finally being escorted out. I don't know why Alex writes
00:20:26upset about interview time. He can't talk anyway. Very. That's not true. We
00:20:31heard from him, right? There was a bad Tabisco sign out there. Get that kid
00:20:35out of here. There's more than one. All right, we go back to action. This should
00:20:42be a great matchup here on WCW Monday. Nitro fans still to come. Oh, I said it
00:20:49should be a great match. But now Eddie Guerrero stomping on the back of the
00:20:54head of D Malenko. And they're gonna start this man right here. I guess Malenko
00:21:02can't stop. Look, he knocked out Cole from behind. Eddie Guerrero jumpstarting
00:21:10this. And, you know, Mike, today we've seen a very unusual man in Eddie Guerrero
00:21:15over the past couple of weeks. Tony, a lot of people think that they know Eddie
00:21:19Guerrero. But let me educate the world. I've known Eddie for many years. I can
00:21:24tell you that he formed with the late Art Barr, the most despised, the most
00:21:29hated tag team in the history of Lucha Libre, Mexican wrestling, the gringos
00:21:33locos. And in the case of Eddie Guerrero, what you've seen for the past year is
00:21:38not what you get. Yeah, but let me ask you this. Why would a man like Eddie
00:21:42Guerrero, who we know and we've respected for so long, we know can wrestle. Why in
00:21:47the world would he resort to tactics that we've just seen getting a man from
00:21:51behind? I guess it has to do with what you're talking about. Certainly does.
00:21:55Remember, Malenko and Guerrero, this is a long term rivalry, but it was founded
00:22:00on mutual respect that has evolved into personal animosity at this point between
00:22:04the two. Yeah, well, I think he's a typical Guerrero. No emotional control
00:22:08whatsoever. Again, like Alex Wright, frustrated. They all come into WCW, want
00:22:13to be superstars, want the multi-million dollar contracts. Then when they find
00:22:19out it's not easy, they all get frustrated and they look for shortcuts.
00:22:23And that's what Eddie's doing too, being a Guerrero. Well, he shortchanged, I
00:22:27think, his own nephew last week in Chavo Jr. I mean, he gave Chavo the match
00:22:33against Sixx and then stood by watching when Chavo Jr. was double teamed by the
00:22:38NWO. What have I been telling you for years? Money is thicker than blood. And
00:22:43he even talked about blood. He talked about Sangre and the Family Association
00:22:48and promised that he would watch Chavo Jr.'s back. He let him down. He's letting
00:22:52a lot of people down right at this point. Oh, Malenko got him down. Come on,
00:22:56D's got to get going. Eddie, of course, just coming back from an injury. And we
00:23:01know the story of how Eddie Guerrero caused D Malenko back at Super Brawl to
00:23:07lose the Cruiserweight Championship to Sixx. That touched off a fierce rivalry
00:23:11that's taken this turn that seems incredible at this time. And D Malenko.
00:23:16Guerrero, an attempt at a rolling DDT out of the corner. And Malenko just
00:23:21threw him away. Yeah, but could Malenko, you know, keep his composure here. He
00:23:25can't lose his head. Be a great man wrestler. Get Eddie on the mat and
00:23:28wrestle him. I'll punch him and I'll fly him. It was Eddie Guerrero's
00:23:33interference that cost this man D Malenko the United States Championship.
00:23:38A frog splash off the top rope behind the referee's back. And that allowed
00:23:41Jeff Jarrett to capture the title. So twice Eddie has been instrumental in D
00:23:45Malenko losing. That's why Malenko, when we saw him earlier today here at the
00:23:50MGM Grand in Las Vegas, so fired up, so determined to have one of the biggest
00:23:56matches ever on Nitro for D Malenko. It's payback time. And Malenko back to
00:24:01work one more time, sending Guerrero down, who begs off. Malenko will have

00:36:05We are just getting matches as we see Hector Garza make his way to the ring.
