Sussex World reporter Sam Morton reviews the action after Brighton beat Tottenham in a thrilling comeback victory
Transcript
00:00Hello, I'm Sam Morton, reporter for Sussex World. I've just watched Brighton beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2
00:05in a sensational comeback victory that did not seem likely at all after the first half where Spurs
00:11took a two-goal lead with Brendan Johnson and James Madison getting the goals and they could
00:15have had a third goal with the chance towards the end of the first half. You felt that Brighton were
00:19still missing something and a little bit suspect defensively like they were at Stamford Bridge
00:24but they fought back superbly, a couple of changes at half-time and they were a completely different
00:28team in the second half with Jan-Cooper Minter getting on the score sheet and Jorginho Rutter
00:34with a brilliant finish to make it 2-2 and Danny Welbeck making it 3-2 from Rutter's Cross and it
00:40was brilliant to be there at the Amex, it was an awesome atmosphere, the crowd was wild by the
00:46time the third goal went in and it was a superb game really and Brighton really did have to fight
00:51to get back into that game with some brilliant goals, brilliant performances, Karim Otome especially
00:56took my eye, he was brilliant throughout the game, probably Brighton's biggest threat I think in that
01:02first half but especially in the second half he got an assist and it was his cross that led to
01:06the first goal as well and on another day he could have got on the score sheet, he looked
01:10really back to his best and it's a nice link-up play with Pervis at Stupinan who came on as a
01:15second half substitute and great to see him with a good performance as well so for all of our
01:19play ratings and match reaction see sussexworld.co.uk
