00:00The Xiaomi Mi 11 is here and in this video I have my hands on the device so we're checking it out and doing a quick camera tour.

00:18So Xiaomi just announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 tonight and what do we have here? They sent over
00:26the very phone and more. I know you're excited. I'm excited. Let's get to the unboxing. Real quick

00:36something you enjoy. Only if you want. Thanks. Unboxing time. This is the box that Xiaomi sent
00:43over. We have this tiny Mi branding at the bottom there.
00:52First off we have this case.
00:58That's sort of fabric but not really. That texture is pretty good. It doesn't feel like it'll dirty
01:07easily. Xiaomi branding here and yes we can guess what shape the camera module is gonna be. That is
01:16one pretty thin nice case. Also those insides will make sure you're not scratching your phone.
01:24On to the actual phone. Very simple branding. 11. 108 megapixel ultra clear camera it says here.
01:33This is a 5G enabled phone and you have speakers by Harman Kardon. On the right we have Mi 11
01:42branding with easy access to the Google apps you use most. Same on that other side. Down here you
01:48have the package contents. Mi 11 adapter. Yes. USB type-c cable and then a type-c to 3.5 millimeter
01:57headphone dongle. SIM eject tool. Soft case. There's another case. User guide and warranty card.

02:10Designed by Xiaomi. So we have the SIM tool. Type-c to headphone adapter.
02:18User guide. Another case. A jelly case this time. We then have the phone but we're gonna check that out last.
02:33Folks we have a power brick.
02:37USB-C charging cord. Phone time. So the Mi 11 has a 108 megapixel camera and Harman Kardon sounds.
02:46You have a 120 hertz display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and 55 watt
02:53wire charging and 50 watt wireless charging. Let's open this up.
03:03That looks good. So this is the blue Mi 11. I'm not sure what material this is. It gets very
03:15confusing right now but feels solid. This is one of those phones that have the light hit it so
03:25beautifully. Xiaomi 5G branding at the bottom here. We have three cameras and a flash here
03:33on the camera bump. That's how that looks to the side and the edges of the phone sort of are curved
03:40so that's nice. On this right side a volume button, a power button and yes folks that is looking like
03:48a nice curved screen. This front screen is also Gorilla Glass Victus so that should be like really
03:56tough and at the bottom you have speaker grills, USB-C ports, SIM tray. We got a SIM 1 and SIM 2
04:07over here. We have sort of a clean other side and up top. Can you see that? It says sounds by Harman
04:15Kardon so those are speakers. Dual speakers. That's probably a mic and an infrared. Alright
04:21you know what time it is. Let's power it up and in the meantime a quick montage.
04:51Here we go guys. Camera tour time. I did put on the case and that looks super good I think.
05:10Fingerprint unlock and yeah this is one fast and snappy phone. I did notice that like the haptics
05:18are pretty good. Rest on vibrate feels a little different in a good way. Right camera time. Now I
05:26am sitting in front of a mirror so that you can see the back of the phone and like how far the
05:32thing that you're looking at through the camera is. First off we are on photo and this has a wide
05:401x, 2x. My dirty mirror. I'm sorry and then you can do up until 30x. Let's see that. Yeah those
05:53are my origami earrings. 1x, 2x and up until 10x. Oh nice and then so up here you have flash
06:04settings. You have HDR settings. You have AI. So AI camera just turned on and now there's a tiny
06:11person because it recognized that I'm a person. There is the different filters and of course
06:18a beauty mode and this is interesting. The very detailed beauty mode which includes like beauty
06:23mode for your body, legs, head, shoulders. Yeah it is available on the rear camera and I will say this.
06:31The beauty mode is fun. It helps you accentuate your features. Sometimes you sit down and it's
06:36just not your angle. This might help but there's nothing wrong with your own body with the real
06:41you and all that. Love the real you. Right. Up here we have settings also. It gives you the different
06:48photo sizes. It gives you timer settings. Oh movie frame mode. If you've seen any of my previous like
06:54Xiaomi videos you'd know that this is a mode I like because it's a little more cinematic and it
06:59gives you those black bars. You have straight in. Super macro mode is here in the settings.
07:07Of course that's not gonna focus because you need something like. Oh really near. Do you see?
07:12Wait. Whoa. Look at how focused that is when my rings are like near. Look. Whoa. Also rings from
07:21Vera Metals you guys. And then there's still shift and time burst over here. Now on the right we have
07:28portrait mode. So as you can see like the background is blurred. And this looks like
07:32it works not just on people because I'm blurred right now and it's focused on the phone. You have
07:39oh different cinematic. Oh different cinematic effects. I like this phantom one. Look at the
07:45purples and the pinks. Oh rainbow. This I think is new and that's pretty cool. I like these.
07:55There is also the bokeh adjustment. So you can do from an aperture of 1 which is blurry
08:02to less blurry an aperture of 16. Now we have a beauty mode. Just a toggle and different filters
08:10here. And up here you have the movie frame mode. The movie frame mode is the best on portrait mode.
