00:00 Good morning everybody, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Thursday May the 2nd.
00:04 Just bringing you some headlines today. First of all, commuters will have been well aware that
00:10 there was some disruption on the train services late yesterday. That was due to a fallen tree
00:17 which had caused some real chaos in and out of Doncaster. So if you're wondering what had
00:25 happened there, that's the problem. You can read about that today. Then we have some wonderful news.
00:31 One of our city nurseries, it was graded as inadequate by Ofsted but it has since been
00:39 revisited and has received a good rating which is wonderful news and testament to the staff and
00:46 leaders there who have pulled out all the stops to improve the facilities for the children that
00:53 attend. And then lastly, we've had a long-awaited court round-up coming to you. We've had very few
01:00 convictions at Doncaster Magistrates Court recently, hence the reason you're not getting your
01:04 regular round-ups, but I've managed to put one together and that will be going online in the next
01:10 10-15 minutes, so keep an eye out for that. So for those stories and for anything else that's
01:15 happening in Doncaster today, just visit the website www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and of
01:23 course Facebook and X. And I hope you have an enjoyable Thursday.
