00:00 These might just be the kind of collectibles you want to keep locked
00:03 away in a case. Here's a look at the brand new neck of toys. Puppet Master,
00:06 Ultimate Six Shooter and Jester.

00:45 NECA is proud to present the Ultimate Six Shooter and Jester 2 pack from the
00:48 cult movie series Puppet Master. Each figure stands approximately 4.25
00:51 inches tall representing the classic look of each puppet with accessories
00:55 themed to the characters appearance in the franchise. Six Shooter includes
00:58 removable hat and bandana, interchangeable hands and six revolvers.
01:01 Jester includes removable fool's hat, scepter, tenderizer, scalpel,
01:05 interchangeable expressions and hands. Comes in a window box packaging
01:09 replicating Andre Toulon's puppet case. So it seems now a box of little toys has
01:14 become a gang of little terrors. Just before of course we get a closer look
01:17 the Puppet Master, Ultimate Six Shooter and Jester, I'd like to thank the folks
01:20 over at NECA toys that did provide this sample we could have a look at. The
01:24 figure set is available right now online or in stores if you'd like to get this
01:27 set and continue on the Puppet Master figures having already gotten two sets
01:30 so far. Jester is going to be the smallest of the two taking the tape measure
01:34 right to the top of his head. He's actually not quite four inches in height.
01:37 He's actually only about 3.75 or about three and three quarters. That translates
01:42 to a figure that's about nine and a half centimeters tall. Six Shooter
01:45 definitely has not only more arms but a lot more height. He's actually four and a
01:49 half inches in height where the figure is about ten and a half centimeters tall.
01:53 Marking now the third set of Puppet Master figures we've gotten from NECA. We
01:57 did get already a set and they're generally packed in twos. So the first
02:01 set for example came in clue with both Blade and Torch. Blade being one of my
02:04 all-time favorite Puppet Master figures. And then we also got ourselves a set
02:08 where I had Pinhead. Not related to of course the Cenobites. He always seems to
02:12 be the smallest and hardest figure to stand. We also got as well with that
02:16 Tunneler. Tunneler is a great-looking figure as well. And because these are also
02:20 supposed to be based on dolls which will also explain why they're so small to
02:24 give you an idea as well of how that stacks up with a other killer doll.
02:27 Here's what the figure looks like with the TV series Chucky. Let me tell you it
02:30 took a lot of time to get everything out of the package. Not as much for Jester
02:34 but a lot more for Six Shooter. Essentially every one of his accessories
02:37 is times six. When we look at his accessories for example I'll show you
02:41 one of them and it's basically just rinse and repeat for those. But I think
02:44 what we'll do first is we'll look at Jester. He's actually one of my favorite
02:48 characters from Puppet Master as well. He's not as high say as Blade. I really
02:51 like the idea and the design though of Jester. So for his accessories for example
02:56 he comes in clue with a tiny little scalpel. And it's really small. The
03:00 scalpel and for that matter really all the accessories that come in clue with
03:02 these figures are so tiny. If you're not careful you'll definitely lose them.
03:06 There is a little lip right here that I don't think belongs anywhere. I could be
03:10 completely wrong. I'm looking at for example Jester and I don't see a section
03:14 for example that this would plug in place. I'm thinking that little lip of
03:17 plastic is just there specifically for the way it's designed. But the scalpel
03:20 does fit into his hand. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time to say
03:23 scalpel. It does fit in his hand and it fits in fairly well. Probably one of the
03:27 reasons maybe they added that little lip so that it sits actually on his pointer
03:31 finger. Yes his fool's hat falls off frequently and even then just getting it
03:35 back onto his head seems to be a hard thing. The figure also comes in clue with
03:39 this tenderizer. All of these by the way are things that we see in the movie. The
03:42 tenderizer nicely done here in silver. Some nice additional red that they've
03:46 added there as well. I don't know for the size of this you'd have to be pretty
03:49 close quarters I would feel to Jester for this to have inflict any damage on
03:53 you. Again it's pretty small but again it fits into his hand. The last thing he
03:57 also comes included with is a scepter. It's my favorite of the accessories as it
04:01 does have you can see there's a little face there on the front and a little
04:04 face on the back sort of like the plays. There's a smile on the one side and the
04:08 frowning face on the other. These again aren't sharp but you would imagine in
04:12 the film these would again inflict some pretty damaging damage. These again will
04:16 fit into his hand as well. Speaking of hands though, Jester also comes included
04:20 with a couple of gripping hands. Again these are so tiny I would not want to
04:25 jinx myself but I know for something so small like this I know it would just end
04:28 up onto the floor somewhere. Luckily though with the hands that he has at
