00:00Breeders' Cup champion Wonder Wheel is set to make her three-year-old debut in the Suncoast Stakes.
00:08We visited her at Cassie Training Center ahead of Saturday's race.
00:12Wonder Wheel's Breeders' Cup really impressed me.
00:15She overcame so much.
00:17We knew there was a lot of speed, so we thought we'd be sitting maybe four or five lengths off the lead.
00:25When they went by me the first time, she wasn't running.
00:28And I was like, I can't believe it, because she had trained so good going into the race.
00:34And then I watched Tyler a few times.
00:38He kind of, he didn't check her, but he had to kind of stop her momentum.
00:42And then when he got through on the rail, you know, it was a great ride by Tyler,
00:46but it takes a super horse to do what, you know, go through where she went through.
00:50So, it still gives me chills when I watch it.
00:53And Wonder Wheel and Tyler Gasly-Old gets his first Breeders' Cup win.
00:59We brought Wonder Wheel down to Cassie Training Center after the Breeders' Cup.
01:04That's when, where we brought her last year after we bought her.
01:07We brought her here, we broke her, and, you know, she started her early training.
01:11We gave her some time off and started her back, and she's training super.
01:17She's a big, tall filly. She's almost 17 hands tall.
01:21I think she's filled out a little bit. She's not a big, robust filly.
01:25She's just tall, leggy.
01:27She had as good a work last week as I've seen her ever work.
01:31And more importantly, her training has been really good coming up to this race.
01:37She is, she's a dream, really.
01:39And her only kryptonite is peppermints.
01:44She loves peppermints.
01:47We're running her Saturday in the Suncoast.
01:49It'll be her first start back since the Breeders' Cup.
01:52And I think, normally, if she breaks running, that Tyler will have her, you know, fairly close.
01:59But as she showed in the Breeders' Cup, she can do a little bit of anything.
02:03It's our hope we go to the Suncoast, the Ashland, and then the Oaks.
02:08That's our three-race series.
02:10The Greens are amazing.
02:12You know, we only, we started out, they owned half a horse called Proven Strategies
02:17with a good friend of mine here in Yagoda.
02:19And it's just grown and grown.
02:23And they've seen the potential.
02:25And we went out, we bought some young horses, and she was one of them.
02:29She may be one of the best horses I've ever trained.
02:33I don't want to get too far ahead.
02:35Let's see how, you know, she goes from two to three.
02:40So we're going to let her do the talking.
02:42But she is, she amazes me.
