00:00A blast of some hot weather not lasting too long and nothing exceptional but
00:05because summer's been so cool it's pretty noticeable when temperatures get
00:09into the mid to high 20s for the first time. We might even touch 30 Celsius
00:13during Tuesday. The wet weather though is creeping its way into the far
00:18northwest so it is going to turn cooler here clouding over across Northern
00:21Ireland as we go through the night as well. For most of England and Wales though
00:24it's dry still some misty murky conditions along parts of the south
00:29coast. I think we'll see the cloud breaking up across Wales and southwest
00:32England. It is going to stay pretty warm however particularly if we keep quite a
00:36bit of cloud over northeast England. Temperatures holding up in the high
00:40teens perhaps in some towns and cities. On to the details for Tuesday warm and
00:45humid certainly for England and Wales but a different day for Scotland and
00:49Northern Ireland. Probably starting off with some sunshine through the Central
00:52Belts and across the east of Scotland but damp and drizzly conditions over the
00:56Highlands and one or two showers over Northern Ireland. They'll spread that
01:00wetter weather into eastern Scotland and there's the chance of the cloud
01:03bubbling up generating one or two isolated but potentially quite heavy
01:07showers over the far north of England and perhaps even into southern Scotland.
01:12Should brighten up a little for Northern Ireland. Western Scotland come the
01:15afternoon but for most of England and Wales it's dry and sunny. A sunnier day
01:19for South Wales and southwest England compared to Monday and it'll be warmer
01:23as a result with temperatures here getting into the low even close to the
01:28mid-20s in Cardiff and certainly the mid to high 20s over the Midlands. Top
01:34temperature probably somewhere in the London area likely to peak at close to
01:3830 degrees Celsius. It won't be as hot for Northern Ireland and Scotland because
01:43there'll be more cloud around but still quite warm across southeast Scotland
01:47nonetheless. But still a little bit of rain here during Tuesday evening a
01:51possibility one or two heavy showers still over Northern England also need to
01:55keep an eye on those. They may well keep on going into the early hours of
01:59Wednesday morning but for most elsewhere it just stays dry again turning a bit
02:02misty and one thing we're likely to see changing on Wednesday an increasing
02:07chance of mist and low cloud along these eastern coasts. Again quite a warm and
02:11humid night for many but notice the cooler air has arrived in Northern
02:14Ireland. Some clearer skies in here allowing temperatures to dip down to
02:18single digits. As for Wednesday's weather well a sunnier day for Northern
02:23Ireland and Western Scotland but a cloudier day on some of these North Sea
02:26coasts could be quite murky one or two showers possible. We may see one or two
02:31breaking out over the hills and mountains of Wales, North West England
02:34also. But still for most places dry plenty of sunshine over the Midlands
02:39Southern England, South Wales and another very warm day. Again temperatures likely
02:44in and around the London area to get up to 30 degrees Celsius. A warmer day for
02:48Northern Ireland but a cooler day on some of these North Sea coasts where it
02:51stays quite misty so that could be quite a big change compared to Tuesday's
02:56temperatures. Slowly but surely though there is something lurking behind me
03:00that is a weather front that will introduce cooler and cloudier conditions
03:05and somewhat fresher weather as we head towards the weekend. For more on that you