04:31 least this hand here I don't really even have to change anything else. He does
04:35 though have a relaxed hand on the other side so if I do decide that for example
04:39 I want to have the figure displayed holding more than one accessory I might
04:42 just end up popping the hand off the form and replacing with this gripping
04:45 hand instead. Look how tiny that is. So so very small. The other thing that Jester
04:51 also has is one of his notable characteristics. In the movie though if
04:54 you are familiar with the Puppet Master series maybe if you're not it's probably
04:57 a better explanation I could give you. With Jester the neat thing about him is
05:01 that he rotates his face. So if you can see for example I'm just gonna remove
05:05 his fool's hat for a second. If you look at his face see how it looks like it's
05:09 in three parts. Now naked for the for the size of the figure would just be
05:12 impossible for them to be able to replicate that same idea but the idea
05:15 obviously is that it would rotate so the top the middle and then the bottom would
05:19 rotate separately and they'd form different faces from that. I mean if you
05:23 look at the back of it it's somewhat unrealistic that he'd be able to form
05:26 different faces but the idea is it would rotate and he would just alternate those
05:29 three sides those three parts and change his face that way. What they've done
05:33 instead is they've essentially given us three different heads to work with. I
05:36 started things first with the frowning face but he does also come included with
05:40 a surprised face and if I can hold everything while I'm doing this he also
05:45 comes included with a smiling face. Now I prefer myself the smiling face. You may
05:50 choose for yourself I kind of started things off with more the frowning face
05:53 I'm not really even sure why but the faces all three of them are nicely
05:56 painted. I do like the way they've airbrushed the areas around the eyes for
06:00 example the eyes really do pop on this figure and again three completely
06:03 different expressions. It's not they're simply just packing in unnecessary head
06:07 sculpts that have very similar faces all the faces from Jester are all very
06:11 unique from one another. To change out the face is just a case didn't mean to
06:15 rhyme there just gonna pop the head off the provided post find the head that we
06:18 want to then use and that just plugs in place. You just want to make sure it's
06:22 securely snapped in place. Then you can take yourself the fool's hat which is
06:25 right over here and the fool's hat has three sides to it but you kind of want
06:29 to go with the side that's the most open and that basically just fits over top. I
06:32 don't know if it would survive it does survive the blizzard test so you can tip
06:37 it upside down not that you really want to be doing that with your figures but
06:39 you can tip it upside down it doesn't look like the fool's hat is gonna be
06:42 going anywhere. The Jester's hat colors on this guy is fantastic not only did
06:46 they do a really good job on the face but all the things below the face work
06:49 really well like for example he's got the Harley Quinn style of outfit where
06:52 it's got triangular shapes here you can see there's some purple and black those
06:56 are all panel lined nicely there in gold. He's also got of course a couple of
07:01 bells there on the bottoms of his hat again you want to make sure the hat
07:03 securely on there. It's a nice color of additional red there and he's got again
07:07 that little playwright face down below around the area of his belt so nice
07:11 little decorative details of the gold down below and again some really bright
07:14 looking boots there also nicely done in gold. None of these figures by the way
07:18 and that's earlier figures also don't have pegs on the bottoms of their feet.
07:21 If you look at them though there almost seems to be indentations where the heels
07:25 would be well where the heels are right now where it would almost give you the
07:28 suggested idea that peg holes were originally on these figures and they
07:32 decided not to put them. So you know there's a little bit of indentation I
07:34 might just be looking into this and seeing more than what's actually there
07:37 because you can kind of also even make the argument there's a little bit of
07:40 indentation there on the top but it does almost in a way look like there's peg
07:43 holes that were originally belonging on these figures and they just never ended
07:47 up getting them. Either way though the figure does have for articulation a ball
07:50 joint in the head so it does rotate the head all the way around just make sure
07:53 of course you don't lose the hat in the process. The shoulders are on hinge
07:56 joints so you can hinge them out almost at 90 degrees. The arms do allow the
07:59 rotation all the way around. As you're doing this though with Jester you might
08:03 find yourself frequently knocking off the fool's hat. You won't be a fool as
08:07 long as you pick up the hat and put it back on the figure where it belongs. The
08:10 figure does have surprisingly a double hinge and it's not a hinge where it's
08:14 so close quarters. There's a hinge right here and there's a hinge right here.
