00:00Hello, and a very good morning to you. Much more in the way of sunshine to start this
00:04Friday morning, but there still will be some showers around. And that's because we've got
00:09this westerly jet stream in charge of our weather over the next couple of days. And
00:13particularly on Saturday, we could see some heavy showers as well. But moving in towards
00:17Sunday, this jet stream will slowly start to move away, and this will allow high pressure
00:22to build across the UK, giving a little bit drier and sunnier conditions for Sunday. But
00:27back to this morning, so again, compared to yesterday, actually quite a lot of sunshine
00:31off it, particularly down the eastern parts. But for northwest Scotland and for Northern
00:35Ireland and some western coasts already seeing showers feeding in through the morning. And
00:39those are becoming a little bit more widespread as we head through the day. But the further
00:43southeast you are, it's going to be probably mostly a dry day with some decent sunny spells.
00:48And with that, temperatures are going to be into the early 20s and a touch cooler the
00:52further north we go into the mid to high teens. Heading through Friday evening, most
00:58of these showers will become a little bit lighter and fewer and further between. But
01:01certainly down the western coast and for western Scotland, they're still going to be feeding
01:05in overnight. So you still could see the odd spot of rain. But actually, for a lot of the
01:09country, it's going to be a dry night with lots of clear spells around as well. A few
01:14mist and fog patches and a touch cooler than it has been of late, but still fairly warm.
01:18But for parts of northern Scotland, you could get down into the single figures. So sunny
01:24start on Saturday for much of the UK, but it won't take long before we start to see
01:29some showers moving in and developing, particularly for Wales and parts of northern England. And
01:34some of these could be quite heavy at times, particularly for northern England, where they
01:38could be slow moving with the rumble of thunder in the mix as well. Temperatures again into
01:43the low 20s at best. But in that sunshine and that light wind, it's going to be feeling
01:47quite pleasant. But if you're stuck underneath a shower, particularly north of England, it
01:52could feel a little bit cooler. Those showers will break up as we head through the rest
01:57of Saturday and Sunday will be a lot drier for all. If you'd like to check out any more
02:01on that, please do have a look at our YouTube channel.
