00:00 So we're outside the Amix, we've just watched Brighton beat Newcastle 3-1 and Evan Ferguson hat-trick, what do you make of that game?
00:07 Incredible, Newcastle were obviously not at their best but Brighton really put them to the sword right from the off really.
00:13 Maybe the first few minutes were a bit dodgy when Newcastle could have taken the lead but from then on Brighton didn't really look back.
00:20 Ferguson's obviously in unbelievable scoring form, his first career hat-trick and it just shows what's to come from him really.
00:27 He's kind of burst onto the scene over the last couple of years but really today he's just highlighted how good he is and how good he can be.
00:35 So it's so impressive the performance today and from the whole team really, you couldn't really pick one player that didn't perform well.
00:42 So you have really good team performance and Brighton bats for the best.
00:45 Yeah it was a really strong performance from Brighton, you said he thinks it was the best over his tenure?
00:52 Yeah definitely one of the best that he's seen, he was in good spirits after the game and he was so pleased with the performance.
00:58 He was particularly pleased with Van Hecke who came in for Adam Webster who obviously didn't have his best against last week.
01:04 Van Hecke really did prove why he was put in the team, it was his best performance that I've seen from him 100%
01:10 and De Serby was full of praise for him and all the players really.
01:14 The question I did ask is would Fatih and Boliva go straight into the start of the XI with Brighton playing like that?
01:19 De Serby didn't really say either way but he's so pleased to have those two players as options and it's a very exciting time for Brighton.
01:26 Yeah 100% and with Evan Ferguson's three goals, they were three quite unique goals.
01:31 The first one was a proper Poch's finish, spinning off the defender and capitalising on Nick Poch's mistake.
01:36 The second one he was given a bit of space and he curled it into the bottom corner from quite far out.
01:40 And the third was one where he was quite tight in the box and he managed to find enough space to get a shot off.
01:46 It must be really reassuring for the club that he's scored three almost completely different goals.
01:50 Yeah 100% as you say, two completely different goals.
01:52 You may say the third one was a bit lucky with the deflection it took but you make your own luck, you can't score unless you shoot.
01:58 He just has that instinct for goal and he knows where the net is.
02:02 He's an incredible player and obviously it's concerning that the more he performs like that,
02:07 the more likely it is that he's going to move on sooner rather than later.
02:10 But hopefully Bryson can keep hold of him for as long as possible, at least until the end of this season.
02:16 I think he can have a huge say in how Brighton do this season and in the Europa League as well.
