00:10On today's show...
00:12You're saying I blame my father for my brother's murder?
00:15My dad knows how I feel, yeah.
00:17What's his response to that? He don't care.
00:19Ashley could still be here
00:21if he didn't have the life that he had as a child.
00:26Why did you come here today?
00:28Because of the lies she's been telling about me,
00:31which are not true.
00:34He never felt loved by you.
00:36None of us did.
00:37Where was you?
00:39Where was you when we needed you the most?
00:41And another thing is you allow people to slag off Ashley
00:44on Facebook and you don't do jack about it.
00:51I don't think that's very hygienic, is it?
00:53Did you call the RSPCA, Carly? No way.
00:55You told my team I've seen her treat that dog badly.
00:58Oh, yeah, so that's why you haven't said good day?
01:01Shut up!
01:02Give someone else a chance.
01:04You're vile! How disgusting are you?
01:07Shut up!
01:08I've got more respect for the dog than I have any of you.
01:26CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
01:34Hello, my friends. A big, big welcome to the show.
01:37Now, we are starting this morning with a story that made headlines
01:40and shocked the nation just over ten years ago.
01:43Take a look at this.
01:45Ashley Dighton was 19 years of age
01:47when he went missing from his hometown of Ashford Kent in June 2007.
01:52This footage captures Ashley's last known movements,
01:55walking through a local shopping centre with friends,
01:58never to be seen alive again.
02:00His decomposed body was found a month later in woodland
02:03across the road from a local supermarket, hidden under branches.
02:07He had been decapitated.
02:10A truly devastating story that is made all the worse
02:13by the fact that still to this day
02:15nobody has been convicted of Ashley's murder.
02:18Now, our first guest shown here is Ashley's sister
02:21and she's going to be speaking publicly on TV
02:23about what impact this has had on her life and how, check this,
02:27she blames her own father for her brother's murder.
02:30So, at this point, I should inform you
02:32that all Shoney's father, Ambrose, is actually in the studio as we speak.
02:35He's going to watch and listen to everything that's been said.
02:37We'll be talking to him later, getting his side of the story.
02:39But it's a massive day for this young lady.
02:41Shoney's on The Jeremy Carr Show. Give her a round of applause.
02:44APPLAUSE
02:47CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
02:51I'm all right. I read this this morning
02:54and I think, like most people, unbelievable.
02:57I don't really know where you start with something like this.
03:01Let's talk about what happened to Ashley.
03:06I know you're now 25, I know this was nearly ten years ago,
03:09so you were a young girl.
03:11We'll talk after that about why you're here,
03:13why you're doing this, what you want from today.
03:15Let's talk about the facts, and I know it's difficult, but tell us more.
03:19My brother obviously went missing and that.
03:22He weren't reported till later on.
03:24How old was he? 19.
03:26He was obviously found in a brutal way.
03:29He had no head. His head was taken off.
03:33He basically had no fingertips.
03:39He had no rib either.
03:42To this day, nobody's been caught?
03:48No, no-one's been caught.
03:50Obviously, people have been, like, questioned about it,
03:54but nothing has ever come off of it.
03:56Has anybody ever got to the bottom of anything?
04:01Why was he... Was he just in the wrong place?
04:04Was it tied into something he was part of, something he was up to?
04:07It was probably, like, mainly cos he was in the wrong crowds,
04:10due to childhood experiences,
04:13and he was, like, taking drugs and that to help him.
04:17You said it there, and this is probably the most shocking thing about this story.
04:21Your dad, Ambrose, is watching this.
04:24When this happened, he was very vocal, as I think any father would be,
04:30but one of your gripes is that he went quiet.
04:34As you've grown and you've wanted answers,
04:39because you've said that Ashley was more of a father and a role model
04:42than Ambrose was, you wanted to start speaking out.
04:46You say he's tried to sabotage that.
04:48Yeah, recently I've done loads of live feeds on Facebook,
04:52trying to get out there as much as possible.
04:55I've also done petitions.
04:57He's gone on Facebook and said,
04:59basically, if anyone sees this petition of me and Ashley,
05:04we've done, not to sign it, basically not to listen to us.
05:08What's your relationship like with your dad?
05:11It's bad.
05:13Do you live with him? No.
05:15And I'm glad I don't live with him.
05:17You say he wasn't a good role model. What do you mean by that?
05:20He was, basically, when I was younger, and also Ashley,
05:25we was physically, mentally, emotionally abused.
05:30He used to chuck out Ashley all the time out of the house.
05:35He was never there for us.
05:37He never gave us kisses or cuddles.
05:39You say that Ashley never felt that he had affection from his dad.
05:42No, he never felt loved by him at all.
05:45There was an incident in the kitchen, I remember,
05:48where he pulled out a knife and he told his dad to stab him
05:51because he never loved him.
05:56You think that because of that, Ashley turned to...
05:59What, down the wrong path? Yeah, drugs.
06:03..and found himself in a bunch of people or a group
06:07and this horrific thing happened to him. Yeah.
06:10When you speak that line,
06:13I blame my father for my brother's brutal murder,
06:16and then you stop and you think about it, do you really?
06:19Or are you just lashing out because you're so understandably bitter
06:22and twisted and angry about the whole thing?
06:24No, I do blame him. At the end of the day, when you have a child,
06:27put it this way, you have a house.
06:30If you do not build that house on a solid foundation,
06:33later on that house is going to crack.
06:35You've got to be a role model for your parents, your kids.
06:38You've got to be there for your kids.
06:40Your kids look up to you.
06:42If you do not...
06:48If you don't do that, then cracks start to appear, like mental health,
06:52and you go down the wrong path, which could lead to alcohol and drugs.
06:56You say that your dad got a payout.
06:59He got 150 off Chat magazine,
07:02and 14 grand, it was off the police or whatever,
07:06but he obviously spent money on Nan's grave and Ashley's headstone,
07:11but the rest of it I don't know.
