00:00 Hello there. It's been exceptionally mild lately. We've had the warmest Valentines on
00:10 Wednesday since 1988 and on Thursday daytime highs nearly doubled that for the average
00:16 for the time of year. So we normally see around 8 degrees Celsius for the average for February
00:21 and we saw up to 16 degrees Celsius in southern England on Thursday. So it is exceptionally
00:26 mild indeed. It'll be another mild day on Friday with some early outbreaks of rain across
00:32 the south-east which will soon clear to reveal periods of sunshine and there is a threat
00:35 of showers which will be mostly in the north and west. We'll have some early bright spells
00:40 then on Saturday but cloud cover will soon thicken during the day and an occluded front
00:44 will bring patchy outbreaks of rain across western Britain. Behind that a warm front
00:49 will bring some heavy rain to Northern Ireland during the afternoon before pushing eastwards
00:53 and southwards on Saturday evening and Saturday night bringing widespread rain which will
00:57 be heavy at times. On Sunday this rain may be slow to clear for some of us but it'll
01:02 be drier and brighter during the afternoon with some sunny spells.
