00:00Hello again. Most of us having a fine day today. Sunny spells for many through the afternoon
00:06and it feels quite warm when the sun's out as well because the winds are light. There
00:11will be some wet weather arriving for some of us tonight and tomorrow. That's going to
00:15come from this area of low pressure slowly edging towards us but ahead of it a ridge
00:21of high pressure as I said bringing most of us a fine day out there. We did start with
00:25some wet weather across North East Scotland. That's fizzling out. Still a few showers
00:30maybe across Shetland and the cloud thickening across Northern Ireland and Western Scotland.
00:34A little bit of rain likely here by the end of the afternoon but for most it's dry. Yes
00:39there's a fair bit of cloud around but many places seeing some sunshine from time to time
00:43and that will lift the temperatures into the 20s, 23 possible across the south east a little
00:49cooler further north. We will see more of a change through this evening as that weather
00:54system brings some more rain to Northern Ireland and into Western Scotland. That could pep
00:59up a little bit, get a bit heavier as we head through the early hours. Much of England and
01:04Wales though will have a dry night. The breeze will be picking up further west and that will
01:09help to stop as much fog forming but still likely to see some mist and fog over central
01:14and eastern England as we head into Friday morning. Temperatures likely to drop down
01:19maybe to single figures in rural areas but towns and cities mostly in double digits and
01:23quite a warm night with that wet weather coming into the north west. Some uncertainty about
01:28the extent of rain during Friday but certainly a good part of Western Scotland, Northern
01:32Ireland having a very different day, cloudy and damp. Some patchy rain across eastern
01:36Scotland and the likelihood of some at times for West Wales and the far south west of England
01:42but as I said quite a bit of uncertainty still about the extent of the rainfall here. Much
01:47of East Wales and most of England will be dry and bright and we will see some brighter
01:52skies perhaps developing across eastern Scotland at times as well. And once that mist and fog
01:56has gone quite a pleasant day then of course eastern England's temperatures again getting
02:00into the low 20s. But feeling cooler further west with the thicker cloud and the outbreaks
02:06of rain which are likely to pep up at times and could be quite a wet afternoon for most
02:11of Western Scotland and that rain lingering into the evening across the east of Northern
02:15Ireland too. A few more showers perhaps by then coming into the south west. But there
02:19is quite a bit of uncertainty about this weather system as it comes in and that lingers
02:22that uncertainty into the weekend. We're likely again to have some foggy mornings. There will
02:28be some bursts of rain around as well. It could be on the heavy side but by no means
02:33everywhere seeing them. Different places the showers through the course of the weekend
02:38and there will still be some warm sunshine to be had as well. A full weekend forecast
02:43available on our YouTube channels by Thursday afternoon and of course keep up to date with
02:48the very latest anyway by following us on Twitter.
