00:00Good morning. A typical spring hodgepodge this morning. Some frost, some fog, some
00:06sunshine and some rain around as well. The overnight rain's been trickling its
00:11way across the eastern parts through the early hours and still lingering here for
00:15a good part of the day, especially for East Anglia and parts of eastern
00:18Scotland. Some rain this morning for Northern Ireland that pushes into
00:22Western Scotland and some heavy showers possible across southeast England. The
00:26mist and fog across the Midlands that should lift and then for many it'll be a
00:30dry and a bright day. Some decent spells of sunshine particularly for Wales and
00:34southwest England and this afternoon over Northern Ireland. The winds still
00:38fairly brisk over the eastern north of Scotland. Also on the west coast the
00:42breeze freshening up but for many the winds are lighter than yesterday and so
00:46with a bit of spring sunshine feels a bit warmer. Temperatures far from
00:49spectacular but getting into double digits for most of us. Those
00:53temperatures will drop away fairly sharply through this evening where we've
00:57got clear skies. Showery rain over the Highlands will ease off. We'll continue
01:02to see some showery rain coming into East Anglia and parts of the southeast
01:06through the night and the cloud likely to thicken generally once more over
01:10eastern parts of England and eastern Scotland. But it's further west where we'll
01:13have the clearest skies. We could see some freezing fog patches forming and
01:17also we will see a bit more of a frost forming as well. So temperatures more
01:22widely over Wales, the West Midlands, southwest England down to freezing or
01:27below. With a bit more cloud in the east temperatures generally here staying a
01:31little bit above freezing but still some pockets of frost possible if that cloud
01:35does break up at all. It does make for another fairly grey day over eastern
01:39areas with some showery rain possible. Nothing too heavy but a few light
01:45showers will continue for much of the day over northeast Scotland. We could see
01:48some over southeast England but we should also see the skies brightening a
01:53touch and certainly further west quite a bit of sunshine and off once more
01:57through Wednesday. The breeze picking up a little bit but probably feeling pretty
02:01pleasant in those sunny spells as temperatures get to 11, 12 maybe 13
02:06Celsius. Again where it stays fairly glum on those eastern coasts with the
02:10breeze off the sea it will feel pretty chilly with single digits at 7 to 9
02:14Celsius. Not a great deal of change as we go through this week. Much drier
02:19conditions generally and a bit more of an easterly breeze picking up. For more
