00:00There's Shrewsbury Town training ground here, Sunderland Castle bathed in sunshine, having
00:06just spoken to Salop head coach Michael Appleton ahead of the game tomorrow evening against
00:12Reading in League One, a fixture that was postponed due to international call-ups just
00:16a few weeks ago and it means that Shrewsbury are in action again tomorrow evening after
00:20that disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Cambridge. Shrewsbury can't be relegated tomorrow because
00:26Bristol Rovers aren't playing but they will go with defeat right to the cusp of basically
00:31being right on the edge of whether they get relegated or not. That is probably expected
00:36to happen if they don't get results, probably more likely or is more likely to happen at
00:42Lincoln or beyond. Michael Appleton in his pre-match press conference did touch on Shrewsbury's
00:49inability in the final third to really be able to create chances and he actually mentioned
00:55and compared it to a tennis player with the amount of unforced errors that perhaps they
00:59made and that lack of composure. They actually did against Cambridge get into some decent
01:03positions but they didn't have any shots or many chances because of the mistakes that
01:07they made in possession of the football when they got into some decent positions. Riccardo
01:11Di Nanga not too far away from being back but we're not expecting to see Harrison Biggins,
01:17Verdane Oliver or Leo Kasselbein any time soon. He did actually confirm today that Leo
01:23Kasselbein has returned to Chelsea. I think that is something that everybody already knew
01:29in any case from the previous head coach, Gareth Ainsworth's time in charge but having
01:34said that it's always worth clarifying so that has been clarified today. An important
01:40fixture for Shrewsbury tomorrow, only pride at stake really for Salah but very important
01:47that they try to build up some momentum and restore. There's not going to be good feeling
01:52because ultimately they're going to be relegated and they're just waiting for that confirmation
01:56to come but some good feeling and everybody wants to see something a little bit more positive.
02:02Let's keep our fingers crossed that tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow evening at the Crown
02:06Meadow can be a better evening.
