00:00 Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Monday January the 29th.
00:05 Just bringing you some of our headlines from the weekend and also which we'll be hitting today.
00:11 First of all, one that's been proving very popular indeed is our local democracy reporter Shannon
00:18 has put together a timeline of events relating to Doncaster Sheffield Airport since its closure
00:25 and the things that have been happening since then, people involved, ideas that have been drafted
00:32 everything that you need to know from the last couple of years is in that story.
00:37 So if you have a click onto the website and have a read of that, yeah that's done really really well for us over the weekend
00:42 over Saturday and Sunday.
00:45 Then we have some more food hygiene ratings for you.
00:48 We have five that I put up a couple of days ago that are doing really well
00:53 got another one going up first thing this morning, a place that's needing major improvements
00:58 so you can have a read of that as well.
01:00 Then some great news for the hospital.
01:03 There's a launch of a major robotic machine that's being implemented at Doncaster Royal Infirmary
01:12 from the middle of the week which will help with surgeries for cancer patients.
01:19 So you can read all about that, it's a massive investment but it's all come from the hospital's charity
01:26 so that's fantastic news and thank you to them for raising that amount of money because it's very very costly.
01:33 So for those stories and for anything else that's happening in Doncaster just visit our website
01:37 which is www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and I hope you have a great Monday.