08:18And then timer and then the different size settings. Finally we have more and we have
08:24even more camera features. We have the night mode. You can do wide 1x up until 2x up until
08:3410x on night mode. You can also do movie movie frame mode on night mode. Interesting. And then
08:42you have 108 megapixel shooter. So that is shooting a 108 megapixel photo with the main
08:50camera that's 108 megapixels. Again phones like this use pixel binning to shoot with camera so
08:57that you get a smaller but better quality photo. And here you can do different filters. There are
09:02flash settings and yeah timer settings. That's that. You also have a short video mode. Now again
09:11if you watch my Xiaomi videos you know that I like this too. So you have different slow-mo features.
09:17You have wide 1x, 2x up until 6x on here. And then you have the different beauty filters.
09:29You have filters and my fun kaleidoscope mode. Now on this mode you also have
09:38background music. So this mode basically what it's for is it's a workaround for like
09:44Instagram or social media not being so good when you're shooting on an Android phone from
09:49Instagram directly. Basically it's saying use this dedicated camera mode and then if you're
09:55signed into your social media platforms you can share straight from here. It should pop up here
10:01and then yeah better quality Instagram stories and stuff like that. Under more we also have
10:06panorama mode, document scanner always nice, the vlog mode. Again a mode I like on Xiaomi phones.
10:13It allows you to shoot and it will edit for you short vlogs. So it's great for b-roll and stuff
10:22like that. There are templates that you can follow right here. So for example you want something that
10:26looks like this and you can pick one and shoot and voila you're done. It's really easy. There is a
10:32slow motion mode here. Let's go into settings. So you can do 720 or 1080p and you can do 120 fps
10:40or 480 fps. You also have a time lapse mode and you can do time lapse on wide up until what zoom?
10:49What zoom? 6x. You can also do 4x to 80,000x. That's a speed and a duration of well infinity
11:00so you decide or 240. And then you of course have the dual video mode. It is this so both cameras
11:08working at the same time. Wait and I can zoom in and out as I do this or do this picture in picture
11:18type of thing and yeah. Something that's pretty new here you have movie effects. Now I've never
11:24tried this before. I think this is new on this phone. You have like magic zoom or slow shutter.
11:34So I'm assuming that these are templates that will allow you to shoot like more cinematic videos
11:41with this phone. So yeah a lot of really cool effects here. We're gonna test it out on the
11:47camera vlog test coming up you guys. Finally this has a long exposure mode so huh all the cool looks
11:58It says use a tripod so this could be a very interesting thing to do as well. Another thing
12:03that's new there is a super moon mode so something we're gonna try as well. Oh there's a 5x up until
12:1130x. I wonder how this will look interesting. And then on to the other side we have video. Hello!
12:20And we have wide up until 6x on video. Oh look at my earrings. And then up here flash HDR settings
12:31and then you have this is a steady video and then a steady video pro. Interesting. We also have
12:41different movie filters. Ah that's cool. We also have a beauty mode on video and live bokeh on
12:51video. Nice. Oh there's even color spots and you can adjust. That's a lot of features for video.
13:01And up here it tells you that you can shoot up until whoa 8k in 30 fps or 24 fps 4k and up until
13:11like 60 fps. 1080p up until 60 fps. That's very cool. So you have a movie frame mode on video.
13:21You have a super macro mode on video. You also have like a track object on video and AI camera.
13:30Finally we have the pro mode and this is a pro mode on photo and video. Nice. So both photos
13:38and videos you can do pro mode. Something that a lot of mobile filmmakers look for.
13:43And then let's move on to selfie. So no selfies on pro mode but on video. Hiya! So you have HDR,
13:51you have different movie filters, you have a beauty mode, you have a bokeh and then under
13:57settings you can shoot up until 1080p 60 fps. There's also a movie frame mode on here. On photos,
14:06hello. Can you zoom in or out? No. There is a flash, HDR, AI and then you can do timer,
14:16palm shutter of course, time burst and still a movie frame mode. On portrait mode we have ah
14:22the different effects are available on selfie. I like. You best believe I'm gonna try this on the
14:28camera vlog test. And then the different bokeh settings. You also have beauty mode and filters
14:36as well. And then we're back to more. Of course a lot of you guys already know at this point but
14:42for those of you who don't, know that this is just a quick camera tour that I do just so you
14:47can see for yourself what the new camera features are on each phone I unbox. If you want to see

15:01subscribe. Right and that was it for our quick camera tour. Now I know that this thing has very
15:09powerful cameras. We've seen 108 megapixel cameras on previous Xiaomi phones and even non-Xiaomi
15:15phones. But I see now why they've been touting this as the movie magic phone. There are so many
15:22new mobile filmmaker camera features on this that you could use to just create whatever
15:29video content you can on this device. So I'm looking forward to testing those all out.
