00:00Hello again. Most will have a dry bright day on Tuesday, still fairly cloudy but
00:05certainly of course northern England a brighter, drier day compared to Monday.
00:09There will be some drizzly conditions particularly across the south of
00:13England and South Wales and we are looking at more wet weather coming into
00:17the northwest with increasing winds also. So a bit of a mixed picture through
00:22Tuesday but as I said drier and brighter certainly for many who've been stuck
00:26under this wriggling waving weather front through much of the day. That is
00:31edging southwards but also kind of fizzling out at the same time another
00:35weather front approaching the far northwest. But let's deal with this one
00:38first of all because it is going to make for quite a damp evening across the
00:42Midlands, parts of South Wales before bringing rain and drizzle to parts of
00:46southwest England and East Anglia through the early hours. Further north
00:49it's turning drier and clearer and as the winds ease off a touch it could turn
00:54quite chilly. Some pockets of frost certainly in rural parts of northern
00:57England and eastern Scotland. But further south it will be a very mild night with
01:03the cloud and the mist which is likely to make for quite a murky day on Tuesday.
01:07Meanwhile in the far northwest things turning pretty lively once more the
01:11winds picking up through the night. A very gusty day over the Northern Isles,
01:14the Western Isles and the Highlands of Scotland with outbreaks of rain. Some of
01:17that rain just trickling at times through the central belts maybe into
01:21parts of Fife as well. But the far northeast of Scotland mostly dry and
01:25bright and the drizzly conditions further south should tend to peter out. I
01:29think mostly it will stay pretty glum but for northern England, Northern Ireland
01:33mostly dry and bright and at times we'll see a bit of hazy sunshine coming
01:38through. Temperatures well generally above average for the time of year
01:41really quite mild across the south 12 possibly even 13 degrees Celsius. During
01:47Tuesday evening it'll likely stay fairly murky across the south still some
01:51drizzly conditions here and there and the rain will pep up a little bit in
01:54Western Scotland before heading its way into Northern Ireland as we go into
01:58Wednesday. This zone here likely to be fairly dull and damp so the far
02:02northwest of England, southwest Scotland, Northern Ireland seeing rain on and off.
02:06A brighter day though across the Highlands still some showers over
02:10Shetland. Still pretty gloomy in the far south with the odd light shower but we
02:15should see some brightness coming through over northeastern parts of Wales
02:19and eastern parts of England. Hint of sunshine here with light winds
02:23temperatures getting up to double digits shouldn't feel too bad at all. Generally
02:27still pretty mild. Temperatures are going to be ticking down a little bit as the
02:32week goes on. Weather front bringing the patchy rain in the northwest is going to
02:36be pushed to the north by this chunky area of high pressure. That is moving in
02:41bringing a lot of dry weather from Thursday into the weekend and perhaps
02:46even beyond. This high is likely to stick around bringing largely dry
02:50conditions but also probably quite a lot of cloud and some fog patches also
02:55increasingly likely towards the end of the week. A full week ahead forecast is
