00:00Hello again. Cooler and wetter on Friday in the southeast, but it will be fine elsewhere
00:06with still some warm sunshine. In fact, one or two showers are likely during the evening
00:12on Thursday in the east of England. Showers also clearing parts of Scotland, but then
00:17clearing skies for most, and under those clear skies, well it will be a cooler night compared
00:22to recent nights. Northern and western areas in any shelter spots will see lows of 2 to
00:285 Celsius. But on the whole, we're looking at high single figures, low double figures.
00:33Now in the southeastern East Anglia, it will be a relatively warm night. Cling on to the
00:37last of the warmth here, and a warm front coming in from the continent is likely to
00:41turn things wetter as we start off Friday. Large area of thunderstorms over the near
00:46continent, and the remnants of these are drifting north during Friday morning, and that means
00:51that particularly for the southeast, the far southeast that is, there is that threat that
00:57will import some thunderstorms and some very lively weather, especially during Friday morning.
01:02But on the whole, I think it's outbreaks of rain rather than thunderstorms, a lot of cloud
01:06cover feeling much cooler. Elsewhere, some cloud for Scotland and Northern Ireland, one
01:10or two showers, but most places fine. Best of the sunshine through this central slice,
01:1521 Celsius. That's close to average for the time of year, a pleasant enough June day for
01:20many away from East Anglia and the southeast that is. But the rain here does tend to slowly
01:27ease away during Friday evening and the small hours of Saturday. Elsewhere, clear skies
01:32to come on Saturday morning with one or two mist and fog patches forming, and another
01:38cool night I think with some sheltered rural locations seeing those temperatures dip into
01:43the mid-single figures or thereabouts. A bright start though for the vast majority. We've
01:48still got some remnants of this system giving some cloud and perhaps a few outbreaks of
01:53rain first thing Saturday. That does slowly disappear through the day, and then the cloud
01:58bubbles up in places, and I think for north-west Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland as well,
02:03we're going to see some heavy showers developing during the afternoon. But for most elsewhere,
02:09it's another fine and bright day, and feeling warm enough in the sunny spells with highs
02:14into the low 20s. If you want more, you can always find us on social media. Bye bye.