07:13But personally, I think he should have put that money out there
07:16to catch the killers.
07:24Is he consumed by guilt? Does he accept responsibility?
07:27I don't know the answer, but it's very difficult for me.
07:29I'm in the middle of this.
07:31You're saying I blame my father for my brother's murder.
07:34Me? That's a difficult thing to say, isn't it?
07:37It is difficult.
07:39Because we make choices in life, and however...
07:41I mean, I only base that on doing this,
07:43and I've had some people on this stage
07:45who've had some pretty horrific childhoods,
07:47and they've made huge successes of their life,
07:49almost a two-fingers to the people that have brought them up.
07:52I've had others who will use any excuse to say it's their fault.
07:55Is it your dad's fault that your brother got involved in drugs?
07:58You're saying it's because he wasn't loved.
08:00He weren't loved.
08:02When you have, like... I'm not a professional,
08:05but the way Ashley was, I reckon he had mental health issues.
08:08And that in itself, when you have mental health issues,
08:11you can't control your actions, what you do and that.
08:14And how is that his fault?
08:16At the end of the day, it makes people and break people.
08:19Does your dad know how you feel?
08:21My dad knows how I feel, yeah. And what's his response to that?
08:24He just puts everything under the rug.
08:27He don't take responsibility for what he's done to us as a child
08:30and what he's put us through and the pain that we get.
08:33Is blaming your dad, does it make it easier to deal with the death?
08:37No, it don't make it easier.
08:39It just makes it more harder, the fact, like,
08:42Ashley could still be here
08:44if he didn't have the life that he had as a child.
08:47Wow. You really mean that, don't you?
08:50Yeah.
08:52I think you're amazing, by the way.
08:54APPLAUSE
08:58I wanted to say, somebody from production's going to sit with you.
09:01Ambrose has to have the opportunities in one of our rooms.
09:04Is that all right? Yeah.
09:05OK, somebody from production, come and sit.
09:07Give her a round of applause. Thank you very much indeed.
09:10Wow, wow, wow.
09:14All right, buddy?
09:16That's a big thing, to blame your dad.
09:23Ambrose, how are you?
09:25All right, Jeremy. Thanks, Geoff.
09:28I guess I start by being as honest as I've always tried to be on this show.
09:32That's a huge accusation.
09:35Well, she, you know, she's always blamed me for this and that.
09:39You said you weren't a very good father.
09:42I love all my children and my grandchildren.
09:45That's an answer, but were you a good father?
09:47Yes, I was. I was a good father.
09:49I'm just quoting back so you get a chance.
09:51He was never proud of us or showed us any affection?
09:54I was proud of what all of my kids done.
09:57He bragged about kicking Ashley out each and every night.
10:00He was a bully.
10:01No, I did not.
10:03The only truth of that is that I kicked him out one night
10:08and then I went out somewhere, came back and I saw him laying on his bench
10:14and I said to him,
10:17Come on, boy, come home, I said.
10:19I'm sorry I threw you out.
10:21I didn't literally throw him out the house.
10:23Were you ever abusive physically to your kids?
10:25No, I was not. Not at all.
10:28She only says that because she needs somebody to blame.
10:34Why do you think your son turned to drugs?
10:38Why I think Ashley went to drugs is because of somebody else.
10:44That he knew?
10:46Yeah, who introduced him to it.
10:48Well, I sort of find myself in a slightly difficult position
10:51and I know that, showing his sister this,
10:54I know people who have had very good upbringings
10:57with very loving parents, adored, cosseted, who took drugs.
11:01But I think it's bigger than that with her.
11:05Maybe she is looking for somebody to blame.
11:07I don't know.
11:09But she says that you were into finding justice.
11:13It was all about, initially, the fame and the glory, is what she said.
11:17For me?
11:18I'm just saying.
11:19And then she says she doesn't do anything now
11:21and she's trying to still get answers.
11:23Why are you stopping her doing that?
11:25The reason why I said to her, I didn't want it on the paper,
11:33is because I wanted to look over to see what they were writing first,
11:38and then...
11:40Do you not want to find out who killed your son?
11:42Of course I do.
11:43But you also told her that I'm the head of the family and what I say goes.
11:46That's right.
11:47Why did you come here today?
11:50I came here because of the lies she's been telling about me,
11:54which are not true.
11:56And she knows that.
11:59How do you feel?
12:01I mean, obviously, you're still grieving.
12:03You lost your son in the most horrific way.
12:05I mean, so there's nights, Jeremy, or days when I'm indoors
12:12and I'll hear a certain record on the radio and I'm in tears.
12:18So you still feel it massively?
12:20Yeah.
12:21And sometimes when I go to bed, I cry myself to sleep.
12:26For me, the tragedy, and I'm not...
12:28I want to try and get you to move this forward, you two,
12:32because the tragedy is you had this son taken from you
12:35in the most awful circumstances,
12:37and yet you and your daughter, who should be as close and as tight as anything,
12:41are at loggerheads.
12:42Can I, in the first 15 minutes of doing this, say,
12:45yep, you're a rubbish dad, you definitely...
12:48No, I can't.
12:49But there's obviously something in her
12:51that you need to try and help me get out and deal with,
12:54because the tragedy is she didn't have a choice.
12:58She and you do have a choice.
13:00We're going to do that after the break. We'll be right back, all right?
13:03See if we can do it.
13:05Why do you think I blame you?
13:07Look what you did to us. Look what you put us through.
13:10I did not do nothing to you.
13:11Look what you did. Stop denying it.
13:13No, you're a liar. You're a bare-faced liar.
13:16Stop denying it, Dad.
13:18Look what you put us through. All the abuse.
13:25It's all kicking off. Security.
13:35This test is you're a liar, love.
13:38This isn't about you, this is about your children.
