00:00Hello, very good morning to you. For some of us it is going to be a bit of a damp start to the day but there will then be some bright sunny spells developing in many places.
00:09The damp start will be in the southeast. Here there is still that lingering front left over from yesterday bringing a bit more cloud, a bit more grey skies and some drizzly rain but then that is gradually clearing away towards the southeast.
00:22Otherwise, like I said, some bright or sunny skies developing and just a few showers to watch out for until we go through later into the afternoon when we are going to see more frequent showery rain feeding in across parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and into North West England as well.
00:37There will be a bit more sunshine than yesterday and so for some of us it is going to feel a little bit more pleasant, a little bit warmer, mid to high teens quite widely, low 20s in the southeast though where any thicker cloud lingers it may feel a little bit cooler than it was yesterday.
00:52Overnight we are going to see the showery rain across northern parts gradually making their way southwards and so although in the south it is going to be a largely fine end to the day, thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain will push their way in as we go through the early hours of tomorrow morning.
01:08And worth bearing in mind, some of the rain could be a little bit heavy at times, particularly across western parts, especially over any higher ground. That is where we could get some heavier bursts developing.
01:17Because of the unsettled weather, as you would expect, temperatures really aren't going to drop a huge amount. Most places staying in double figures, some places only dropping to around 14 or 15 Celsius perhaps.
01:28So a relatively cloudy and rather wet start to the day tomorrow. Most places will have some outbreaks of rain as we go through the morning. Perhaps some heavier bursts, especially in the west and the east. None of it looks especially heavy but nonetheless a pretty damp day.
01:43Then after the initial area of wet weather clears away towards the east, there will be a secondary band following in behind. So this could bring some more persistent rain, particularly across western parts as we go through tomorrow afternoon. And in amongst this there could be some heavier bursts mixed in too.
01:59Watch out for some low clouds, some hill fog and also some strong blustery winds, particularly towards the northwest of the UK. Because of the unsettled weather, it is going to feel a little bit more unpleasant, a bit cooler than today perhaps. And sunshine really is going to be pretty limited if we see much if any at all.
02:17In the southeast though, there could be some high humidity. So it could feel a little bit humid here and temperatures may just about scrape into the low 20s Celsius. That system is going to clear its way towards the east as we go through later Wednesday and into Thursday. But there is more unsettled weather to come as we go through the rest of this week.
