00:00We're good to go. Which way? This way.
00:09Just getting ready for the premiere. Josh is already kind of giving me a sneaky little
00:15face massage. That's behind the paywall. What time does the premiere start at?
00:19Red carpet.
00:20Red carpet first and then the premiere.
00:23We are going to do a variation on the Millie Mullet. Paul, when I met him on shoot, had
00:29the Millie Mullet, but then I just refined it and made it what it is. I think it was
00:35a joint collaboration. I love a mullet. He loves a mullet. And I think we both are into
00:40undone hair.
00:41Well, product-wise, I think we're quite loose in it. We're not like too fussy. Love the
00:45bumble and bumble thickening spray prep.
00:48We'll normally have music on the go, get some drinks and some food. It's already ordered.
00:55Don't you worry. I normally get hyper anxious in moments like this. And I'm not just saying
01:00this because I'm on camera, but I feel pretty relaxed at the moment.
01:09Yeah, I think it's a very special moment for Ridley as well to have a royal premiere for
01:14him. I know it's a very special moment. There's nobody else like him. He's utterly singular.
01:20The last thing I was expecting when I made this was that I'd be honestly saying that
01:24Ridley Scott's my friend, but that's true. He's inspired me to like, hopefully when I'm
01:3086, I have the same appetite for work that he has.
01:33My style outside of a red carpet context, pretty consistent. I think working with someone
01:38like Felicity informs it totally because she's the greatest stylist in the world. The minute
01:43we started working together, there was no attempt by her or her team to change who I
01:48was through the way that I dress. Our journey was like, how do we find the best versions
01:53of the things that I already like?
01:55So is that something you think about your own personal style away from events? You know,
01:59when we see these pictures of you in the short shorts?
02:01That's not considered. That's been there long before normal people. And it'll exist long
02:07after Gladiator 2.
02:09Thankfully, I didn't have a huge amount of costumes in Gladiator 2. It's kind of versions
02:17of the same thing. It's a silhouette that like you associate with Gladiator 1. And there's
02:21myself and Russell Crowe, the only two people to put on certain pieces of armor. That's
02:26a pretty cool thing. And here's the hair.
02:29Barney, why? What are you thinking?
02:33Love it. More effortless.
02:40Ladies and gentlemen of Vogue, this is the great Felicity K.
02:44So I remember when Paul first told me that he was doing Gladiator. And I've been thinking
02:49about this ever since. I'd say nearly every day and night. And I've collaborated really,
02:54really closely with Sabato and the Gucci team. It's a big press tour. I'm making sure that
02:59every moment of a premiere still feels different, but still feels true to Paul and his style.
03:05Today's look is a single breasted peak satin lapel with a sort of deconstructed bow tie.
03:13It's obviously a very prestigious film. I wanted Paul to feel like the leading man he is.
03:18So we leaned into a lot of vintage in the tour and a lot of old Hollywood references.
03:22We've done that before and continuing that forward. This suit is a beautiful, very heavy
03:27wool, gorgeous structure and photographs really beautifully. And I'm very excited about the shirt.
03:33So it's a silk poplin that they developed for him especially. It's a little translucent.
03:39So when there's no jacket, you can actually see the tattoos through, which is really pretty detail.
03:43It has this idea of a sort of undone bow tie. Paul and I always like to have him in quite
03:49a classic silhouette. I always like to find a little moment to undo it and kind of make
03:54it feel a little deconstructed, just to give it a bit more interest.
04:04We're kind of doing them mini watches for this.
04:07They're really like delicate and beautiful pieces of art almost. I think they're really gorgeous.
04:14We're wearing these guys tonight, right?
04:15Yes.
04:16Great. The tiny watch.
04:17The tiny watch tour.
04:18Yeah, the tiny watch tour.
04:20The trousers are here.
04:21Ah.
04:22The trousers are here.
04:23Ah, great.
04:25Okay.
04:27We've got our initials.
04:29Oh, cute.
04:30I'm starting to get nervous now.
04:32If stuff like this doesn't make you nervous, I think it's odd. It's in an alien environment.
04:38And it's incredibly exciting, but it's also deeply abnormal.
04:44I love this shirt. It feels elegant. It feels sexy in it. It's great.
04:52I just think this is exactly the thing that I was talking about, like a point of difference,
04:56like in the sense that it's a really beautifully elegant suit,
05:01but where can you find something that's maybe a little bit out there?
05:05The collar's a little bit out there.
05:08It's edgy, don't we think?
05:17What time are we at?
05:18Past.
05:21We're ready to go.
05:22Dressed.
05:23Happy camper.
05:25On to the premiere.
05:30Cheersing to...
05:31To...
05:32Gladiator 2.
05:33To us.
05:34To France.
05:35To France.
05:36And also to the wider team that we all share that aren't here and are all behind the camera.
05:40Cheers to everyone else.
05:41This drink is so nice.
05:42It's delicious. Sergeant Pepper, get on it.
05:44Tequila mezcal, pineapple juice, lime, chilies.
05:50And a hint of mint.
05:51And a hint of mint.
05:52It's so quiet in here.
05:56We're good to go.
05:57We're going to the premiere.
05:59It's happening in the next, I think, 30 minutes.
06:03Thank you very much for everything.
06:05See you later.
06:06Bye.
06:07Bye.
06:08Bye.
06:21Bye.