13:41Oh, here we go.
13:43OK.
13:44OK.
13:45OK.
13:46OK.
13:47OK.
13:48OK.
13:49OK.
13:50OK.
13:51OK.
13:52OK.
13:53OK.
13:54OK.
13:55OK, more happiness after.
13:59Oh, get off.
14:00No, no, no, no, no.
14:05Oh, my Lord.
14:07Leave Felix, go for it.
14:08Who's to put up with this?
14:14There's a feud in the family tearing your family apart.
14:17Do you think you're being lied to and need my help to prove it?
14:20and you'd like to be considered for the show, email talk at itv.com along with your number,
14:24text talk plus your name to 63334, text cost 25 pence plus one standard rate message,
14:29or you can call my team today, it's 09011, it's 123456, course cost 25 pence plus network access charge.
14:45Thank you very much indeed, welcome back. Before the break we spoke to Ambrose,
14:48Shoni as well, the family, I mean destroyed by this horror. Ten years ago you sang Ashley,
14:5419 years of age, in with the wrong crowd, they found his body beheaded, with his fingertips
14:58removed, I mean that, losing a child anyway, but in such horrific circumstances, ten years on,
15:04no convictions. We started this morning with Shoni, your daughter, she blames you,
15:07she absolutely blames you, she says that you were unloving, uncaring, unaffectionate, that you were
15:12a bully and that Ashley went down the wrong path. You said, no, no, I loved my son,
15:17yes I was a hard task master, but I'm the head of the family and I feel it like she does. I want
15:22to put you two together, is that alright? Yeah, but the thing with her, before I go out there,
15:27the thing with her... She's your daughter, mate. She's my daughter, but anything that you do here,
15:33to try for us to talk together, if it worked, then as soon as we're back... How do you know?
15:41She'd be doing the same. How do you know? Because I know her. Give her a chance,
15:45I don't think you know her at all. I think you're both racked by bitterness, anger, guilt, whatever,
15:52and I think you've polarised and that it becomes probably a survival technique to lash out at
15:57other people. Ashley would be looking down on you two and would want you to bang your
16:01heads together. Let's get out there, come on, let's go and talk. This way, bud. Thanks.
16:11You alright? Yeah.
16:17Ambrose, ladies and gentlemen.
16:29Do you have much contact, you two? No, not at all.
16:35That was Ashley, was it?
16:37With my daughter. Is next to you, pal. Is next to you in tears. I know. Well, do something about it then.
16:49Because she blames me for everything. Talk to her, not me. Why do you think I blame you?
16:56Look what you did to us. Look what you put us through. I did not do nothing to you. No, you did. Stop denying it.
17:03No, stop denying it, Dad. Do you know what you put us through? All the abuse. Kicking me down the stairs.
17:09Kicking me out while I was with her. No, I did not kick you. You're a liar. You're a bad-faced liar.
17:15You want to call me a liar? The only truth is what you've said on this stage and... You want to call me a liar all the time?
17:22Yeah. The only truth you've said on this stage is where you said Ashley picked up the knife
17:29and said, here, Dad, stab me. So you didn't kick him? Stab me. And then I got hold of the knife and I threw it straight in the sink.
17:37So what does that say? If your son's telling you to stab him because he thinks you never loved him, what is that saying, Dad?
17:43He never felt loved by you. None of us did. Where were you when we were sitting there crying at night?
17:50When we was getting beaten from people and that? Where was you? Where was you when we needed you the most?
17:57You was always never there. What did you do? What did you do? Six months after the person left, you tell me that she's doing this and doing that?
18:06Because, as a father, you would know if something like that... And you've done stuff yourself, Dad.
18:12You would know if your child has had something done to them. And about this money you say about from Chat,
18:18I didn't get £150. Chat paid me £350 for the story. Yeah, where did that go then?
18:26Straight on to your brother's funeral bill. No, you said, Dad, when that £14,000 was there, they paid the rest of your funeral bill.
18:35Excuse me. I was paying it while I was waiting for that and it wasn't £14,000, it was £12,700.
18:44Can I just jump in before we get bogged down in money? I mean, everybody knows that I have an opinion and everybody knows that, you know, my kids are the most important thing in my life.
18:54You just come across as a bit cold, as lacking in any real emotion. I'm not going to, as I said earlier, sit here and say,
19:04did you beat your kids? Were you abusive? Were you non-interested? Whatever. But you're cold, mate.
19:10Well, I don't care what you think. And another thing is you allow people to slag off Ashley on Facebook and you don't do jack about it.
19:20And don't sit there and say you don't. And that's another thing. I've never said anything about Ashley. Yes, you have. You have.
19:27No, because I've blocked you and I've blocked... and the reason why is because of all these lies you tell me about me.
19:34What lies? Because your family always come first. We can't talk about people who aren't here. Let me ask you a question, Ambrose.
19:40Do you believe yourself to be a good father? Yeah, I do. I brought up my kids, too.
19:47Well, I don't know how many kids you've got, but you've already blocked two of them and lost one of them.
19:52All together, I've got eight. I had eight.
19:56My kids could do the worst thing in the world to me, but I'd still be their father, I hope.
20:01I was still their father until... and I still am.
20:05But why don't you try and investigate why, if you say they're lies, why don't you spend your time as an adult and as her father
20:11trying to work out why she's saying these things, because maybe she's massively unhappy or has an issue with you.
20:16Why don't you try and put those issues right? She's always had an issue with me.
20:20She's always had an issue with you, but then... I've never had an issue with you.
20:25Yes, you have. Can we leave this? Shirley, can you look at me a sec?
20:28Look at me. Can I ask you a question, which is difficult, right?
20:33OK? I know you wanted to do this, and I don't want to continue this if it's difficult.
20:40I believe he's as unhappy as you, ironically, of course, ironically.
