00:12Welcome to Isla's Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:15So this just launched along with the Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
00:21So I'm not going to beat around the bush in this video.
00:23We're going to be unboxing this.
00:24We're going to take some sample shots and we're going to do a quick camera tour.
00:27Let's start.
00:29The Redmi Note 11S.
00:31Same branding on the sides.
00:34Let's see.
00:35SIM tool.
00:36Oh, so many accessories.
00:46We have a screen protector, paperwork, jelly case.
00:50We have the phone, but we'll put that to the side and see what else is in the box first.
00:57We have the power brick, power cord, and what else do we have here?

01:05On to the phone.
01:06So the Redmi Note 11S has a 108MP pro-grade main camera, a 90Hz Full HD plus AMOLED dot
01:13display with dual speakers, 33W Pro fast charging, and 5000mAh battery with a MediaTek Helio
01:22G96 processor.
01:23Oh, that's a nice matte back.
01:35You do get smudges, but it isn't as bad.
01:38We have the Redmi branding here.
01:41108MP main shooter, and that is a total of four cameras, a tiny camera bump, volume rocker,
01:49fingerprint scanner, and power button, speaker grills, USB-C port.
01:53On the other side is the SIM tray.
01:56Let's see what it takes.
01:57That is, whoa, a lot.
02:00Dual SIM and a microSD card.
02:03You guys, there is an audio jack, speakers, IR blaster up top.
02:09Let's power this thing up, and in the meantime, you know what's coming, a montage.
02:17Now, as with the Redmi series, Xiaomi usually releases three, the lower mid-range device,
02:42which in this case is the Redmi Note 11, the middle mid-range device, this phone right
02:48here, and then you have the upper mid-range device, which is the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G,
02:54which hopefully is coming soon, so I will make a video on that phone as well.

02:58And so that makes this particular phone the Goldilocks of Xiaomi's Redmi mid-range series,
03:03which is quite impressive considering the specs, a 108MP camera, 5000mAh battery with
03:0933W fast charging, and even a 90Hz display.
03:13Right, camera tour time.
03:15So we go to the camera app, we have wide, 1X, 2X, up until 10X.
03:26Up top, you have flash settings, HDR settings, you have AI, you have your different filters,
03:32beauty mode, you also have Google Lens, and even more settings up here, so you have size,
03:40timer, you have a movie frame mode, a macro mode, tilt shift, and time burst.
03:46On the right, you have your portrait mode, and this gives you the option to adjust the
03:51blur, as you can see, the background behind me changes, and then up here, the same settings.
03:58At the bottom right, you have your beauty mode, you have your different filters.
04:02On the right, under more, you have a night mode, and you can do 1X, 2X, up until 8, wait,
04:1010X?
04:12You also have your settings on the upper right here.
04:15You have a 108MP shooter, so this means that you can shoot 108MP photos, that's 1X and
04:222X right here.
04:24You also have your filters available, and the same settings.
04:28You have a short video mode, it's downloading right now, but what this is, basically, is
04:32Android's solution to cameras not being optimized on social media.
04:37Basically, it gives you a dedicated mode for short video with different effects so that
04:42you can share this straight to whatever social media platform you want to share it to.
04:47So up here, it gives you the option to change background music while you're recording.
04:55And so when you tap here, it should show you all the different social media accounts
05:00that you've signed into on the phone.
05:01It doesn't show now because I don't have any yet, but you get the idea.
05:05It's also pretty fun, so you can do wide up until 6X.
05:11On here, there are different filters, beauty mode, there is this really cute kaleidoscope
05:17mode that we've seen in Xiaomi devices.
05:21You have a super slow-mo mode or a super fast mode on here.
05:26Under more, you also have the panorama mode, document scanner, slow motion mode.
05:30There's also a time-lapse and the ability to edit the actual camera app.
05:35On the other side, we have rear video, and you can do 1080p, 30fps, you have a movie
05:42frame mode, a macro mode.
05:44You also have, of course, a beauty filter on the rear camera, your different movie filters,
05:50and then your flash settings.
05:52You can do wide, 1X, 2X up until 6X, and ooh, there's also a beauty mode here.
06:01You also have a pro mode, and this is for video and photo.
06:06This means you can change around all the different settings.
06:08You can use your wide, ultra-wide lenses.
06:11There is no selfie mode on the pro mode.
06:14On video, you can do selfie mode, hey, and then you can do 1080p, 30fps.
06:21There's a movie frame mode.
06:23There's also a beauty mode.
06:24You have different filters as well, and can you zoom in or out?
06:29No, you cannot.
06:30You have your photo mode, which also gives you a more dedicated, more detailed beauty
06:36mode.
06:37Again, I always say use the beauty mode like makeup when it's 3LU, but, you know, imperfections
06:42are normal.
06:43Moving on, filters on here, you have an HDR mode, you have flash settings, you also have
06:49a selfie portrait mode that allows for the blur in the background to be adjusted as well.
06:56This gives you a beauty mode, filters, although the beauty mode with all the different settings
07:03can only be found in the photo mode and not the selfie portrait mode.
07:08And then we're back to more of what we've already seen, so time for some sample shots.
