00:00Well, well, well, there has been quite a lot of movement at Shrewsbury Town over the last
00:05week or so and there are plenty of stories for which I can discuss on my pre-Wrexham
00:11video, the game against the cross-border Derby, which will take place at the Crowd Meadow
00:16on Thursday evening, the unusual kick-off time, because it's been moved for EFL and
00:21Sky Sports fixtures. I mean, it's where to begin really with what's happened over the
00:26last 24, 48 hours and even the last week with so many comings and goings since the
00:30last time we did a video and the last time we recorded a podcast. But I suppose the best
00:35place to start is with Tom Bloxham. Obviously, we understand that there's interest from Blackpool,
00:39serious interest from Blackpool in the Shrewsbury Town youngster. Obviously, he scored the equaliser
00:44ten minutes from time on New Year's Day at Bloomfield Road to give Shrewsbury a point
00:49and he was very impressive on that day and obviously there's interest in him and then
00:55securing the 21-year-old's signature. Gareth Ainsworth was asked about that this morning
01:00in his press conference and he kind of admitted that he'd be surprised if there wasn't interest
01:05from Ligue 1 clubs given what a good player that Bloxham is. He was reluctant to get too
01:10drawn into commenting on the speculation in the reports that we put out at the Shropshire
01:15Star exclusively on Monday evening, but it's a situation that you'll have to monitor or
01:20we will have to monitor closely ahead of the game against Wrexham and beyond depending
01:26on what happens and Blackpool's interest. Other things we've also seen today that Harrison
01:32Biggins has returned to Shrewsbury Town after a loan spell at Carlisle. He made 17 appearances
01:38at Brunton Park and has returned to the Crowd Meadow. Gareth Ainsworth said he met him for
01:46the first time this morning and he will now have his opportunity to prove himself and
01:50to get game time depending on how he performs in training and when he gets minutes on the
01:55pitch. I think fans are crying out for an incoming or two but I think it's a very welcome
02:00incoming just based purely on numbers. Over the last week or so we've seen Charles Sago
02:05junior leave, we've seen Jordan Rossita depart on loan to Oldham Athletic. He has likely
02:09played his last game in a Shrewsbury shirt with him being just on a one-year deal. We've
02:14also seen Josh Coyote return to his parent club Rotherham. So there's been lots of comings
02:19and goings, lots of stuff, lots of stories to write about for me as a Shrewsbury Town
02:24journalist. And not only that, we know we're in the week of a cross-border derby with a
02:29huge game against Wrexham Town looking to bounce back after back-to-back defeats against
02:34them last year. This time last year, it was January last year actually, in the FA Cup
02:39when Wrexham knocked Shrewsbury out of the FA Cup and then of course they beat them the
02:44racecourse ground earlier this year, not this year, this season, 3-0. That was a pretty
02:49poor performance from that day from Shrewsbury, a disappointing one. So they'll want to bounce
02:53back after that. Shrewsbury now haven't played since that trip to Leyton Orient just over
03:00a week ago so they'll be looking to bounce back and pick up three points in the derby.
