00:32 - Hi there, and welcome to Latest TV News.
00:34 My name is Sam Wharton, and today we're looking back
00:36 at Brighton's fairytale win over European giant Ajax
00:39 in Amsterdam in what was a historic week
00:41 in the history of the Sussex Football Club.
00:44 I was there with Jacob Hannens to cover
00:46 the momentous occasion and spoke to Albion fans
00:48 as they made their presence felt in the Dutch capital.
00:51 With me later on is Sussex journalist
00:53 and Brighton fan, Henry Bryant,
00:54 to talk about what the occasion meant for him
00:56 and the club as a whole.
00:58 We will also reflect on the frustrating 1-1 draw
01:01 against Sheffield United on Sunday,
01:03 which came amid an injury crisis
01:04 ahead of the international break.
01:07 First, here are the top stories from across the county.
01:10 Ikea is said to open its first ever store in Sussex.
01:13 Inca Centres has this week announced
01:15 a freehold acquisition of Brighton's main shopping centre,
01:18 Churchill Square.
01:19 With the acquisition complete, Ikea UK confirms its plans
01:22 to bring a brand new Ikea City store to the site.
01:26 It will be the 23rd Ikea store in the UK.
01:29 Peter Jelkeve, CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer
01:32 at Ikea UK said, "We're delighted to continue expanding
01:35 "and investing throughout the UK to make it easier
01:38 "and more sustainable for people to shop at Ikea."
01:41 Sussex has long been an area of interest to us
01:44 and we've really looked forward to bringing Ikea closer
01:46 to where our customers live, work and socialise
01:49 and becoming a part of this vibrant community.
01:52 Ikea previously had plans for a store in Sussex,
01:55 but it announced it would no longer progress
01:57 with the planned development.
01:59 It was planned at Newmont's Farm off the A27 at Lansing
02:02 and they intended to sell the land.
02:04 The new Ikea City store will open on the site
02:06 of the former Debenhams and marks the latest phase
02:09 of the retailer's ongoing omni-channel transformation.
02:12 Two people have been taken to hospital
02:14 with life-threatening injuries following a crash
02:16 in an East Sussex village.
02:18 The crash happened on the A22 in Golden Cross
02:21 at 10.30am on Sunday, November the 12th.
02:24 Two cars were involved in the collision,
02:25 leading to the A22 to be closed both ways
02:28 for a number of hours following the incident.
02:31 Air ambulances landed at the scene
02:32 during a large emergency response.
02:35 In a statement, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said,
02:37 "A 44-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman
02:40 "were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
02:42 "Anyone who witnessed the collision
02:44 "or has any dashcam footage is asked
02:45 "to contact Sussex Police online
02:47 "or by calling 101, quoting Operation Dalton."
02:50 Hundreds of residents came out in force
02:52 across the county over the weekend
02:53 to take part in Remembrance Day services.
02:56 The War Memorial in Eastbourne Town Centre
02:58 was the backdrop for Sunday's event,
02:59 which is traditionally attended
03:01 by hundreds of residents and visitors.
03:04 Representatives from the military, ex-service personnel,
03:07 emergency services and other organisations
03:09 led a parade through the town centre
03:11 from Terminus Road to the War Memorial.
03:13 Civic dignitaries, including the Mayor of Eastbourne
03:15 and the town's MP, Caroline Antle,
03:18 led a parade from Eastbourne Town Hall
03:19 towards the War Memorial, where the service began.
03:22 The thanksgiving service was accompanied by musicians
03:25 from Eastbourne's Citadel Salvation Army Band
03:27 and the Scottish Pipe Band,
03:29 and included a two-minute silence at 11am
03:31 and the official wreath laying.
03:33 Meanwhile in Hastings, veterans took part
03:35 in a civic parade from the town hall to Alexandra Park,
03:37 where standards were presented
03:39 and wreaths laid at the War Memorial.
03:41 The lights in Bottle Alley on the seafront
03:43 were turned red in honour of Remembrance Day.
03:45 A cannabis farm was discovered after a large fire
03:47 in a rural building in East Sussex.
03:50 Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze
03:51 late last Friday night, which ravaged an outbuilding
03:54 at the property in Netherfield near Battle.
03:57 Following an investigation, police confirmed
03:59 that fire crews had discovered a suspected cannabis farm.
