00:00Hello there, welcome to your latest weather forecast from the Met Office.
00:04As we go through the second half of this weekend, for most of us it is a largely dry picture.
00:10But that's not the case for parts of Northern Ireland and Western Scotland.
00:13We've seen another spell of rain move in throughout the day.
00:17Elsewhere, as I mentioned, it's largely dry.
00:19It could just be the odd spot of rain around, especially across parts of Northern England.
00:24Best of the brightness will be across the south.
00:27Later on in the day, another area of rain begins to move in across parts of Northern Ireland.
00:31So really, it's going to be a bit of a cloudy and wet day here.
00:35So, under the cloud and rain, temperatures struggling a little bit,
00:38especially compared to of late.
00:40Temperatures only reaching around 17 or 18 degrees.
00:43But further south, in the sunshine, feeling pleasant enough,
00:46highs reaching around 21 to 23 degrees.
00:49So, around where they should be for the time of year.
00:53Into the evening, the rain continues to pile in across Northern Ireland.
00:56Moves into Scotland and Northern England for a time.
01:00And the rain actually then starts to intensify across Western Scotland later on in the night.
01:05A warning is in force for parts of Western Scotland as we go through the early hours of Monday.
01:10And in fact, that continues right throughout the day.
01:13Further south, it's a fairly quiet night with clearing skies.
01:17And under the clear skies, temperatures certainly a little bit cooler than they have been of late.
01:21So, I think for most of us, it should be a fairly comfortable night to sleep.
01:26So, we start the new working week across England and Wales,
01:29largely dry with some spells of sunshine.
01:32Maybe some rain from time to time across Wales and south-west England later on.
01:36But for Northern Ireland and Scotland, where it is a bank holiday across Scotland,
01:40it's unfortunately going to be a pretty wet one.
01:42And as I said, that warning is in force right throughout the day.
01:45So, if you do have any travel plans, do take some extra time for your journeys
01:49because there could be plenty of surface spray on the roads.
01:52It may well cheer up later on across the far west of Scotland
01:55and maybe also the far west of Northern Ireland.
01:58But generally, it is a fairly cloudy and wet picture here.
02:02So, under the cloud and rain, temperatures around 20, 21 degrees.
02:07Maybe feeling a little bit humid as well.
02:09Where further south, thanks to the southerly wind and the sunshine, temperatures climb.
02:14Once again, we could see highs reaching 27, possibly maybe 28 in a few spots.
02:20Then, as we go through Monday night and into Tuesday,
02:23that area of rain will sweep across the country.
02:26So, we will see some rain elsewhere, but much lighter and more patchy
02:30compared to how it will be across Northern Ireland and Scotland during Monday.
02:34Behind it, it will turn fresher once again.
02:36Temperatures will turn into nearer to normal across the south.
02:40But where we do see the sunshine, I think, again, it will feel pleasant enough.
02:45But if you want more detail about the weather where you are over the coming days,
02:49you can always check out our website or our app.
02:51But for me, for now, take care and I'll see you again soon.
