00:00Hello there. With a mixture of sunshine and showers, Saturday is going to be a great day
00:04for hunting down those pots of gold at the end of a rainbow. It's all because low pressure
00:09is the main driver of our weather at the moment and we've got this occluded front which is
00:13gradually moving eastwards across the country. As we start off Saturday afternoon that will
00:18be across southwestern areas into central England and then swinging back across Scotland
00:23as well, potentially bringing some more persistent spells of rain here. Showers developing behind
00:27this and these could be heavy at times, maybe with an isolated rumble of thunder. More prolonged
00:33sunny intervals in the south east of England providing a relatively pleasant day and it's
00:37here where we'll see temperatures climb the most but feeling that bit cooler across western
00:41areas underneath the clouds and rain. As we move into Saturday evening that front will
00:46continue its way eastwards, so east Anglia down into south east England now seeing some
00:51spots of rain. Some drier and clearer intervals developing across other areas of England and
00:57Wales whereas we'll see further patchy rain pushing its way into Northern Ireland and
01:01Scotland. Temperatures generally staying around double figures for most but underneath some
01:06of those clearer intervals across England we might see rural spots getting down into
01:10mid single figures. But generally not too chilly of a start to Sunday morning and the
01:16rain now pushing its way into Wales and northwest England and showers developing over the course
01:21of the day. These could be again heavy at times. The main focus of these across central
01:26areas to begin but pushing their way eastwards into the afternoon so Northern Ireland, Wales
01:31and southwest England actually turning drier later on. Temperatures relatively similar
01:36to Saturday peaking in the south east and turning cooler as you head northwest particularly
01:41with some breezy winds developing here as well. Into next week though it's an improving
01:45picture for the south and east turning relatively dry but we do still have the risk of some
01:50spells of rain in the north and west. But to keep up to date with all of that and the
01:55gradual increase in temperatures make sure you're following us on social media and we'll
01:58see you soon. Bye bye.