04:02 In a statement, a Sussex Police spokesperson said,
04:04 "Officers were called to Darwell Hill
04:06 "at just before 8pm on Friday, November 10th,
04:09 "following the discovery of cannabis plants
04:10 "and associated cultivation."
04:13 No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
04:15 Anyone with information is asked to report online
04:17 or call 101, quote in serial 1221 of the 10th of November.
04:22 Alternatively, you can contact
04:23 the independent charity Crimestoppers online
04:26 or 0800 555 111.
04:29 Finally, two Sussex towns have been ranked
04:32 among the 10 most populous places
04:33 for a staycation this winter.
04:35 Hastings came in ninth and Eastbourne 10th in the new study.
04:39 It comes as more and more people are choosing
04:40 to stay in the UK for their holidays
04:42 as the cost of living crisis bites.
04:44 The research commissioned by the credit card company,
04:47 Aqua, and now analyzed Google search data,
04:50 hotel prices and TikTok views to create the rankings.
04:53 Hastings and Eastbourne both averaged
04:55 around 30,000 monthly Google searches.
04:58 With me now is Sussex journalist
05:00 and Brighton fan, Henry Bryant.
05:01 Henry, how amazing was Brighton's win in Amsterdam last week?
05:05 - Oh, it was absolutely amazing to watch it on the telly.
05:08 You could just see that we were playing with the confidence
05:11 against a top quality side like IACS
05:14 and yeah, just the passing, the moves
05:18 and just the way that we would be able to connect in attack
05:23 and just have that almost ferocity
05:25 that you've not really ever seen from a Brighton side,
05:28 you know, for ages.
05:30 And now we've got it this season and last
05:32 and just deserby ball in action is great to see.
05:36 It really is.
05:37 I really, really am enjoying being a Brighton fan right now.
05:40 You've got a Dhingra that is just bossing it on the wing
05:44 at the moment.
05:45 And the fact that he's only just come in,
05:48 we first got a glimpse of him in the summer series
05:50 in the Premier League early, just before the season started.
05:54 And for him to now be scoring goals in Europe
05:57 is absolutely amazing.
05:58 - Yeah, but it must be so surreal as a fan of the club,
06:01 kind of the way they're performing
06:02 in the competitions they're playing in.
06:04 It must be crazy.
06:06 And to go to one of the biggest clubs in Europe
06:09 in IACS and win two nil twice in a row is incredible really.
06:13 And how do you kind of see that as a fan?
06:15 - As a fan, it's just surreal.
06:17 It really is surreal.
06:18 And I've got friends that I've been messaging
06:21 that were up there saying, "Oh yeah, this was quality."
06:23 Sending me videos of all the Brighton fans.
06:27 And it's just incredible and lovely
06:31 to see the sort of style of play
06:33 that we've always wanted on the South Coast
06:35 being put out to Europe and slowly establishing ourselves
06:39 as one of those top clubs.
06:42 And yeah, it just is unbelievable.
06:45 I went to all the home games last season and this season
06:50 with my brother and my dad.
06:52 And also we've been going in the championship a lot.
06:55 So it's, yeah, as a Brighton fan, it's just crazy.
06:58 - Yeah, and what kind of, you mentioned obviously Idinga,
07:01 any other players that you've been really impressed by
07:03 so far this season that have maybe surprised you?
07:05 - Absolutely, I think Jal Pedro, the fact that he's come in,
07:08 he's now the top goal scorer in the Europa League
07:11 as it currently stands is just a credit to his confidence.
07:15 He's a 21 year old, if I'm not mistaken.
07:18 And just to be having that level of confidence
07:22 to also be performing on a European stage,
07:26 having played for Watford last season
07:29 is something that is incredible and really nice
07:32 to see that players that have been signed this summer
07:35 are coming in, adapting well,
07:37 and kind of making a difference in games when we need them.
07:40 - And how far can Brighton go in the Europa League?
07:42 Do you see progression to the knockout rounds
07:43 as a realistic aim after the back-to-back wins over Ajax?
07:47 - Well, I'm smiling because I really think we can win it.
07:49 I really think we can win it.
07:51 And I think that despite some of our league performances
07:55 as of recent, I think that the performances
07:58 that we've been putting out,
08:00 especially after the first game in Europe against Athens
08:03 where we lost, I think to bounce back
08:05 and to have our confidence, our swagger,
08:07 our style of play back in the team
08:09 is something that is clearly visible.