20:43The one thing that you share is that you both have a quite understandable desire to get justice for Ashley,
20:49and what I guess I'm saying is that she's crying out for you to be more involved,
20:55he's crying out for you to understand that he might not have been great,
20:58but he's not responsible for the heinous thing that happened to your brother, a terrible, terrible thing,
21:03and I would have thought the very least that Ashley deserved would be that the two of you could somehow work together to get him that justice he deserved.
21:08APPLAUSE
21:11Do you know what I mean? Do you know what I mean?
21:14It's not for me to say, you're right, she's wrong, she's right, you're wrong.
21:18You both suffered the most awful loss.
21:21You both have lashed out, I'm sure, as I'm sure one does, right? We all do that.
21:27I mean, so it's like when we found out about Ashley, and the police came and told us,
21:33and they said, we think we found your son, and he's dead.
21:40And I couldn't talk to the officers what came and told us, because I was just dumbstruck.
21:51I tried to cuddle my daughter, Shonny, and they just pushed me away.
21:55Tell you what I do believe, I do believe you're a cold fish, and that's not a criticism,
21:58but I believe that's a by-product of what's happened.
22:01I believe that you want justice, I believe that you want justice.
22:05In your quest to cry out to get this sorted, you've said some things.
22:11But she obviously thinks that.
22:13And you two, you just need, you're going to be stuck if you don't sort this out.
22:19You need to listen to each other, you need to, I think, you need to...
22:24The thing is, she won't listen to me.
22:25She is your daughter, pal.
22:29Kids don't listen to their parents.
22:32Shonny will not listen to me.
22:34Yeah, but look at the people you hang with, and you stick up for them,
22:38them other family members.
22:39Can I ask you one thing, both of you, because we were pleased that you decided to do this.
22:46Can you at least, the two of you, just accept a little bit of help from this show,
22:51and at least try away from these cameras to get this a bit more out in the open,
22:56a bit less confrontational, and...
22:58It won't work.
23:00Because you never let it work, Dad.
23:01How much you want it to work.
23:04See, now I completely, I don't care.
23:05Once it, once it...
23:06Can I just say something?
23:07Once we're back in...
23:07Don't start attacking me.
23:09I'm saying, once we're back...
23:10Your negative cold fish attitude is best summed up by what she just said,
23:14it'll never work, Dad, because you never make the effort, you don't want to.
23:17What am I supposed to say?
23:18Because everybody behind me is going to agree.
23:20You should, as the dad, go, not, oh, it won't work, I want to do this,
23:25I want to make an effort, but you don't.
23:27And that's why we've got a problem.
23:28So why don't you change the course of your mind and say,
23:31yeah, I will accept some help,
23:33and I'll sit with her and we'll see if we can do this.
23:35APPLAUSE
23:36Why did you not say that?
23:37Have you got anything to lose?
23:40Have you got anything to lose?
23:42He said, even if we talk today, she'll go back home and slag me off.
23:45But you don't want to do that, you want to get this right, don't you?
23:47I want this to work for Ashley,
23:49and I've been saying this for years about Ashley.
23:52Look at your daughter, you haven't looked at her.
23:54But then, she...
23:55She is your daughter.
23:56Excuse me, she sees me in the town.
24:02She had my new granddaughter with her.
24:04What about today?
24:05And... What about today?
24:06Actually, when I was heavily pregnant with Athena,
24:09I told you to say hello to your granddaughter,
24:12and you didn't even say hello to her, you just gave me a dirty look.
24:15I'm not being rude, just because we don't get along yet,
24:18I'm not going to take that out on my kids.
24:20Will you at least accept our help?
24:23It ain't going to be no good, Jeremy.
24:26Even if I go for it, as soon as we're back at school,
24:29she will be doing the same thing, slagging me off.
24:32No, I don't slag you off, Dad.
24:33You don't want to try?
24:35I have slagged you off in the past because of the way you've treated me.
24:39There is a lot of issues behind me because of the past you have gave me.
24:43You don't want to try?
24:44I used to go up to school every time something happened.
24:46Do you want...?
24:47And then, all of a sudden, you say to me,
24:51oh, you don't start telling me about the boy at school saying about Ashley.
24:56Do you want our help?
24:59I'll try it, but I'll tell you something.
25:01No, don't tell me anything, just try it.
25:03I know what's going to happen.
25:05Why don't you try and go into it with a different attitude?
25:08I'm not... Listen, mate, it's not for me to say that it's going to be...
25:11It's going to right, but I believe that she...
25:14Just base it on one thing, that poor kid doesn't have a choice, you two do.
25:18This kid had his life taken away, made some mistakes, I'm sure,
25:21but, ultimately, what happened to him was awful.
25:24And he deserves the very least, I would think,
25:26for his family to do better than they're doing right now.
25:28And I don't know whether we can make that happen or not,
25:30but I think it's worth a try, isn't it?
25:31APPLAUSE
25:34Thanks, Graham.
25:35Go that way together. Graham's waiting. Go.
25:37APPLAUSE
25:39I don't think I've ever done a more shocking story
25:41or been left more cold by the answers,
25:42but we'll let you know how that goes back after this break
25:44with more from the Jakes.
25:46APPLAUSE
25:48She's Trina Denia, she's run RSPCA.
25:50G-O-V-N-E-R!
25:51The only dog she knows is my dog.
25:53MUSIC CONTINUES
26:11It's all kicking off. Security.
26:13GROWLING
26:15I'm trying to get out!
26:20This test is, you're a liar, love.
26:21GROWLING
26:23This isn't about you, this is about your children.
26:26Oh, here we go, the curling piece.
26:28OK, more happiness after.
26:29LAUGHTER
26:32Oh, get off!
26:33No, no, no, no, no!
26:35I'll bring you down!
26:38Oh, my Lord.
26:40We need Phillip Schofield to put up with this.
26:42LAUGHTER
26:46Do you think you're being lied to?