08:17 Between those two Jester has a surprising level of articulation to him.
08:21 You can also rotate the hands back and forth. The upper torso is on a ball joint
08:26 and even on a ball joint what the torso actually is, I almost even lost the hat,
08:29 it's actually just below the belt. That's where the point is actually so it
08:33 rotates all the way around. Legs split out they're on ball joints you could take
08:36 the legs and move forward move them back. It's a little bit of a mild swivel just
08:40 a very little bit at the top of the thigh. Single hinge on the knee allows
08:43 the lower leg to rotate. You also have a rotation there in the boots and you can
08:47 also move the feet back and forth. There seems to be maybe just a little bit of
08:50 ankle pivot but enough that the figure at least surprisingly enough stands
08:54 pretty good. I say that now, will he actually be able to stand? I do kind of
08:58 think in a way that while all of these Puppet Master figures have been really
09:02 good, just with the size of them they're way really too small. I feel like they're
09:05 especially when it comes to like Pinhead. Pinhead was the one that really had the
09:09 hardest time to stand and even in that review I think I have real nightmare to
09:12 get that figure stand. I really feel like I should go back and re-review these
09:15 figures. Would you guys like to see that? Let me know down below in the comment
09:18 section. In the meantime though let's look at the multitude of things that
09:22 come included with Ultimate Six Shooter because again like he's got six arms he
09:25 essentially has one accessory times six. So the hands for example were one things
09:30 in fact I actually had to swap out. Let me just make sure that I've got the
09:34 facing thumbs go in. All of these hands that you're seeing right now were all
09:37 hands I had to remove from each of the individual forearms and I thought to
09:41 myself to get that going at the beginning of the review with him holding
09:44 all his pistols there was no way there was no way I was gonna default them
09:47 back just to simply show you guys that he does have trigger firing finger
09:51 hands. No I'm just gonna leave them off. So he does have relaxed hands. I've
09:54 already taken the liberty of removing that times six. Then of course that's on
09:59 both sides too. So I guess he has one set of three on this side and then of
10:02 course the alternate because it's mirror flip would have it on the other side as
10:05 well. The figure also then has gripping hands which again I'm a little confused
10:09 as to why they would have given him gripping hands. I mean I guess they would
10:12 be there as well to hold the revolvers but considering he already has these
10:16 hands designated for holding the triggers I don't know why they would
10:19 have then chose to give him extra hands like this. Again you just pop pop pop pop
10:24 pop remove them all off and then just swap them off accordingly. The last thing
10:28 that the figure comes included with is a revolver and to show you one I would be
10:31 essentially showing you all of them just to show you that they are exactly the
10:35 same to one another. They haven't thrown in slightly distorted or slightly
10:39 different revolvers. Can you see them? There you go.
10:42 Yes you get six of these. Six shooter after all. He can't be six shooter and only
10:47 have like four guns. Then he would only be four shooter. Anyways the figure does
10:52 have again like the gripping hands or the trigger firing hands. I've already
10:55 taken these all off. I've taken off all the relaxed hands and replaced them all
10:58 with these. That took a lot of time. He does also have not only the storage
11:02 space obviously with his hands to store the revolvers so if you want to have the
11:06 figure displayed with him like that. It's likely going to be the way I'm going to be
11:09 doing it myself. But revolver six shooter does have spaces for his revolvers as he
11:15 does have four in the front and he has two holsters on the back. Any one of
11:19 these all six of these will have the available means to store the revolvers.
11:23 Again if you would only choose to have the figure with maybe say one revolver
11:28 in his hand or maybe two on the top for example leave the other two for doing
11:31 other things mischief wise then you could just take the other revolvers that
11:35 you're not currently using holster them, holster them, holster them. You know again
11:38 times six. Getting a closer look at the figure one of the things
11:42 unfortunately though is his hat fell off. It doesn't happen too often but then
11:45 when it does it does give you unfortunately one painful reminder. Let
11:48 me just move everything out of the way before we talk about painful reminders.
11:51 Head sculpts looking really good on this guy. Unfortunately though whenever you
11:55 have the hat falling off I noticed this right away. I've got a little stain right
11:59 there. You see that? Looks like he's got a bruise on the top of his head.
