00:15For today's video, we're shooting with a Xiaomi 13 Lite.
00:17And if you're new to the channel, there's a camera vlog test.
00:20It's one of those videos where I run around, go on an adventure, test the cameras
00:24so that you can see for yourself just how these cameras perform in real life scenarios.
00:28As you may notice, this video has a little bit of that tropical vibe
00:32because we're in the beautiful island paradise of Bali, Sinan, the Philippines.
00:35And today is a beach day so we're gonna be taking lots and lots of photos.
00:39Now specifically, I'm pretty interested in testing out the Xiaomi 13 Lite
00:43because this phone has a 15MP rear shooter with a Sony sensor.
00:49And more specifically, known to the Lite series, this thing has two selfie cameras.
00:54A 32MP shooter and a depth camera up front.
00:58Perfect for my beach selfies.

02:00The Xiaomi 13 Lite has an AI mode and I've been using that.
02:03And as you can see, colors are so bright and punchy.
02:05Especially in like really nice and bright lighting situations like this.
02:09And yes, this thing runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.
02:13Anyway, we're gonna see more of what these cameras can do.
02:16But first, breakfast.

02:58And I really have to say that I am loving the form factor of this phone.
03:03That's a very sleek device.
03:05As you can see, the edges are curved on this phone.
03:08You really only have that module that's slightly sticking out.
03:12But even the screen is curved.
03:14Now I know that there are people who aren't into the whole curved screen situation.
03:18But you know what? I like it.
03:20If you watch my videos, you know that I go absolutely crazy for this color.
03:24And specifically for the Lite series because they come in pink.
03:27My friends are already at the beach so I think I'm gonna go follow.
03:31Let me show you around our little villa where me and my friends are staying.
03:34Because the view looks absolutely stunning.
03:37So first off, this is 1080p with 30fps with HDR turned on.
03:42And now this is what the same scene looks like without HDR turned on.

03:48Now from this point, you can shoot in wide.
03:51And you can't do HDR when you shoot in wide or like in 4K.
03:56It has to be 1080p 30fps.
03:59Back to 1x and you can zoom.

04:05And then back to wide.
04:10Wait, you don't even have to stop to shoot it.
04:12Apparently, 1080p 30fps, you can go from wide to 6x.
04:161080p 60fps, this time no HDR.
04:18Because again, it doesn't allow you to do HDR on other resolutions.
04:22And you can do wide on this either.
04:24But you can zoom in up until 6x.

05:08that's a default shooting mode for this phone.
05:11But also because the front-facing camera can't really do 4K shooting.
05:14But I do show you samples just so you see how the camera,
05:18this phone camera tweaks.
05:20How it shoots in different resolutions to see if there's any discrepancy
05:24in how they treat the footage.
05:26Now because there are two cameras on the front-facing camera,
05:28you have options as to how you're gonna shoot selfie video.
05:32This is 1x.
05:340.8x 1080p 60fps just like the 1x video that I showed you.
05:40And even wider 0.6x.
05:43So you have like normal wide and wider on this front-facing camera.
05:47Which is great if you like vlogging like me or showing off like OOTDs
05:51and stuff like that.
05:52You also get the same options in 30fps 1080p.
05:57Again no 4K.
05:58Let's see if we can zoom in or out while we're shooting.
06:00No you cannot.
06:010.8x so you can see like it zoomed in a little bit.
06:04And the usual camera framing when it comes to the front-facing camera.

06:13But yeah 1080p 30fps.
06:15We also have HDR shooting.
06:17So this is what it looks like.
06:18It's not looking so good because it is against the light.
06:21But this is the footage without HDR.

06:26And as you can see there's really nothing there when HDR isn't turned on.
06:30But also on the front-facing camera 1080p 30fps for HDR.
06:34Otherwise like it turns off.
06:37Or you have to change resolution.
06:38Now also the second selfie camera is a depth camera.
06:42So that means you can do this full bokeh situation here on video.
06:48And also on photos.
