00:04bringing you some of our headlines today. First of all, we have a story about a woman
00:09who left another woman scarred for life after an attack with a glass, which left her with
00:14horrific injuries. The woman is actually now being jailed. Sammy Joe Medley, aged 35, pleaded
00:21guilty to an offence of unlawful wounding following the attack, which took place back
00:26in August 2022, and that was in Bartree. You can read the full story on the website
00:33this morning. Then next up, good news, we have a popular Doncaster Children's Play
00:43Park is set for a massive makeover after a grant of nearly £100,000 come from the National
00:49Lottery. The park in question is Thorn Memorial Park, so again you can read all about that
00:57and the plans for the park from the Thorn and Moorends Town Council. And then finally,
01:07not a very nice story, officers from Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following
01:13a fatal road traffic collision which took place just down the road from Doncaster there
01:18in Belton on Saturday night. It was a two vehicle collision on the A161, quite a notoriously
01:26bad road, there's been quite a lot of collisions on there. And sadly, following the collision,
01:33a 27-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. So that story is going to be going
