00:00Hello there, very good morning to you. While some of us may get a very brief
00:04glimpse of something summery today, it is not going to last throughout this week
00:08unfortunately. We do have this area of low pressure slowly arriving in from the
00:12southwest today that is going to be bringing an area of rain later on so
00:16we're already starting to see some outbreaks of light rain for the likes of
00:19Devon and Cornwall and the cloud will be building here across southern England
00:22and into southern Wales throughout the day. For everyone else though it is
00:26actually quite a nice start to the new working week, a decent number of sunny
00:29spells out there. We will see some showers bubbling up into the afternoon
00:33some of those could be on the sharp side so just watch out for a lot of heavy
00:36downpour or two. Still though there are sunny spells in between the showers and
00:40feeling actually quite pleasant even warm in amongst all of that with light
00:44winds. Temperatures climb to heights of 19 to 21 degrees Celsius which is pretty
00:48much where we expect them to be for this time of the year. Unfortunately for those
00:52underneath the most persistent cloud and rain in the south though it is going to
00:55be feeling much cooler temperatures really only 15 to 17 degrees Celsius at
01:00best here. And if you are heading home later on in the southwest do be prepared
01:06for some heavy pulses of rain to start arriving in later on as we see the wind
01:10strengthening as well turning quite gusty around coastal areas turning murky
01:14with the low cloud as well really is going to be a fairly damp and dreary end
01:18to the day unfortunately. That rain also pushing its way into Wales central areas
01:23of England skirting into the likes of Yorkshire Merseyside as well. Underneath
01:28all of that it is going to be quite a mild night temperatures not dropping
01:32much below 13 to 14 degrees Celsius. Elsewhere particularly for areas of
01:36Scotland where we hold on to the clearest skies overnight temperatures
01:39will drop down into single figures so a bit of a fresher start to Tuesday
01:43morning here. It is though northern Scotland that are really going to see
01:47the best and brightest and driest conditions throughout Tuesday staying
01:52dry here with a decent number of sunny spells throughout the day. Elsewhere
01:56though we've got heavy pulses of rain moving into northern England parts of
01:59Northern Ireland into southern Scotland as well so again take care if you're
02:02traveling here. We've also got to watch out for another pulse of rain just
02:05pushing its way into southeastern areas of England that one could also come with
02:10a few rumbles of thunder in the mixture as well. Winds though will be quite
02:15brisk and amongst all of this but they are starting to come in from the south
02:18and that is feeding in some slightly warmer and more humid air so feeling a
02:22bit close amongst all that cloud. Temperatures around 20-21 degrees
02:27Celsius but where you're stuck underneath the cloud and rain obviously
02:3020-21 degrees Celsius still won't feel like the most pleasant thing in the
02:35world. The area of low pressure is looking like it is going to stay with us
02:39throughout Wednesday so still widely unsettled here but signs are from
02:42Thursday onwards it will shift away and we could start to see something drier
02:46developing for the second half of the week. We'll have plenty more details on
02:50all of that in our week ahead forecast later on so subscribe to the YouTube
02:55channel so you know when that is revealed and we'll see you again here
02:59later on. Bye bye.