12:02 Likely what ended up happening was the figure came out of the packaging with
12:06 the hat already on him and probably with the heat I would imagine this guy being
12:09 shipped a little bit of the stain of the black from inside his rim ended up
12:13 ending up on top of his forehead. You can see it's left the stain behind. I'm never
12:17 really gonna have the figure displayed really honestly without his cowboy hat
12:20 but it's just a shame that unfortunately some of the paint from the hat had to
12:23 find its way onto his head and again with a hat not really staying on
12:27 permanently it's always gonna be something similar to the fool's hat.
12:30 You're not gonna be a fool but you're gonna find yourself probably frequently
12:33 retrieving the hat because it's gonna fall off frequently frequently for a
12:37 six-shooter. The other thing that he does also have is his bandana. Now again you
12:41 can choose to have the bandana in front of his face like this but really though
12:45 you can also drop the bandana down and he's got a sinister smile underneath.
12:51 He hasn't been eating corn. Those seem to be gold teeth that he has on the side
12:55 but I just love the idea that they actually did sculpt the face underneath.
12:57 If you choose you would like to have the bandana down at least there's something
13:01 rather interesting to look at for the figure or again if you want to have that
13:04 up you don't really have to move the back of the bandana up at all. It's
13:07 basically just gonna shimmy this up the front of his face. Luckily though he
13:12 doesn't have any of the stain of the front of his face like he does have on
13:14 for the hat but basically you're just gonna bring it up until finally hits the
13:17 top of his nose. I guess the front of his nose and then that's gonna stay in place
13:21 and it's not really gonna be going anywhere. Nice paintwork done here on the
13:24 vest. It's generally all white body but the vest does bring a little bit of
13:27 necessary brown. The holsters by the way are all very thin and plastic so
13:32 while we are looking at the articulation and even moving forward getting this guy
13:35 on the shelf to be careful with these because the plastic being so thin like
13:39 this these could be potentially broken. Again all the arms are gonna have the
13:42 same shared level of articulation. One thing I was really kind of impressed to
13:46 see is that even the opening of his shirt where like basically his sleeves
13:49 would be buttoned up they actually painted underneath it black to replicate
13:53 the idea that he would have gloves and he'd be wearing the gloves over top. I
13:56 guess he would button the sleeves over top of the gloves or I guess he would
14:00 just kind of tuck the gloves inside the sleeves. I don't really know. Nice work
14:04 done on the denim jeans there as well. You can see he's got still several bit
14:07 of ammunition still to work with and that basically is nicely painted there
14:11 with the gold all the way around the area of his belt. Cowboy boots are nicely
14:14 done there as well with some spurs there on the back. It's a nice-looking figure.
14:18 Not that any one of these have been better sets than before but being a big
14:22 fan of Jester and being a big fan of Six Shooter I really think that they went
14:26 all out when it came to this figure release. Now for the figures articulation
14:29 essentially again we're gonna get it kind of the same thing as what we got
14:32 with Jester but then we're gonna rinse and repeat the same level of
14:35 articulation with each of the individual arms. So like for example Six Shooter's
14:39 head is gonna be once again on that same ball joint. It's gonna move back and
14:42 forth up down you can also rock it back and forth there also as well. You may
14:46 want to just hold on to the hat so it doesn't fall off and onto the floor and
14:49 then each of the shoulders each of these follow them along with me are on hinge
14:53 joints so they move up and they move down and you can kind of move them back
14:57 and forth. They seem like they're a little bit more limited you can also
14:59 hinge them this way as well and then each of the individual elbows where say
15:03 Jester would have had a double hinge because of course there's so much more
15:06 plastic going into Six Shooter he kind of loses a little bit when it comes to
15:10 the articulation so he only has really single hinge joints of poseability and
15:14 each one of those possess and hinging a hinge joint where you can actually bend
15:18 the elbow so you can bring the forearms in about that far. You can also as well
15:22 rotate the hands all the way around and then when you get to his waist or where
15:25 you would consider his waist to be up here though I guess where his belly
15:29 button would be because he's got a really long torso he's kind of built
15:31 like a caterpillar. Upper torso is gonna be once again on a ball joint. The lower
15:35 torso seems to be on a maybe a straight swivel you can move that back and forth
15:39 this way maybe there is a little bit of a ball joint happening yeah there's a
15:42 ball joint there there as well. Legs once again are on ball joints you can split
15:46 those out you can bring them forward bring them back a little bit of a mild
15:49 swivel there on the top of the thigh. Single hinge once again only for the
15:52 knee rotates back and forth and then for his feet the only thing I've noticed
