00:00Windstar Farm has added two new stallions to their roster for 2024 and multiple grade
00:06one winner Country Grammar and the speedy sophomore Two Fills.
00:10Here Elliot Walden tells us more.
00:13Two Fills is a horse that has shown a lot of class in his race record.
00:20You know, and I think he's great value at 12.5.
00:23When you look at however somebody evaluates talent, whether it's Ragus in numbers, whether
00:29it's buyer numbers, he stands out with the top three-year-olds of the class.
00:35He won a graded stake in the slop as a two-year-old.
00:38You know, he's just a racehorse.
00:40I was at Turfway when he won the Jeff Ruby, and to see him gallop out around the turn
00:45and be 25 in front, but then he comes back and runs the kind of race he did in the Kentucky
00:50Derby where he was up close to a very fast pace, just gets beat a length.
00:56Everybody else that was up towards the front of that race backed up badly.
01:00Looked like the winner at the eighth pole.
01:01And then when you look at the gallop out, he actually comes back and he gallops out
01:05in front.
01:06We've been looking for a Danzig-lined horse for a long time.
01:10Hardspun is a very underrated stallion, and the thing that Two Fills brings is that he's
01:15a very good looking Hardspun.
01:17Well balanced, has a great head and outlook on things, good top line.
01:24Two Fills is a horse that people are responding to.
01:27They know how good a racehorse he was, and so for 12.5, when the other three-year-olds
01:35in the crop are going to be standing for three times that, he provides great value.
01:40So we have Country Grammar here new for 2024, and super excited about him.
01:47He's the third leading North American earner of all time, and that's great company.
01:53Arrogant, gun runner, he's a little head of curling.
01:57What people don't know about Country Grammar was he also went through a two-year-old sale
02:02and sold to Mr. Pompa for $450,000.
02:07Also wanted to, so he ran at a high level East Coast, West Coast, Middle East for a
02:14long time.
02:15And you know, this day and age when soundness is important, race record's important, I think
02:23he's a high-quality horse, comes from a great Judd Mott family, family of Obligatory and
02:28Bonnie South, and has been giving good runners for a long time, and you know, he just showed
02:35up every single time.
02:37He's a very high-class horse.
02:38With a target on his back, Country Grammar getting the upper hand, draws alongside, and
02:39Country Grammar with his date with destiny, in front a length and a half, Country Grammar
02:40won the Dubai World Cup.
02:41Country Grammar is a big scopey horse that has a long sloping shoulder, the kind of horse
02:56that you would expect to run two turns, and I think he'll compliment mares because he'll
03:02help mares get the kind of physical that breeders would want at the sale.
03:07So we're real excited about Country Grammar for 2024.
