00:00Hello, it is a bit of a split picture across the UK today. A lot of us will see some sunshine
00:06but we do just have a bit more cloud around in the south east. You can see this on the
00:10map bringing spells of light rain and drizzle to provide a bit of a damp day. But much brighter
00:16conditions across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales in particular with long sunny intervals
00:21here and feeling rather pleasant with temperatures climbing to 10 or 9 degrees. Just feeling
00:26that bit colder underneath the cloud in the south east. As we progress into Saturday evening
00:33and overnight we will see some of that cloud and rain just push further westwards a bit
00:37across Wales and south west England. And there will be a bit of a breeze across here as well
00:41particularly across southern coasts of England. But much lighter winds and clearer conditions
00:47prevailing across Northern Ireland and Scotland overnight. This allowing it to turn frosty
00:51and cold with rural locations even dropping as low as minus 5 degrees. Temperatures low
00:59single figures further south but still a chilly start to Sunday morning. And a bit of a cloudy
01:04one here and there as well. Still with those isolated spells of drizzle but we will definitely
01:09see some bright conditions prevailing over the course of the day as well. The longest
01:15sunny intervals though still across Northern Ireland and Scotland to provide a beautiful
01:19Sunday as well. Temperatures here once again climbing to 10 degrees in eastern Scotland.
01:25The far south west of England and Wales a bit colder compared to Saturday. As we move
01:30into the rest of the week and the high pressure that has kept things relatively settled over
01:35the course of the weekend will just shift a bit further eastwards. That will allow some
01:39fronts to try and push into the west with a bit of a battle going on. We'll keep you
01:45up to date with all of that on our social media channels so make sure you're following
01:49us there.
