00:00Hello there, good morning. Well, today brings a new month, but more of the same weather.
00:07We're looking at low pressure over the week ahead, dominating the weather across the UK.
00:13Systems rolling in from the Atlantic, bringing some wet and windy weather at times. But there
00:18will be some dry interludes in between the weather systems as they push through. And
00:23it's a mixed start to the 1st of April out there. We've got a cloudier zone through this
00:26central swathe of the UK. Outbreaks of rain across southern and central parts of England
00:32and Wales. Sunny spells this morning, but into the afternoon, a scattering of showers
00:36developing. Some of these will be heavy as we move through the day with some hail and
00:41thunder. This weather system just pushes a little further north into Northern Ireland,
00:45southern Scotland into the afternoon, clouding over across much of Scotland. Low cloud in
00:49the east, best of the sunshine across the North West Highlands here. We'll see highs
00:54around 14 Celsius under the cloud and rain, 678 Celsius. So a cold feeling day, quite
01:00a keen northeasterly breeze here in the best of the sunshine across parts of England and
01:05Wales, 14 or 15 Celsius away from those showers. As we move through into the evening time,
01:11this weather system just pushes a little further north and west with still some heavier bursts
01:15in there to the south of this across much of England and Wales. Clear spells and scattered
01:20showers. This weather system scooting through the English Channel, giving some showers
01:25to southern parts here and generally temperatures staying above freezing. A little chillier
01:30than it has been of late, but four or five Celsius to take us in to Tuesday morning.
01:35A bright start across parts of England and Wales, a scattering of showers. Central and
01:39eastern areas seeing the best of the morning sunshine. Cloudier further west and north
01:44with some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Low cloud persisting through the day, moving in
01:49from the North Sea for north east Scotland here. Rain throughout. Sunshine and showers
01:53for many through the day, some of them again heavy at times. This weather system moving
01:57into the far south west, giving some rain and strong winds into Cornwall and Devon and
02:03then this pushing northwards as we head through into Wednesday. In terms of temperatures again
02:08in the sunshine, above average across central southern areas, 14 or 15 Celsius. Colder further
02:14north, six or seven degrees under the cloud across northern Scotland. So a quick summary
02:20of the week ahead. We're staying unsettled, low pressure dominating. Further wind and
02:25rain at times, but we will see some sunny spells and that will generally lift temperatures.
02:30So staying above average in the sunshine, but feeling quite cool where we have the cloud
02:35and rain. If you'd like more information on the weather where you are, you can follow
