00:00Hello, and welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office.
00:04It's been quite a mild though unsettled start to the day, and that's not going to change
00:08much as we head through the afternoon.
00:11Rain will move away from East Anglia and South East England, though showers will work their
00:16way north-eastwards on those strong south-westerly winds.
00:20Those showers could be quite heavy at times, and may contain some hail.
00:24There is also a chance of a localised thunderstorm.
00:28Though there will be some sunny spells away from the showers, and this could lead to quite
00:31another mild day once again, with temperatures around 17-18 in the south, 14-15 in the north.
00:40Now moving through to this evening, and showers will continue for Northern Ireland, Scotland
00:44and Northern England for a time, though they will become more isolated the closer to Monday
00:49we get.
00:50There will be clear spells away from these showers, and this could lead to a few mist
00:55and fog patches for East Anglia and South East England.
00:59Though it will be another mild night once again, with temperatures barely dropping out
01:04of the double figures, with minimums of around 10-12.
01:08As we head into Monday, we draw our attention to this band of rain in the west.
01:13And this has triggered a Yellow Weather Warning for rain across the whole of Northern Ireland,
01:18as due to the slow moving nature of this band of rain, there will be some significant accumulations
01:23of rain, that could lead to some spray and flooding on roads.
01:28Away from this band of rain, it will be quite a nice start to the week, with plenty of sunny
01:32spells around, and will once again be quite a mild day, with temperatures remaining above
01:38average for the time of year, at around 16-18.
01:42Now heading into Monday night, and the all important trick-or-treating forecast.
01:47That band of rain will make its way eastwards through Monday evening, but quite slowly.
01:52So the further west you are, the earlier you're going to want to get out and about,
01:56and you might want to take an umbrella or a coat with you.
01:59The further east you are, the drier it will stay, though it might be a little cloudy.
02:05Looking ahead to Tuesday, and it's another unsettled day, with showers or longer spells
02:10of rain at times.
02:12Temperatures will still be quite mild, though they are starting to trend back down towards
02:16average for the time of year.
