Classic Music Decades 1960-90

This song from classic music decades 1960-90 (1983) is the imagination of singer, who is singing a love ballad. The song writer Jim Steinman was inspired by a novel about an emotional but toxic love between two lovers, where one of them died and the other one remembers deceased and badly feels missing in imagination. Since deceased was not as sincere with love during life, the writer has portrayed his soul as a vampire, who is asking lover to turn around and go back as he doesn't love her, which disheartens her so badly that she feels herself pushed aside in the darkness of the world of vampires, as if it is a Total Eclipse of her Heart by him. The rock singer Bonnie Tyler has performed tunes emotionally enough to enhance the idea in lyrics with her husky voice, best suited to the situation in song that mesmerizes listener, which should be her Irish singing background spirit, reflected in her singing career in the USA. Song video is a great hard work effort by music video producer Russel Mulcahy, though some viewers think there are slight irrelevancies in the video, which I think, someone representing producers, should be able to elaborate details. The subtitles translation is presented in versified form, keeping in view, meaning remains corresponding to the original idea in source text, as good as possible. Enjoy!
