00:00:46we are on TNT for two full red hot hours of the best in World Championship Wrestling.

00:00:53Welcome to our number one, along with the living legend, Larry Sabisco.

00:00:56I am Tony Schiavone.

00:00:58When we left you at the end of our number two a week ago, Larry,

00:01:02it all had broken down for Miss Elizabeth and the Macho Man, Randy Savage.

00:01:06Now less than two weeks away from Slim Jim's Halloween Havoc,

00:01:10the Macho Man has his problems, but so does Miss Elizabeth.

00:01:13Unfortunately, Macho Man's problems are our problems.

00:01:18If Miss Elizabeth really cares about Randy Savage,

00:01:22she will stay out of his life.

00:01:25All she's doing is turning him into an emotional vegetable.

00:01:29Let's take a look last week, end of the program, WCW Monday Nitro.

00:01:33Well, as you can see,

00:01:38Hulk Hogan, leg drop of the Macho Man,

00:01:44Randy Savage, physically being held there by the giant,

00:01:49the NWO at their lowest point, I think,

00:01:52since they started these brutal attacks back in the month of May.

00:01:55Well, it's appalling.

00:01:56I mean, it's appalling.

00:01:58Miss Elizabeth started this whole thing.

00:02:00Savage is not focused.

00:02:02And look at the result.

00:02:04The Holy Grail is the responsibility of Randy Savage to retain from Hulk Hogan.

00:02:10And look at the condition that he's in.

00:02:12Randy Savage, the Macho Man, is here tonight.

00:02:15We have two tremendous hours of the best in pro wrestling,

00:02:18world championship wrestling, as we head to Slim Jim's Halloween Havoc.

00:02:22The NWO fans are out, as you can see right now.

00:02:26They are making their way through the stands.

00:02:28The NWO has their own segment in a television program that occurred this

00:02:32just past weekend.

00:02:33We'll be talking more about that as we go to the ring this week on Nitro.

00:02:38Ladies and gentlemen, the first match live on Nitro is a one fall contest.

00:02:43Introducing first, from Tampa, Florida,

00:02:47the man of 1,000 holds, Dean Malenko.

00:02:51Should be a great matchup as we open up WCW Monday Night.

00:02:54So you see he still has the mask of WCW Cruiserweight Champion,

00:02:59Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:03:01But in this match tonight,

00:03:02Dean Armstrong will face a man that he has beaten once before, Trent Armstrong.

00:03:07As a matter of fact, it occurred on WCW Saturday Night recently,

00:03:12when Dean got the best of Brad Armstrong, so these two know each other quite well.

00:03:17But it was a victory also by Brad Armstrong, so this is an even-steven contest.

00:03:23Again, good game of human chess.

00:03:25Who's gonna make the first mistake?

00:03:27But Malenko, he is a focused individual.

00:03:30Unlike Savage, Malenko knows his purpose.

00:03:34His opponent, from Marietta, Georgia, Brad Armstrong.

00:03:40Brad Armstrong making his way out.

00:03:44This is a big Cruiserweight matchup between two of his top contenders.

00:03:49Dean Malenko told me, and I was standing right there a couple of weeks ago,

00:03:53when he stole the mask away from Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:03:56All right, here's Brad Armstrong,

00:04:01Dean Malenko, from where Brad Armstrong

00:04:07got the best of Dean.

00:04:10A roll up, one, two, three.

00:04:17And it was very controversial ending there, but Brad Armstrong gets his hand

00:04:22raised as he had the shoulder up before the one, two, three.

00:04:29Well, that's my point.

00:04:29Now, either of these guys, they can beat anybody any given day.

00:04:34A wrestling match only three seconds away from being over.

00:04:38Armstrong, very good.

00:04:39Malenko, a little better on the match.

00:04:41So if I was Brad, I would keep moving, try to start some moving,

00:04:45get Malenko off balance.

00:04:47Don't let Malenko get you on the canvas.

00:04:50He has the mask of Rey Mysterio.

00:04:52He says, Rey, if you want it, come to Slim Jim's Halloween Havoc at the MGM Grand

00:04:57Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

00:05:02You can see the rowdy NWO crowd is here tonight, disrupting things.

00:05:07But it's not the crowd that concerns me, it's the members of the NWO themselves.

00:05:14We said the Macho Man Randy Savage was here, and he is here.

00:05:18Later on in this telecast, we understand Eddie Guerrero, Jeff Jarrett,

00:05:23Big Bubba, one on one, Face of the Fear, Harlem Heat in a non-title match.

00:05:28Did you see the face of Nick Patrick?

00:05:30Here's a guy in pain that is still out there doing his duty.

00:05:35One, I'm not so sure that he is really in pain.

00:05:42Look at him.