15:56 though with Six Shooter just happened right now as you're kind of moving
15:59 around too much you notice that his leg from time to time does pop off. It is
16:03 though on ball joints it's pretty easy in fact pop it pop it back onto the ball
16:07 joints but it does happen a little bit. Ankle pivot does move back and forth
16:10 ankle rocker there also as well. Nice looking figure nice looking figure. I
16:14 wasn't really super thrilled with the idea of having to change out every one
16:17 of his hands just to accommodate all the six of his revolvers but it was well
16:21 worth it it paid off because the figure is gonna be looking fantastic on my
16:24 shelf with each of the revolvers nestled nicely inside of his hands. Then of
16:28 course we can bring back in the other Puppet Master figures we've gotten so
16:31 again there we've got Blade and we got Torch. Blade and Torch was a nice looking
16:35 set as well and then of course we got Pinhead on the other side followed with
16:39 that we also got Tunneler. I think the only one that we're missing right now
16:43 I'm trying to think of the original core characters is it Leech Woman? Leech Woman
16:46 might be the only one that we've got I'm sure there's one other one there's
16:48 probably one that isn't coming to my mind right now that somebody was probably
16:51 gonna be letting me down down below in the comments section know but we've
16:55 gotten ourselves quite a long list quite a nice list of Puppet Master figures so
16:59 far from the folks over at NECA toys. They're obviously small well you know
17:02 again when bringing back in a Chuckie you can kind of see scale wise how big
17:05 those figures gonna be. They're supposed to be dolls they're not gonna be tall
17:08 figures like Michael Myers and they're nicely detailed for the size that they
17:11 are considering really again even though these figures are smaller in size
17:15 they're not a seven inch scale figure they're at least fully articulated so I
17:19 mean you're not you know I don't feel at all like NECA is cheapening the figure
17:22 when it comes to the poseability. They're still as poseable as a larger seven inch
17:26 figure would be. They have tons of accessories I mean Jester has what three
17:30 different head sculpts I mean and then six shooters six shooters got all those
17:34 different guns all those different hands I feel like he might not have needed the
17:37 gripping hands though because having relaxed hands and then also having the
17:41 trigger firing hands I think would be more than enough but NECA decided
17:44 instead just to pack him just tons of extra accessories ton of extra hands I
17:48 guess that really isn't a bad thing at all. One thing I have noticed when it
17:51 comes to the Puppet Master sets from NECA is that they're obviously sold in
17:54 sets. They're sold in packs of two but each one of the sets there's always one
17:57 that I like more than the other. Blade and Torch - gotta give it the Blade.
18:00 Tunneler and Pinhead. Tunneler was my favorite and even though six shooter has
18:04 the more elaborate construction for his body I gotta give it to Jester. Jester is
18:07 still my favorite. A lot of it obviously has to do with the way just liking the
18:10 character in this in the film franchise. He has one of the more favorites gimmicks
18:14 in the sense that his face rotates to give different expressions similar to a
18:17 very evil Rubik's Cube even though really six shooter takes up the majority
18:22 of the space with all of his accessories because everything that he has is
18:25 basically times six well except for his hands obviously he has three pairs of
18:29 interchangeable hands on either side but he has a whole lot of hands that have to
18:32 then change out at the end of it I'm probably just gonna have the figure
18:35 displayed just holding his revolvers but if you get tired with the idea of
18:38 revolvers you can always store them away with his six holsters that he has as
18:42 well I'm a disappointed a little bit the fact that six shooter does have a stain
18:46 on his forehead but it's never gonna be something I'm gonna see anyways even
18:49 though he does have removable hat I'm never gonna be one to ever remove it
18:52 what do you guys think of these let me know down below in the comments section
18:54 and then of the puppet master sets that we've gotten each of the two packs which
18:58 one has been your favorite let me know down below in the comments section as it
19:02 goes certainly for availability six shooter and Jester is available right
19:05 now in stores or online although I have noticed some of the online sites have
19:09 sold out of this set so if you are still interested to get it you might want to
19:12 try to track one down fast if you guys did enjoy this video I want to throw it
19:16 a like if you guys are loving the content you guys are seeing and want to
19:18 stick around for more we are gonna be doing some more NECA reviews so if
19:22 that's kind of thing you guys would like to see and in the meantime if you want
19:24 to see more popping up the very end of this video will be playlist of everything
19:28 I've covered for NECA in the past the present and in the future even though
19:32 the future hasn't happened yet but definitely gonna be a lot more videos
19:34 coming your way guys as always thanks for watching see you guys next time
19:40 you
19:42 you