00:36:10Mike, today, one of the most spectacular moves we've seen from this man.
00:36:14Well, we talked about the daredevil high risk moves. And as we saw just a couple
00:36:18of weeks back on Monday Nitro, that corkscrew by Garza. And this was last
00:36:22week as he caught DeAnno for the corkscrew plancha.
00:36:26And now Hector Garza gets his chance to become the television champion as Steve
00:36:31Regal will make his way here. Larry, a man, you know, quite well. Yeah, well,
00:36:34Hector's gonna have a tough time here because Regal is the complete opposite of
00:36:39the luchadors. Regal is strictly a mad wrestler, a mad technician. He's not
00:36:46going to be flying the ropes, doing corkscrews. Hector is gonna have to know
00:36:51his wrestling to get the belt off Regal. What a huge opportunity this is, though,
00:36:55for the young man Garza, second generation wrestler from Monterrey,
00:36:59Mexico, just over a month in world championship wrestling. And he's
00:37:02challenging for the world's TV title, a title that not only carries the prestige
00:37:07with it of a world's championship belt, but also that all important national TV
00:37:11exposure. Very thrilled to be coming to you from Las Vegas, the entertainment
00:37:15capital of the world, the city that never sleeps. Of course, we are at the end of
00:37:19a great run out west here for WCW and Fresno and, of course, in Los Angeles.
00:37:24You know, we had fans from all over L.A., from L.A. County, from Orange County,
00:37:30from the Southland. We had fans come all the way up from Anaheim to the Great
00:37:34Western Forum on Saturday night to see us. Our great fans down in Anaheim, John
00:37:38Conner and Barbara Conner, say that they watch WCW wrestling each and every
00:37:42Monday night. It's the only wrestling program they watch. And our thanks to our
00:37:46great fans in Southern California right now, though, the fans here in Las Vegas
00:37:52enjoying this matchup. Hector could win this title right here tonight, Mike,
00:37:55today. Well, Larry made a great point. Is Hector Garza going to be able to adapt
00:38:00to the style of the champion, Steven Regal? That's the main question that
00:38:04we're going to find out tonight. If Garza with that high risk, daredevil,
00:38:07Lucha Libre style, if he's able to defeat the experienced Matt Ressler and
00:38:12the match technician of the Steven Regal. Regal hit the middle turnbuckle,
00:38:16but try to maybe get him over to a Boston Crab here. And Garza using his
00:38:20leg strength. Well, he twisted out of that one, but look at Regal hanging
00:38:25back. He's not going to rush into this guy. And again, Garza is not going to
00:38:29get Regal to play the high risk game. Regal just does not do that.
00:38:35European uppercut to the left side of the head now, or left hand to the side
00:38:40of the head. And Garza hits hard. You got to stay out of the corner with
00:38:43Regal in there. And here comes the chance into the man in. Missed the back
00:38:47elbow. Great forearm shot that time by Garza. Surprised Regal, I think, with the
00:38:53duck under and then circled around behind him before he sprung off the
00:38:56ropes. Regal to the attack once again. Mickey J, the referee here. Boy, that
00:39:02time, great quickness by Garza. He is up. Somersault and he landed on his
00:39:08feet with a dropkick. He rolls through, but as soon as his movement gets ahead
00:39:12of Regal, Regal goes out.
00:39:16Glancing blow with that baseball slide.
00:39:21Regal trying to sneak up behind, but realizing Garza well aware of where his
00:39:25opponent is.
00:39:29Over the top. Missed that time. Stays one step ahead of Regal so far. Well,
00:39:34fans, we do understand it's now been confirmed that Hogan, Savage and Scott
00:39:39Hall will face Lex Luger, the Giant, and Diamond Gallus Page later here
00:39:44tonight, live on WCW Monday Nitro. This could be it. Regal is dazed on the
00:39:49floor. Garza mounts the top rope.