08:12 And I think if we keep that,
08:14 then we've got a very good chance
08:16 of taking home some silverware.
08:18 - Amazing.
08:19 Obviously the league form hasn't been the best
08:20 at the moment, with six games without a win
08:22 after the game against Sheffield.
08:23 What do you put that down to?
08:24 Such good form in the league, sorry, in the Europa League,
08:27 but not being able to replicate that
08:28 in the Premier League at the moment.
08:30 - Well, I think that there's a little bit of tiredness
08:32 at the moment, especially with the squad we've got
08:35 with injuries as well.
08:36 You've got the likes of Estupinan
08:37 that we haven't seen for a long time.
08:39 And he was such a key player for us last season.
08:43 And the fact that we've been missing him
08:45 has maybe made us a little leaky in defence.
08:47 You've got players like Van Gecke
08:49 that have been doing really well
08:51 kind of as a backup sometimes
08:53 when Lewis Dunk's been injured and unable to play.
08:56 And I think that he's developing
08:57 into the role really, really well.
08:59 But I think it is just down to the fact
09:02 that we're quite a tired squad right now
09:04 with a few injuries.
09:06 No discredit to the lads.
09:07 They're clearly putting in performances.
09:10 What you can see as well,
09:12 especially with the Sheffield United game,
09:13 the most recent game,
09:15 is a intensity that got us to score our first goal.
09:19 And then seeing that sort of wane.
09:21 And as soon as we got a red card in that game,
09:24 I think that it looked like Sheffield United's
09:26 to win instantly.
09:28 And tiredness, frustration showed.
09:31 And I think it's just a fact that we need to
09:34 kind of get those players back as soon as possible
09:37 that are injured and try and kind of keep our consistency
09:41 and intensity throughout the whole game.
09:43 - Yeah. And you just mentioned, obviously,
09:44 the Sheffield United game.
09:45 Brighton, obviously, an amazing start
09:47 with an amazing goal from Edingre.
09:49 - Oh, it was...
09:50 - What was that goal like to watch as a fan?
09:52 - Oh, it was quality.
09:53 Absolutely quality.
09:54 The pass and move play.
09:56 It was something that you could see Barcelona doing almost
09:59 and think, "Oh, that's a lovely goal."
10:01 - It was always messy like, wasn't it?
10:02 They were kind of weaved in and out of the players.
10:03 - Absolutely.
10:04 And to be doing that at the Amex Stadium
10:06 on the South Coast just kind of provides credit
10:10 to what we are doing here and what we're achieving.
10:13 It's such a shame that that didn't kind of prove
10:16 to give us the whole three points
10:18 that we were looking for,
10:19 looking to try and break that winless streak.
10:22 But I think that it's very promising, very promising indeed.
10:25 And Edingre is someone that has come in
10:27 and just made a big impact on the game.
10:30 - Yeah. And just on that red card, as you say,
10:31 it was a huge turning point in the game
10:33 where Brighton were obviously in control,
10:34 looking to get that second goal to kill the game.
10:36 But then that red card really did change the momentum.
10:39 Do you think that was the right decision, a blatant red card?
10:41 - Well, I had to look back at it.
10:43 VAR'd it myself.
10:45 - Thank you for watching Latest TV News.
10:47 Stay tuned for our video footage from Amsterdam.
11:03 - I think to be honest, he did scrape the back of him.
11:06 And I think it was a red card to be quite honest with you.
11:09 I know that De Serby afterwards said
11:11 that he agrees with the decision,
11:13 but he disagrees with 80% of the referee.
11:15 So I think he was clearly frustrated
11:17 to an extent after that game.
11:19 But I think that it was a red card.
11:22 As much as I don't want it to be a red card as a Brighton fan,
11:26 I think that that was the right decision
11:28 at the end of the day.
11:29 - Yeah. And you briefly mentioned just then
11:30 about De Serby saying that he dislikes 80%
11:33 of referees in England.
11:34 I mean, that's made national headlines.
11:37 He's the latest manager to criticise strongly
11:40 the situation with referees in the country.
11:42 What did you make of that?
11:44 Do you think he was maybe went a bit too far
11:46 with those comments?
11:47 Or do you think he was perfectly in his rights to say it?
11:49 - Well, I think he's quite a passionate manager
11:51 and he wears his heart on his sleeve.