00:05:44Well, have you noticed that sometimes on Saturday night,

00:05:48we see him with the neck brace.

00:05:50Sometimes on Saturday night, we see him without the neck brace.

00:05:54On WCW Pro Wrestling, the same thing.

00:05:57He said some days he feels better than others.

00:05:59If he really is in need of doctor's care, number one, he wouldn't be in the ring.

00:06:03Number two, he would consistently keep the neck brace on.

00:06:07Just my opinion there.

00:06:10It's hard to move in the neck brace.

00:06:11Yeah, I know.

00:06:12Here's the reversal.

00:06:16He sure did, could have had a disqualification there.

00:06:18Brad Armstrong trying to get a clean break, but

00:06:22Dean Malenko, the man of a thousand holds, moves, whatever, has him on the ropes now.

00:06:28Took the advantage, sends Brad in, and he arm drags him down,

00:06:32nicely done, drop kick right in the face from Brad Armstrong.

00:06:35He tried to get the offense mounted.

00:06:37Malenko, he stepped outside the ring, he cut it off.

00:06:41Again, Armstrong boys, all of them, very traditional wrestlers, and

00:06:45that's good in one sense, but you've got to be spontaneous.

00:06:50I mean, you've got to have spontaneity.

00:06:52You know the word I mean.

00:06:53I know exactly what you mean.

00:06:54It's a big word.

00:06:55It's a big one.

00:06:56Sometimes they're- There's a drop kick by Malenko.

00:07:03Well, I'm trying to concentrate.

00:07:04We got 50 idiots with this New World Order toilet paper stapled to little cardboard.

00:07:12Well, I tell you, they are very vocal.

00:07:20What concerns me, one, was what we saw at the end of the program last week,

00:07:25when not only did they brutally attack the Macho Man,

00:07:28they forced Miss Elizabeth to watch.

00:07:31Hogan said, you are mine.

00:07:33Your body, your mind is mine, is what he said.

00:07:36And then they took the monster truck, their own monster truck, and

00:07:39tried to crush our Nitro set at hour number two.

00:07:43That's what concerns me.

00:07:45Master chess playing by Hogan and Dibiase.

00:07:50They're fooling everybody.

00:07:52Let me give some legendary wisdom here, Tony.

00:07:55The greatest fool of all is the man who fools himself.

00:08:02Sting and Savage heed those words.

00:08:06You're talking about a man missing in action ever since the day after Fall Brawl.

00:08:11Back on the 16th of September, there has been no Sting.

00:13:01He takes out the tape.

00:13:03Now, earlier in the match, he had taken tape away from Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

00:13:09He had another roll in there.

00:13:10Right hand.

00:13:11Down goes Wallstreet.

00:13:13And one, two, three, Nick Patrick makes the count.

00:13:17But then watch him reverse the decision here.

00:13:20He sees the tape.

00:13:22He reversed the decision and gives the win to Mr. Wallstreet.

00:13:28And he went by the book.

00:13:31When he saw the tape, it's a foreign object.

00:14:52I think it's pretty obvious what's going on here.

00:56:38It's one of those situations that has actually

00:56:40gone past just the wrestling ring

00:56:42and has turned into a fight with the family,

00:56:44the Guerrero family, both Eddie and Chavo Jr.,

00:56:47battling with DDP.

00:56:49And that's clearly one of the strategies

00:56:51that Diamond Dallas Page initiated,

00:56:53is to go after the family,

00:56:54because he knows how strong and how tight

01:02:16wants to make an example out of hometown boy here, Jeff Jarrett.

01:02:21Well, this should be a great matchup.

01:02:23Make no mistake about it, there's still a lot going on here.

01:02:31We saw a little bit of them out here as if they're stalking the place,

01:03:41He doesn't want to see Hogan and the rest of the bums and the NWO disgraces.

01:03:45That's why he says he's here at WCW.

01:03:47I think like a lot of people out there,

01:03:49Jeff Jarrett has taken exception to Hulk Hogan.

01:03:52Hulk Hogan claiming that if it wasn't for him,

01:03:54ooh, did you see that right hand?

01:03:56If it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, the wrestling industry wouldn't exist.

01:04:00That he put the WWE on the map,

01:04:02which he should be put in prison for, by the way.

01:04:06That he made the AWA, which I find is highly, highly arguable.

01:04:11That he, if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan,

01:04:15that Jerry Jarrett, Jeff's father would have never existed

01:04:18as a regional wrestling promoter.

01:04:20He took a lot of exception to that.

01:04:22And he came out here and articulated it.

01:04:24If you listen to Hogan long enough,

01:04:26he'll tell you he invented penicillin too.

01:04:28That doesn't mean he did.

01:04:29He's got a lot of talk and a lot of lip.

01:04:41but the fact that they have stolen the United States Championship
