00:00Hello again. Showers are the name of the game over the next few days. Most areas are likely

00:05to catch one, but equally some places will see sunny spells away from the showers. And

00:10after some early cloud and rain clears East Anglia in the south-east, I think it's the

00:15south-east corner where we'll see the fewest showers and best chance of some bright spells.

00:20But otherwise quite a few showers breaking out. The focus for the showers by the afternoon

00:25across north-east England, eastern parts of Scotland, as well as the south-west where

00:30there could be a line of showers developing where the winds come together. But away from

00:36the showers where we get some sunshine, 23, 24 Celsius possible eastern parts of England.

00:43Feeling cool though elsewhere where we've got high teens and showers coming through.

00:48And then into the evening, a break from the showers for a time, but some more long rain

00:52potentially into southern and south-eastern parts of England, perhaps skirting the North

00:56Sea coast later in the night. And showers also developing through Wales into north-west

01:02England, northern Ireland, parts of Scotland. But there will be some clear spells in between

01:06the showers, temperatures dipping into the single figures in places. So, low pressure

01:11in charge of our weather at the moment. That's sitting to the north-west. The isobars are

01:15opening out so it's becoming less and less breezy. That means of course the showers where

01:19they occur will be slower to move along. And it will be a showery start to Thursday.

01:24Some sunny spells towards the south and the east, but a cloud and outbreaks of rain on

01:28and off elsewhere. And then by the afternoon as temperatures rise, well, showers will break

01:33out just about anywhere. And actually, it's an unstable day for central and southern parts

01:38of England into Wales where there's the risk of hail and thunder occurring where the showers

01:42are at their heaviest. Cooler a little by Thursday afternoon compared to Wednesday afternoon

01:47with high teens up to 22 Celsius in the east of England. Coastal areas, particularly where

01:54we've got a bit of an onshore flow, likely to see the best of the sunshine through the

01:57day on Thursday. Those showers preferentially developing inland and they'll continue for

02:01a time during the evening. And essentially, Friday, Saturday, both look like showery days

02:08as well. Perhaps some more prolonged rain in places. But essentially, it's all about

02:13the showers for the time being until we get to next week when it looks drier for many.
