00:00Here I am at Shrewsbury-Sundawn-Castle training ground where we've just spoken to Gareth Ainsworth
00:06ahead of the game against Huddersfield this weekend. It's freezing cold here, it was minus
00:12six when I headed off this morning to the training ground and it is white over, completely
00:17frosty and they will not be training here today. They are heading up to the stadium
00:22to train on the artificial and that will be most likely the case of tomorrow. There is
00:26some doubt over whether this game is going to go ahead of course because of how cold
00:29it is and how that will affect the pitch at the Crowd Meadow. Huddersfield have played
00:35in midweek so it will probably be in Shrewsbury's interest to try and get the game on. They
00:38had an away fixture at Wycombe but obviously of course with the cold weather there is very
00:44little that you can do. It's not just nought degrees, it's really, really cold, especially
00:49at night at the moment. So whether this game is going to go ahead we shall find out in
00:55the next 24-48 hours won't we? With regards to the actual presser itself, Gareth Ainsworth
01:01was asked about Charles Sago Jr after the youngster returned to Arsenal this week. Some
01:09nice comments from the boss on there and some stories that will be on the way over the course
01:13of the next 24 hours or so. He talked about incomings again and there is lots of work
01:17going on behind the scenes and it's quality that he is looking to bring in but also once
01:22again kind of reinforce the fact that it feels like any deals that are going to be
01:26done here at Shrewsbury Town, this window, are going to probably be quite late. So that's
01:32another thing. Aaron Pierre was on the agenda, he's won the club's player of the month award.
01:39Gareth Ainsworth was quite glowing about him after a good couple of months. So a nice story
01:45on Aaron Pierre. For Shrewsbury it's sod's law that they come up against three sides
01:51who are really in form at the moment in League One. Three of the four nominees for the League
01:55One Manager of the Month award were Richie Wellens of Leighton Orient who played last
01:59week and of course Michael Duff from Huddersfield and Phil Parkins from Wrexham which is their
02:04next two games. So it's a difficult afternoon in prospect in the next two clashes for Shrewsbury
02:09who are just starting to build some momentum in League One but I suppose that they can
02:12look at it as a challenge ahead of the fixture if they can get points and they can produce
02:19performance against a side like Huddersfield or Wrexham then that is a sign of the positive
02:24things to come over the next few months. For all your reaction head to ShropshireStar.com
