Transcript
00:00Good morning it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Thursday, September the 3rd,
00:05Free Press Day so don't forget to go out and get your copy today but in the meantime
00:10obviously there's quite a lot of stuff on our website as well. The top three stories on our
00:16website at the moment. Yesterday we received some information about an emergency incident that was
00:22taking place in Doncaster. Police and ambulance have seen flocking to the scene in intake.
00:31We believe somebody was taken to hospital but we do not have any more information than that.
00:35The emergency service haven't come back to us with more information but when we get it
00:40we'll obviously update that story and send it out on our social media. Right, breaking this morning
00:49I put something out just after midnight last night. The Transport Secretary officially opens
00:54the 200 million pound rail manufacturing industry, manufacturing factory. It's actually
01:02based at Gould. We do know there's a lot of people from Doncaster involved in that.
01:06It's an actual major coup for Gould itself and for the whole of the region. As I said 200 million
01:14pounds is a lot of money to spend and hopefully a lot of people will be employed through that
01:20throughout the years and it will bring up some up-and-coming talent it is hoped as well. If we
01:27can get the colleges to get these people trained up it's going to be a very
01:33very useful facility there as well. And then finally one of Doncaster's most wanted men has
01:39finally been jailed after a five thousand pound burglary. You can see his mugshot on the
01:45Facebook page today also on the website so please take a look at that. You can find out what
01:52he got up to before the hand of the law got on to him. So for those three stories and for anything
01:59else that's happening in Doncaster please visit www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and of course we'll
02:05keep you updated on our social media on Twitter and Facebook as the day goes on and have a great Thursday.