00:39:53Garza up top. There he is. The corkscrew up the top. And that time, I really
00:39:58don't think he connected like he wanted to. He hit very hard as well. I think
00:40:02he hit Regal low, but he also hit himself. Regal's not moving. Garza's
00:40:07barely moving. Again, moves like that. I don't think there is a winner.
00:40:12Regal in the chest. I think Regal may have dazed himself when his head hit the
00:40:16back of the concrete.
00:40:19He's getting up real slow.
00:40:22And Garza seeing this waiting, perched on top of the top.
00:40:28How about the missile dropkick?
00:40:30That was right in the head.
00:40:33Oh, my goodness. He wasted too much time. That moonsault, that Asahi Moonsault.
00:40:40He telegraphed that Cape Rodimu. Regal was ready and had the knees up to catch
00:40:44him coming off the ropes. Too many high risks against Regal. It's a mistake.
00:40:47He's got him hooked. The Regal stretch.
00:40:52Combination crossface and death block. And he taps out that universal signal,
00:40:58that symbol for submission. And Regal retains the belt.
00:41:03Again, I don't care how many high risks you take, it's hard to compete with a
00:41:08mat wrestler in that ring. And Regal proved my point, unfortunately.
00:41:13Well, Hollywood Hulk Hogan out here earlier talking about Rod the Bod. There
00:41:17is only one Dennis Rodman. He and Hogan together. The main event at Bash at the
00:41:22Beach.
00:41:26Kirk Kikorian, my very dear, close person, longtime friend, had me spend a
00:41:31long time with some of the sports books here. And they got a lot to say about my
00:41:35guests at this time. They are the number one contenders for the WCW Tag Team
00:41:40title belts. They're Rick and Scott, the Steiner brothers. Now, Scott, last week
00:41:44on this television program, you promised the folks you would be here. And I know
00:41:49what for. Hall and Nash. That's right, Mean Gene. Five months ago, Eric Bischoff
00:41:55stripped me and my brother of the World Tag Team titles. And we had to wrestle
00:42:00every tag team there is to be the number one contenders once again. Well,
00:42:05we've done that. And Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, the way we see it, you owe us a
00:42:11title shot. And you know, I should point out for the record, Rick, that Eric
00:42:15Bischoff has no stroke any longer. So he's not going to be able to pull any of
00:42:19his shenanigans. Well, Gene, we ain't leaving until they come out here and
00:42:24accept that challenge.

00:46:33terrific matchup. But it was La Parca crashing a plastic chair, shattering it
00:46:38over the head of Super Kelo. He spent several hours at UIC Hospital in Chicago
00:46:42suffering a concussion, and it's great to see him back in action tonight against
00:46:46Psychosis with Sonny Odo. Super Kelo has had numerous injuries since wrestling
00:46:51here on a basically a full-time basis in the United States. Had a dislocated
00:46:57elbow not too long ago, battled back from that, and now battling back from what
00:47:01happened in Chicago to face Psychosis here. What do you think about Psychosis
00:47:06and his career since teaming with Sonny Odo, Mike? Well, Tony, I think you have
00:47:10to say that it's been a positive move for Psychosis since acquiring the
00:47:13services of Sonny Odo, or actually maybe even the reverse with Sonny Odo putting
00:47:17up the money to use Psychosis as his hired henchman against the Ultimate
00:47:22Dragon. We've seen that Psychosis not only has his one loss record improved,
00:47:26but he's gained some higher profile matchups since aligning himself with
00:47:29Sonny Odo. Sonny Odo also been stabbed in the back by Chono. They had defected
00:47:34to the New World Order, so Sonny Odo, he's got to be careful who he picks and
00:47:38chooses here. Kelo, great maneuver, forward roll that time, ducking under
00:47:45and just got a back elbow, just got close enough to his opponent that time, and
00:47:49that time, how about that, an arm drag out of an attempt of a lariat, and a
00:47:53baseball slide missed as Psychosis shows his quickness, and that's a critical
00:47:58mistake, and that's exactly what Odo wants. Sonny Odo's distraction has also
00:48:04been a major part, see that vicious spin kick. That was a nice combination there.