26:48Do you have evidence to prove it, like home videos, recordings or texts
26:51that you want to confront someone with?
26:54If you're 18 or over and you'd like to be considered for the show,
26:57email talk.itv.com, along with your number.
26:59Text TALK, plus your name, to 63334.
27:02Text plus 25p plus one standard rate message.
27:04Or you can call my team today. It's 090111.
27:07It's 123456. Call us, cost 25p, plus network access charge.
27:11APPLAUSE
27:15CHEERING
27:21Thank you very much, Neil Walker-Burnley.
27:23You might just remember my next guest.
27:25Take a look at this, my friends.
27:29What's the story? You were best mates?
27:31We were. Why? Well, we were meant to be best mates.
27:34Yeah? But all she done was slag me off behind me back.
27:37Why did you do a lie detector again?
27:39Because I've had enough of this...
27:41I just want them to leave me alone. I'm happy with my life.
27:44You've been trying to leave her alone. It's hurt.
27:46Why did you want to do this lie detector?
27:48Cos I did not. Cos you didn't steal the drugs.
27:50But you did before, with Mark.
27:52But suddenly... Not with me. Why are you crying?
27:54Not with me. Oh, shut up, Lisa.
27:56Lisa did admit to stealing painkillers from Carly in the past.
27:59That's what you talked about four months ago.
28:01She said it was four months ago, yeah,
28:03and she stole them from a drawer in your house, yeah?
28:05But this was stuff in the bin shed. We asked Lisa,
28:07did you steal this medication that went missing from Carly's bin shed recently?
28:10You said no. Why did you say no? Cos I passed.
28:12You failed again.
28:16I would wash my hands of all of them, mate.
28:18If I was you, Carly, I'd run for the hill.
28:25Now, Lisa says that after the show,
28:27Carly, the horrible woman, reported to the RSPCA
28:30claiming her dog was being mistreated,
28:32and she says she's furious that Carly will not let her go on with her life.
28:35She claims that Carly is, frankly, a jealous, manipulative prostitute.
28:39Ooh!
28:41Who's after a man and a dog.
28:45Lisa's on The Jeremy Carl Show!
28:55What is... What? What?
28:57I just want to tell you, don't talk to me like rubbish this time.
29:00What? What?
29:02What did you say? It's out of fact...
29:04Yeah, I can't say the word, but, yeah, you know what I mean.
29:07Right, are you with Mark still?
29:09Yeah, she was the one that tried splitting us up,
29:11saying that he tried it on with her.
29:14Right, are you with him? Yeah. Right.
29:16What is going on about this dog? Please help me.
29:19Right, now, she's trying to deny she's rang the RSPCA.
29:22Right, she...
29:25She's rang her friend... Yes.
29:27..that rang me straight away... Yes.
29:29..and said she's just asked for RSPCA's number.
29:32The only dog she knows is my dog.
29:34You go home, you stupid... You find him on yourself.
29:37Yeah, when they come round, they had her phone number on the system
29:40and told me it was her.
29:42So, well done! Lisa, shut up!
29:45At least we've heard your number.
29:47She's jealous of me.
29:56If that dog even so much as left its leg in this studio...
30:00I've got a joke about a dog I want to share with you all later.
30:05Oh. Oh.
30:09Come on, does this dog...
30:11If you think I'm going that near that wolf...
30:14No, he's soft. Everyone's been near him this morning.
30:17Everyone asked him. He's so soft.
30:19He would not bite anyone. He never has.
30:21Don't you dare let go of that lead.
30:23Look, does that little dog look like he's mistreated?
30:26Oh, there you go. Lovely.
30:28No, he's not mistreated. You've looked after him.
30:30So she's complained to the RSPCA.
30:32This is why I've come on it.
30:34So you're saying that this woman always wants what you have.
30:37A man, a flat, a dog, everything.
30:39And your research is...
30:41Dog, get on the stage. Nice to meet... What's the dog called?
30:44Bobby. Bobby? Harvey.
30:46Harvey. Nice to meet you, Harvey.
30:48This is true, right? Have you heard that joke?
30:50If you don't laugh about this, there's something wrong, right?
30:53Bloke walks into the pub, right? Walks up to the bar
30:55and there's a bloke at the bar with a dog.
30:57He said, my dog's never bitten anyone.
30:59He said, are you sure? He said, it has never bitten anyone.
31:01He said, cos I'm scared of dogs.
31:03He said, I'm telling you, my dog doesn't bite.
31:05He bent down, stroked the dog, and the dog bit him.
31:07He said, you horrible man, you said my dog doesn't bite.
31:09He said, that's not my dog.
31:11LAUGHTER
31:13CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
31:16It's just, like, she's...
31:18So she's insulted the... She's reported to the RSPCA.
31:21She tried to nick your husband, man.
31:23She's stolen money. She's a thief.
31:25And basically, she's an absolute waste of space
31:28and I want to kick her in the backside.
31:31So you're not very happy with her, then?
31:33No, she's nicked 20 quid off...
31:35She's horrible.
31:37She says you're a liar and a cheat.
31:40She says you're jealous of her.
31:42She says you're a mess and she's good-looking and...
31:44Anyway...
31:46Carly's back on the Jeremy Carr Show.
31:49CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
31:56You're...
31:59You're the one that's stolen from me.
32:01All I do is try to help you.
32:06Just hush it for once.
32:08..our messages, which they've got.
32:10They're not there.
32:12They're not there, so you did it.
32:15Shut up. Give someone else a chance.
32:17No, because you're vile.
32:21How disgusting are you?
32:23Shut up.
32:24There's so many people that want to beat you up.
32:26What have you done to my son?
32:27I've got more respect for the dog than I have any of you.
32:30Right, OK, that's why...
32:32Hello, welcome back. Are you all right?
32:34Yes. Good.