11:52 And you're going to get those sort of comments with him
11:55 because for him, the game is, you know, such,
11:59 you know, his lifeline is a lifeline to him.
12:02 And he is someone that is very dramatic
12:04 when he does make these comments.
12:06 I don't think it was the fairest comment in the world.
12:09 And I think that maybe with a level head,
12:11 he might have rescinded that comment
12:14 or maybe avoided that a little differently.
12:16 But I understand his frustrations.
12:19 I think that the whole controversy over VAR recently
12:23 with just a couple of fixtures,
12:25 especially at the start of the season,
12:26 not just Brighton games,
12:27 but just decisions kind of being a bit iffy
12:31 and also kind of refereeing decisions being contested.
12:34 It's something that I do understand to an extent.
12:37 - Brilliant.
12:38 And obviously it's the international break now.
12:40 Has it come at a good time?
12:41 I think you mentioned the injuries they've got.
12:42 Louis Dunck, Pervez Osteepenhaan,
12:44 James Milner all went off in Amsterdam
12:46 and you've obviously also got injuries to Soddy March,
12:48 Danny Woerbeke, Tarek Lamptey.
12:50 So really key players out at the moment.
12:52 So do you think the break has come at a good time
12:54 for those players to maybe have a bit more rest
12:57 and to come back recharged for the club games afterwards?
12:59 - Absolutely. I think it is now time
13:02 to recharge those batteries,
13:03 make sure that we are in good fitness
13:06 or the best fitness we can be
13:08 and try and regroup the players we've got.
13:10 De Zerbe is going to have a job
13:12 just trying to get everyone back into fitness,
13:15 getting people back into the squad,
13:17 back into the reality of, look,
13:19 we want to perform in the Premier League as well
13:21 as the Europa League.
13:22 And I think that we can do that.
13:24 I think we've just had a little bit of a wobble.
13:26 It's so new to us playing these fixtures in Europe
13:29 and we're doing so well.
13:31 The fact that we've had a few draws
13:33 and a few results that haven't gone our way
13:34 is something that we can work on.
13:36 And like you say, I think at the moment,
13:39 an international break right now
13:40 could be something that will just kind of
13:43 put us back on balance, back on track.
13:45 - Yo!
13:46 - Yo!
13:47 - I'm Freddie.
13:51 - This is Jake.
13:51 - I'm Jake.
13:52 - Nice one. And how excited are you for the game?
13:55 - Absolutely, absolutely.
13:56 I can't wait. It's electric, the feeling.
13:58 (laughing)
13:59 I'm looking forward to it so much.
14:00 I mean, I didn't get to go to Marseille,
14:02 so I'm going to IAX in Athens.
14:05 So I've had a few of those.
14:06 - And we're living in Germany.
14:06 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:07 - Yeah, I'm absolutely buzzing. I can't wait.
14:08 - Absolutely buzzing. Never felt that before.
14:10 - I had to wear this because my mate,
14:11 he said, "If you can get me a ticket somehow,
14:13 I've got to wear a Sigo costume."
14:14 And I thought, "I ain't going to get one."
14:15 But he went back and re-sold it.
14:16 He got me one.
14:17 So I honestly, absolutely buzzing about that.
14:19 - True story.
14:20 - Yeah.
14:21 - Amazing.
14:22 What are your score predictions?
14:23 How do you see the game going?
14:23 - I'm going to go one.
14:24 Oh, I feel like I'm going to go two.
14:26 If I say we're going to win, then I don't think we will.
14:28 - Two or a Pedro-Pedro win.
14:30 - Do you see it being a tougher game than the home fixture?
14:32 Obviously away from home?
14:34 - They've got a couple of wins in a row now in the league.
14:36 And I think it's because they've got rid
14:38 of their manager now, haven't they?
14:39 And like, have they got a new manager yet?
14:40 - Yeah, they've got a new manager.
14:42 - So I think it's going to be a tough one to be fair.
14:44 I don't think, back in their backyard as well.
14:46 - The eagle.
14:47 - Sigo.
14:48 - Sigo.
14:49 - It's an eagle.
14:49 (crowd chanting)
14:52 (crowd chanting)
14:55 - I'm mooring, Steve.
15:05 - I'm back in, Steve.
15:06 - Amaze, how long have you been Brighton fans for?
15:10 - Oh, forever.
15:10 - Forever?
