Transcript
00:00Hello, I'm Sam Morton, reporter for Sussex World. I'm outside the Amex Stadium where Brighton have beaten Villarreal 4-0 in their final pre-season friendly.
00:09It was a really entertaining game, actually. Brighton played well for large periods and scored lots of goals again, which we've seen during and throughout the pre-season.
00:17Jankuba Minter was among those to score. Once again, it was his third goal pre-season and he really has looked good for Brighton so far.
00:25João Pedro was back in the team. He scored an absolute screamer to open the scoring.
00:31Also, Danny Welbeck was on fire. Two goals today. One of them was set up by Minter.
00:36So, really promising signs from the attacking players from Brighton.
00:41There's still so much more players to come back. We haven't even seen Evan Ferguson yet. Julio Mancisa is still to come back.
00:47Simon Odinga came off the bench, as well as Kouzia Deribere as well. So, there's so much attacking talent inside and it's really, really promising so far.
00:56Obviously, we need to see that in the Premier League and they're way evident in the first game of the season next weekend.
01:02So, really looking forward to that one and seeing how they get on.
01:05There's some really promising signs from Hazela early on. You can see the style of play that he's trying to implement and how he wants his team to play.
01:13So, it's all looking rosy for Brighton so far and hopefully that continues as the season begins.
01:19To see my play ratings, to see all the match reaction as we spoke to Hazela, Danny Welbeck and new signing Mats Wieffer after the match.
01:26So, for all those stories, you can see our website at sussexworld.co.uk
