00:00Good morning. A much fresher feel is on the way for Sunday but before then we've
00:04got a spell of wet weather to push through the country and some very humid
00:08air still across eastern areas. There will be some early sunshine through much of
00:12this morning but the sunshine will turn hazier as we head towards lunchtime and
00:16into this afternoon. However it should stay dry across many eastern areas.
00:21Different story further west as outbreaks of potentially quite heavy
00:24rain will push in from western areas potentially bringing some localised
00:28flooding to parts of Wales and the southwest as well as potentially some
00:33areas of northwestern England too. And here it will be much fresher, temperatures
00:37much closer to average for the time of year down to around 15 to 18 degrees.
00:42However where we've still got that humid air across parts of East Anglia
00:45temperatures will still be in the high 20s so it could still be a fairly
00:49uncomfortable day for some areas here if you're not enjoying the heat. The cooler
00:54air will arrive across the rest of the country though overnight as this band of
00:57rain pushes eastwards bringing some spells of further heavy rain. We could
01:01also see some thunderstorms from the near continent push into southeastern
01:05areas as well so do keep an eye on the forecast if you're around here. However
01:09it will turn much drier and clearer from the north and west once this band of
01:13rain does clear through and as I said it is going to be a much more comfortable
01:17night tonight. Temperatures down in single figures for some of us but widely
01:21in the lower teens for most of us. And Sunday is actually looking like a fairly
01:26fine day there will be still quite a lot of dry weather around some sunshine too
01:29potentially still quite cloudy across eastern areas to start the day but the
01:33sunshine should spread into these areas as we head towards the afternoon. Now
01:38there is a risk of some showers breaking out across northwestern areas but as I
01:41said most of us should stay relatively dry and temperatures in the high teens
01:46low 20s much closer to average for the time of year and much more comfortable
01:50as well. Looking ahead to next week well it does look like low-pressure systems
01:55will continue to push westwards through the country potentially bringing a spell
01:59of wet weather into Monday. A ridge of high pressure following behind for
02:03Tuesday but then further wet weather later on in the week so fairly changeable
02:07but you can find more details on that on our YouTube channel. See you later.