32:35Are you... On a serious note, did you call the RSPCA, Carly?
32:38No way. So why did RSPCA tell me, then?
32:40I've got respect for Harvey.
32:42So why did RSPCA tell me? They're not going to lie.
32:45She said your number was on the phone message.
32:48I've changed my number just after the last show.
32:50Because of the threats I was getting after the last show.
32:52From Lisa.
32:54Oh, my God, I'm not beneath you.
32:56I've got people around my door.
32:58So that's why you've got to send them messages.
33:00She said you're a prostitute.
33:02The producer had them.
33:04He's had them all sent.
33:06You told my team I've seen her treat that dog badly.
33:09I've seen him...
33:10Oh, yeah, so that's why he looks so good, yeah?
33:12When he's naughty, she turns him off, and that's all I've seen.
33:16You had so much to say about the dog over...
33:19..like on Facebook...
33:21That's a bit of a funny story.
33:23..she was saying, I shouldn't get on with my dog.
33:25Apparently I call him names and all this, yeah?
33:27And now she's gone quiet about it.
33:29She gets on quite well with her dog, doesn't she?
33:31Sometimes, yeah.
33:33Look at this video. I'd say this goes beyond getting on with your dog.
33:35Have a look at this. This is definitely...
33:37SHE GIGGLES
33:47I don't think that's very hygienic, is it?
33:51All right, enough of that, please.
33:53Um, Carly, why are you here?
33:55Do you want a man?
33:57What? I think that's hilarious.
33:59Mark has been like... Is that why you messaged me
34:01saying that you tried to get on with him?
34:03Has Mark seen it?
34:05I haven't, Lisa. Mark has been like a brother to me for years.
34:07Oh, right, OK. You've been trying to get with Mark for years.
34:09Even he will tell you.
34:11That's a joke, Lisa. I've known Mark longer than you've been on the same...
34:13Oh, yeah, OK. It's a joke.
34:15Are you jealous of the fact that she's with Mark?
34:17Are you jealous?
34:19As long as he'll talk to me and leave me alone, that's it.
34:21I've left you alone!
34:23You're the one that keeps ringing Jeremy Coles,
34:25like, I want to take her on for the dog,
34:27and I can't say no!
34:29I had a phone call before...
34:31..and said, Carly's rung up again.
34:33Stop having a lousy...
34:37You just brought me here this time, Lisa,
34:39to prove that, haven't you?
34:41No, it isn't!
34:43You've got to ask him yourself.
34:45Right, that's it. Can you get him out of here, please?
34:47Why not? I want to know.
34:49Bring the dog. Let everybody come on stage.
34:51Get the dog out.
34:53APPLAUSE
34:55Let's mic the dog up.
34:57Let's mic the dog up.
34:59Get the sound department.
35:01No caution to the wind.
35:03Welcome Harvey and Mark on The Jeremy Coles Show.
35:05Here we go. Round of applause.
35:07CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
35:11Come on, come on.
35:13Aww!
35:17Are you mic'd?
35:19Oh, dear God.
35:21Sit. Sit.
35:23Sit. Sit.
35:25All right, all right, sit.
35:27Good boy.
35:29He's got a big pair of balls, hasn't he?
35:33See, even the dog's got two
35:35and I've only got one. Brilliant.
35:37Mark, these women,
35:39she says that you're not allowed to be her friend
35:41any more because of her. Talk to me, come on.
35:43Well, it's all gone a bit...
35:45You used to be best mates.
35:47You used to treat me like a sister, darling.
35:49Last time we were here
35:51was you were with me against Lisa
35:53and then all of a sudden after our show
35:55you went back to Lisa
35:57and it's me that's wrong.
35:59No, no, no.
36:01Have you actually tried it on with you?
36:03No.
36:05Did you see that message, though, that she sent me saying,
36:07thank you?
36:09So why has he seen it?
36:11He's not going to make it up.
36:13I've heard so much...
36:15I'm sick of it.
36:17Does this dog have to listen to this the whole time?
36:19This dog's got more sense than all of you.
36:21Look at him.
36:23Harvey, Harvey.
36:25Harvey, Harvey.
36:27Harvey, Harvey.
36:29Harvey, who's that?
36:31No, don't come to the closet.
36:33Just sit down.
36:39He knows all your records.
36:41Dogs don't like me.
36:43Camera four's terrified of the dog.
36:45Right, get a close-up.
36:47What's the matter with you?
36:49I don't like dogs.
36:51Why not?
36:53I'm terrified of it.
36:55Are you really?
36:57Yeah.
36:59Why, what do you think the worst thing that could happen?
37:01He could bite me and kill me.
37:03Right, well, it's only...
37:05I don't want you to take this the wrong way, any of you.
37:07I don't mind about Harvey.
37:09I don't want to see any of you ever again.
37:11I didn't want to come in.
37:13I didn't want to come next time.
37:15I'm getting all this hair.
37:17The thing is here, you need to stand up.
37:19If you're prepared to be a friend, you've got to tell your missus.
37:21I don't care who he's friends with.
37:23He can be friends with whoever he likes.
37:25How many times have you cheated on Mark, Lisa?
37:27Once, and he knows about that.
37:29How many times?
37:31Once, actually, and it's been proven.
37:33He's dropping your nipples every time.
37:39Right, so you basically...
37:41Mark, you don't want to be friends with her any more, then?
37:43He does!
37:45No, well, I don't want the grief.
37:47I just want to be happy.
37:49He can't be friends with those stupid friends.
37:51I told him he can't. It's up to him.
37:53You always tell him what he can and can't do.
37:55No, he doesn't.
37:57He doesn't want to upset you.
37:59He was the one that blocked you on his own Facebook.
38:01He told me he doesn't want to be near you.
38:03Stop dropping your nipples all the time, Lisa.
38:05Why does it matter to you whether she drops her nipples?