15:11 - Yes, we've been Brighton supporters ever since.
15:14 - I went to team again.
15:15 - Yeah, back in the day.
15:16 - I got lost on the bad down stone.
15:19 - So we've been through all the bad times.
15:22 - Good times and even better times.
15:25 - Amazing, I mean, how incredible is it
15:27 to be here today in Amsterdam?
15:28 - We've come actually, we booked in through
15:31 Signal Travel.
15:32 - Okay.
15:33 - And came on the coach.
15:34 - Oh, it's...
15:35 - We've been given Brighton stars and we have
15:37 fallen in love with it.
15:37 - That's totally incredible.
15:38 - Because it's been absolutely stress free.
15:40 We've had one call, made new friends on the coach
15:45 and here we are, looking forward to a really exciting match.
15:51 - Amazing, it must be so surreal to be in such a huge,
15:53 huge city, playing a massive football club.
15:56 - Absolutely, absolutely.
15:57 It's a community football club and the Brampton stadium
16:01 they have made such tremendous friends.
16:04 It's made a part of our life, obviously.
16:07 - Yeah.
16:08 - In entertainment and wonderful, yeah,
16:10 we go to a lot of the away games when we can
16:14 and here we are in Amsterdam in the Europa League.
16:18 Seems a bit surreal, doesn't it?
16:19 - Yeah, incredible.
16:20 - And how do you see the game going?
16:22 Are you confident?
16:23 - We are reasonably confident,
16:24 but that's as far as we can go.
16:26 - Obviously I see that retro Brian top on.
16:28 Brian have gone on a long journey since they won that
16:29 to be in here today.
16:30 How amazing has that journey been as a fan?
16:33 - Pretty good, yeah.
16:34 I mean, I joined the journey a little bit later
16:36 because I'm a little bit younger than the shirt
16:38 might suggest, but I started watching sort of
16:41 the last years of Wimbledon since then.
16:43 It's been a, it's been pretty much all the way uphill, so.
16:47 - Yeah.
16:48 - It's kind of surreal really.
16:49 - We feel like we've almost reached the top of the mountain
16:51 now that we've got here.
16:53 Since watching the championship,
16:55 we've had 63 games since the championship.
16:57 We got into the championship,
16:58 we had the Alex and it opened.
17:01 From there, you know,
17:03 we feel like we've made a steady climb.
17:05 We've now, we've arrived.
17:08 And like a lot of other fans who have spot United, Arsenal,
17:11 they have this all the time
17:12 and I'm surprised that they all don't go all the time.
17:15 (laughing)
17:16 But yeah, it's been brilliant.
17:19 - How excited are you to be here today?
17:20 - Oh, it's brilliant, it's great.
17:21 The atmosphere is amazing.
17:22 We're really looking forward to the game,
17:23 hoping for another win.
17:24 So yeah, it's all really good.
17:25 - How long have you been a Brighton fan for?
17:27 - Got about five, six years probably.
17:30 Yeah, but I've been in Brighton a long time,
17:32 so I've followed them sort of on the side.
17:34 - Yeah, yeah.
17:35 - But a proper fan for about six years.
17:36 - But how surreal is it to be in Amsterdam?
17:38 - Oh, it's amazing.
17:39 It's amazing to be here to share
17:40 in the first European tour as well.
17:42 We're really, really happy.
17:43 - And how do you see the game going?
17:44 Are you confident?
17:45 - Yeah, yeah, definitely 3-1 is our prediction.
17:47 - 3-1, who's gonna score, do you think?
17:49 - Ducky, I think Ducky's got a goal in him for sure.
17:52 - Yeah?
17:53 - Yeah.
17:54 - Did you say you went to Marseille as well, did you?
17:55 - No, they did.
17:56 - Okay.
17:57 - I couldn't go to work, but them two did.
17:58 - Yeah, so, I mean, this must be the pick of the bunch
18:00 in the group, away at IEX.
18:01 - Yeah, this is the one.
18:02 We didn't have tickets initially,
18:03 and then last minute we managed to get some on the website.
18:06 So we've actually, yeah, absolutely must have got some now.
18:08 - Yeah, you must be relieved.
18:09 - I'm a little bit relieved now.
18:09 - You must be relieved to get the ticket after all this stress.
18:11 - Yeah, I mean, obviously we knew it was gonna be hard to get.