00:48:09Also been a major part of the success recently of Psychosis, Sonny Odo's
00:48:13frequent interference at ringside. Whip to the corner down. You know, earlier in
00:48:21this program, Hollywood Hogan said, gonna have his friends having some fun
00:48:25tonight at the expense of Giant, Luger, and DDP. Well, that's gonna still be
00:48:32coming up in our second hour, fans. The match made, we are not so sure at this
00:48:37time who's gonna be involved in this one, but it's gonna be coming up later
00:48:41on in our main eventing hour number two, so stay with us. And Psychosis runs
00:48:46right through Super Kelo. To the attack again, hitting the right side ropes,
00:48:54ducking the lariat up. Nice move by Kelo. Oh, but then on the receiving end of
00:49:00that high kick from Psychosis, and again, you must keep your eye on Sonny Odo at
00:49:04all times. Psychosis with the baseball slide. That's the problem Kelo has,
00:49:09keeping his eye on Sonny Odo and Psychosis, because Psychosis, he could be
00:49:13about 50 feet in midair, and there he goes. He's going. Double axe handle off
00:49:21the top rope, and all he ended up with was steel guardrail. Amazing that
00:49:25Psychosis after that maneuver, guys, can even stand. And Kelo, he may not know
00:49:31he's standing. Great strategy to go back with Sonny Odo. We saw it. One, two,
00:49:36three, and he helps Psychosis steal a win from Super Kelo. I don't know if
00:49:43Kelo knows. I mean, if Psychosis knows where he is. And Kelo is arguing that
00:49:50he's going to take matters into his own hands. And who can blame him? Well, we
00:49:56talked about La Parca and the chair that put Super Kelo in the hospital. He has
00:50:01another chair in his hand, and he is behind Kelo. Sonny Odo's got the referee.
00:50:06Oh, no! I'd face tear that chair. Well, you're not kidding now. Again, La Parca
00:50:13very vicious. Just coming back after a concussion. And Juventud Guerrero has
00:50:18come out. Whose side is he going to be on here? I don't know. He hits. It's
00:50:26gonna, I guess, attempt to attack La Parca here. How about that? Psychosis

00:52:30And apparently Rick and Scott, the Steiner Brothers, the uncrowned tag champs, have to go through them first and risk injury, of course, at the hands of Masahiro Chono and the Great Muda before facing the Outsiders.
00:52:41Don't make all these kind of excuses, Janai. It's very simple. They had read the paper they signed.
00:52:48They were taking advantage of it.
00:52:51They weren't taking advantage of it. They're stupid. You know the Steiners are stupid and I know they're stupid. They don't know they're stupid. That's the trouble.
00:52:59Well, we talked about the NWO possibly being involved in a six-man tag later in this broadcast.
00:53:05Here we see the NWO international trio, Buck Bagwell, Masahiro Chono, Scott Norton.
00:53:11All three men represent the NWO over in Japan and all have been very successful as of late, both in three-man and two-man tag teams.
00:53:20We do understand the Steiners will face Muda and Chono and they will have to get through them before they get a chance at the World Tag Team Championship.

00:54:17And you've got a man like Mongo as his partner, who's really, really probably progressed faster than any wrestler I've ever seen in my whole career.
00:54:24And then you've got Van Waal. This is one tough team.
00:54:27This is where Buck Bagwell does not want to be.
00:54:29But Bagwell, how about this? Rebounding, sending Flair around to the side of the head in a big body drop.
00:54:38Bagwell with a great drop kick.
00:54:41You follow up with that and a running lariat and Buck Bagwell exploding with some offense on Ric Flair.
00:54:46You know what I like about Bagwell? You know, a year ago, if he'd have been in the ring with a man like Ric Flair, he'd have been in awe to be in there with the 13-time former heavyweight champion of the world.