38:07Because she's calling me a prostitute.
38:09No, she's not a prostitute.
38:11Have you ever sold your body for sex, ever?
38:13Have you sold your body for sex?
38:15Have you had a go at selling your body for sex?
38:17If I had any money for it, I would, yeah.
38:19APPLAUSE
38:21Well, you go that way, you go that way.
38:23Thank you very much, indeed.
38:25Thank you all for the break. Thanks for that. Bye.
38:27She's done a real, I just have to test today
38:29to prove that didn't happen on the recliner.
38:31Since the start of your relationship with Colin,
38:33apart from the one time you admitted to,
38:35have you had sexual intercourse with anyone else?
38:37You said no. Why did you say no?
38:39Tell him, Chief.
38:47MUSIC
38:55It's all kicking off. Security.
38:57LAUGHTER
39:03This test says you're a liar, love.
39:07This isn't about you, this is about your children.
39:09Oh, here we go.
39:11OK, more happiness after.
39:13LAUGHTER
39:15Oh, get off!
39:17No, no, no, no, no!
39:21Oh, my Lord.
39:23We've finished. Go for it.
39:25Who has to put up with this?
39:27LAUGHTER
39:29Do you think you're being lied to?
39:31Do you have evidence to prove it,
39:33like home videos, recordings or texts
39:35that you want to confront someone with?
39:37If you're 18 or over and you'd like to be considered for the show,
39:40email talk.itv.com along with your number.
39:43Text TALK plus your name to 63334.
39:46Text costs 25 pence plus one standard rate message.
39:48Or you can call my team today.
39:50It's 09011. It's 123456.
39:53Calls cost 25 pence plus network access charge.
39:58CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
40:04Thank you very much indeed. Welcome back.
40:06Now, you might just recognise my next guest
40:08from a previous appearance on this show. Take a look at this.
40:12How do you know that they partook...
40:14Because my housemate...
40:16..in the carnal lust on your recliner?
40:18Because my housemate... What?
40:20My housemate heard everything.
40:22Do you believe that your girlfriend had sex
40:24on a reclining leather chair at her sister's house?
40:26No, I don't. No, I don't.
40:28So you didn't want her to do a lie detector? I don't want her.
40:32Did you have it with Carol on the reclining chair?
40:35Yeah, three times.
40:37But she was with somebody when you had sex...
40:39When you had sex on the reclining... What does that make you, then?
40:42I don't know. He doesn't believe it.
40:44He says that she wouldn't... He won't believe it.
40:46You say he's a muppet? Yes.
40:48Why do you believe people like you?
40:50You described her as an ugly, fat whale.
40:52I'm a muppet. I'm a muppet.
40:54I'm a muppet. I'm a muppet.
40:56I'm a muppet. I'm a muppet.
40:58Is this a lie detector? Can I speak?
41:00Is this a lie detector? Stop doing what you're doing.
41:02Let me ask you. You have admitted to having sex with him, haven't you?
41:05After the last...
41:07After the last I admitted to him...
41:11Now, despite that show, despite the revelation that Carol cheated on him
41:14with another man on the reclining chair,
41:16Colin has chosen to stick with her.
41:18Because he's a doormat. And he's even bought her a dog.
41:21What's that got to do with anything?
41:23However, Colin's now back on the show... I can't believe we're doing this.
41:26..to see if she's cheated more than the one time he's admitted to her.
41:29What does that matter? He says, I want to marry her.
41:31I'm sure she hasn't cheated again. I love her.
41:33She made a mistake on the reclining chair.
41:35I bought her a dog. I love her.
41:38Out you come, Colin. Come on.
41:40APPLAUSE
41:47Gorgeous.
41:49Nice to see you again.
41:51What was that?
41:52Handshake. Man handshake.
41:53It's a man handshake. Man handshake.
41:55Serious note. Serious, serious point.
41:58I know you love the woman, but it took a while for her to admit
42:01that she'd had sex with the other man on the reclining chair.
42:04Why are you prepared to admit that you're accepting that?
42:07Why are you not like, sorry, love, do one, I'm worth more?
42:10Why?
42:12You know, it was a beginning of a relationship when it happened.
42:16It was right at the beginning.
42:18You love her, but she lied to you for ages about having sexual intercourse.
42:22She was scared that I would leave.
42:24But you told my team, even if she fails today, I love her, I'm going to marry her.
42:27Yeah, well, I would. Why?
42:29Because I've cheated in the past. What, on her?
42:31No, I've cheated on her two times, what she knows about.
42:34At the beginning of the relationship, we were on and off.
42:37Oh, so you let her off cos of guilt?
42:39Why have you bought her a dog?
42:44What is it doing in my studio?
42:50Aw.
42:52What's it called?
42:53It's called Casper.
42:55She's eight weeks old.
42:56So, what's the point of me...
42:58Don't let it near me.
43:00Can I just say something?
43:02Why are we doing a lie detector if you're just going to let her off whatever?
43:05What's the point?
43:06Just to clarify, really.
43:07Clarify what, your guilt?
43:08Obviously, no, she's cheated on me, and just to prove that's the only time.
43:12And what if it isn't the only time?
43:15Well, if it's not the only time, then we're going to have to try and speak round it.
43:19You're just going to go on forever letting this woman off for having sex with her?
43:23Well, that's what I'm prepared to do.
43:24What?
43:25That's what I'm prepared to do for the person I love.
43:27So, let me get this absolutely straight.
43:29You don't basically have sex with anybody and you go,
43:31I love you, I'll let you off?
43:32No, well, I told her the next time.
43:34That's where she had sex, on the reclining chair?
43:37She said it, right?
43:39That's what they said that happened on the reclining chair.
43:41He had sex with her?
43:42She's done a lie detector test today to prove that didn't happen on the recliner.
43:47It was a load of...
43:48He said that three times.