18:14 - Yeah, yeah.
18:14 - But, yeah, it was great to get through in the end.
18:15 - How do you think the game's gonna go?
18:17 - I actually think, in the home leg,
18:19 they were probably the worst team we played this season.
18:21 I don't wanna say that bad, but they've got a new manager
18:24 and they've won their last two games.
18:25 So I expect a tougher one, but it might suit us
18:27 if they come out and try and attack us a bit more.
18:29 So I still think we'll win, 2-1 maybe, 2-0.
18:31 (dramatic music)
18:34 (bells ringing)
18:37 - Hi there, my name's Jacob Pannins.
18:43 I'm here with Sam Morton.
18:45 We're reporters for Sussex World
18:46 and we are just outside the Johan Cruyff Arena
18:49 and we've watched Brighton beat Ajax 2-0.
18:51 And Sam, what did you make of that performance?
18:53 - Absolutely incredible.
18:54 An historic night, amazing occasion
18:56 that Brighton were superb for our end.
18:59 I've managed to get a win at the home
19:01 of one of the most famous clubs in the whole world
19:03 and it's amazing really that they were so comfortable.
19:07 Again, I think there was a little bit of pressure on them
19:09 in the second half and then somehow Ajax didn't score.
19:12 I think Bobby Schott hit both hopes.
19:14 - Yeah.
19:15 - Not really sure how they didn't go in,
19:16 but really apart from that,
19:18 there was a couple of simple saves for the end goal.
19:21 Black on his home soil.
19:24 I mean, it was just kind of a fantastic performance
19:26 for Brighton.
19:27 Asif Fatih and Dieng were linked up again.
19:30 I think both got on the score sheet
19:32 and both got assists from each other.
19:33 They obviously combined for the goal at the Amex as well
19:36 to make it 2-0 on that day.
19:37 So consecutive 2-0 wins,
19:39 two clean sheets against Ajax.
19:41 And yes, they might not be in their best form at the moment
19:43 and not the Ajax we knew,
19:46 but they're still such a huge club
19:47 and such an intense attitude.
19:49 I've certainly not heard noise like it today.
19:52 And for Brighton to go there and get a clean sheet
19:54 and a win, which puts them in a great position
19:57 for reaching the cup at the last minute.
19:58 - Yeah, this is obviously a huge win for Brighton.
20:01 And obviously you start the group stage
20:03 with a loss at home against Athens
20:05 and then a draw away from home.
20:06 Marseille got their first European win at home against Ajax
20:09 and they've done the double over the Dutch champions.
20:11 This will be really important
20:12 for promoting that winning mentality going into the league
20:15 'cause they haven't won since the victory against Bournemouth
20:17 towards the end of September.
20:18 - Yeah, well, exactly that.
20:19 And it's really an amazing upturn in form in Europe.
20:22 I think obviously they had that defeat against Athens
20:24 where it was all very new
20:25 and then they went into the game as favourites
20:27 and where they shouldn't have been
20:28 in a completely different situation to what they're used to.
20:32 And they kind of learned from that a little bit
20:34 in the Marseille game,
20:34 despite a really tough start to that game,
20:37 they managed to come back and get until the draw.
20:39 And that point seems so massive now
20:41 when you look at the table
20:43 because they followed that up with two brilliant wins,
20:45 even comfortable wins at Ajax.
20:48 And they're now in such a good position in the group.
20:50 And obviously it has come at a cost of the league form,
20:54 which they're getting used to.
20:55 They're getting used to finding that balance
20:57 and keeping the players fit
20:58 because obviously again,
20:59 we had another few injuries today with Lillestam.
21:01 Lillestam, Jason Milne,
21:04 and then Pervis and Steven Allen
21:05 were all going off injured today.
21:06 So it's a real tough situation
21:08 to try and play your best team
21:10 whilst keeping them fit for the weekend.
21:12 Obviously, they've got a Champions League night
21:13 and Simon Green now,
21:15 and he's hoping to have Lillestam
21:18 or Steven Allen fit for that one.
21:20 So you can really see how it's a tough,
21:24 tough act to try and balance a team
21:26 that's under the age of 18 and keep them fit.
21:29 I think the form in Europe is great at the moment
21:31 and the fans are actually loving it.
21:32 We saw their bar teams in here,
21:34 so it's fantastic.
21:35 Brilliant result, we have what we've come for.