43:50How many times could you forgive her because you love her?
43:53I think this is the last time I'm going to forgive her, to be honest with you.
43:56I've told her it was the last time and she knows it herself.
43:58You're a liar, come on, I bet you're going to fail again, aren't you?
44:02Took you long enough to tell...
44:03Look at you, she's as smug as anything, mate,
44:05cos she knows you're a doormat and she's going to have sex with anybody
44:08and you go, it's all right, I love you.
44:10Carol's back on the show!
44:18Why did it take you so long to admit last time, then?
44:20I didn't, I admitted to him straight away.
44:22Not to me, you didn't.
44:23No, not to you, I didn't.
44:24To me.
44:25Why not?
44:26Why didn't you admit it to me straight away?
44:28Well, no, I admitted it to you the day I came back from Leeds, I admitted it to you.
44:32Have you cheated on him again?
44:33Nope.
44:34Why do I think you're lying?
44:35I've been with him, I live with him,
44:37I moved away from my own family town to be with him.
44:40Do you know what your mum said?
44:41I don't care about her.
44:43I don't care about her.
44:45Rip that up and put it in the bin, mate.
44:47Carol never listens to me.
44:48Yeah, cos I hate her.
44:49Colin controls her, he's a control freak.
44:52She hasn't got her own phone,
44:53she doesn't even have her own Facebook account.
44:55I'm sorry, but what has that to do with it?
44:56I've not... She doesn't...
44:57I told Colin all along that she cheated, but he doesn't listen.
45:00He even moved my own daughter to his area to keep an eye on her.
45:03When Carol's on the phone, he was always asking who it was
45:05and looking over his shoulder.
45:06He's taken my daughter away from my friends and family.
45:09She, interestingly, is always calling me up crying,
45:11moaning about how controlling he is.
45:13She needs to get away from him, she doesn't love him.
45:15Well...
45:16I haven't spoken to my mum.
45:17Did you hear when we were doing it that he's cheated on you three times?
45:20Twice.
45:21He said that was twice that she knows about.
45:22Yeah, I already knew about that.
45:23So there was more then?
45:24We wasn't together when that happened.
45:26Twice.
45:27Is that why you cheated on him?
45:28No.
45:29And one person she knows about.
45:31No.
45:32How many times have you cheated?
45:33Once.
45:34How many times have you cheated?
45:35Well...
45:36You didn't even cheat, we wasn't together.
45:38LAUGHTER
45:39We wasn't together when he...
45:40I was on a break.
45:41We wasn't even together.
45:43We wasn't together, I was on a break.
45:45Why are we doing this?
45:46To prove to either my mum...
45:48To prove to each other.
45:49And to my mum.
45:50And to her mum.
45:51What's her mum got to do with the price of fish?
45:53It's the one that's going round saying,
45:55she's done this, she's done that.
45:56I need two.
45:57I thought you'd done one.
45:59He did one last time.
46:00And I passed.
46:01And he passed.
46:02What do I know, it's only called the Jeremy Carl show.
46:04Why are you laughing?
46:05Hold on a minute, why are you laughing at me?
46:07LAUGHTER
46:08It's very stressful because I'm surrounded by people
46:10that don't tell me what's going on.
46:12Well, you should know.
46:13It's your show, your name's on the wall, look.
46:15APPLAUSE
46:20You know what you said earlier?
46:22Can you do a little bit with me today?
46:24Because I like being on camera.
46:25And can I have the upper hand?
46:26LAUGHTER
46:29Does that make you feel big, does it?
46:31We asked Carol, quite frankly, I don't know why we did,
46:33but since the start of your relationship with Colin,
46:35apart from the one time you admitted to,
46:37have you had sexual intercourse with anyone else?
46:39You said no, why did you say no?
46:40To tell the truth.
46:41It's a romantic, loving end to the story.
46:43She was telling the truth.
46:45Isn't that lovely?
46:46I don't quite know how to tell you this.
46:48She passed every single question.
46:51APPLAUSE
46:56The sincerity of the Jeremy Carle audience.
46:58Got it, she's not a cheat!
47:00A little bit of advice.
47:02People...
47:03Seriously, people get over relationship problems sometimes
47:06and it makes them stronger.
47:07You two are cool.
47:08Ignore the rest of the world, including your mother.
47:10What are you crying for now?
47:11Because you're not coming back?
47:12No, because I've been accused of it for so long
47:14and I haven't done it.
47:15I told him I've not done it from the start.
47:18Careful, Jeremy.
47:19Who's been... Shut up.
47:20Who's been accusing you?
47:21My mum, everybody.
47:23There you are, you've got it definitively now.
47:26I'd stop listening to the rest of the world and go and enjoy yourself.
47:29APPLAUSE
47:30Nice to meet you.
47:32APPLAUSE
47:37That's where it went down for this morning.
47:39If you want to be on this show, you need my help.
47:41Visit our website, the details are on screen.
47:43To my guests, to this audience and to you for watching at home,
47:45I'll see you very soon. Take care, bye-bye for now.
47:47APPLAUSE
47:52Breaking the law is just doing something someone don't like.
47:58You are saying I am judge and jury.
48:00You are perverting the course of justice.
48:03Go, go, go!
48:04It could be in these holes, the back of these houses.
48:08Oh, my God, look at that.
48:10That is absolutely disintegrating.
48:13So, you sold drugs today for that money. How much is that?
48:15About a grand.
48:20You used acid on someone.
48:22Through his face.
48:23You threw it in his face.
48:25He was excruciating.
48:26You have to cause as much damage as you can.
48:28You knew what the outcome was going to be.
48:30There'd be a lot more that would have said to him.
48:32If that was your son and he died, what would you say?
48:34Obviously, I'd have something to say about it.
48:36Then you're going to have blood on your hands.
48:38When you're out here, you're out on your own.
48:40It's the face that's the problem.
