00:00Good morning, many of us will see some sunshine throughout today but through
00:04the next few hours there's still a bit of cloud around and perhaps some
00:07drizzly rain as well particularly across the far southeast this morning we've
00:11still got the rain clearing from Thursday but also across parts of North
00:15Wales, North and Western England as well as some areas of Scotland some drizzly
00:18showers are possible but I think you'll be fairly unlucky to see anything
00:22particularly long-lived or heavy. Many areas though should stay dry today and
00:26as I said there will be some sunshine on offer by the afternoon particularly
00:29across the south coast I think that's where the sunshine will be most
00:33long-lived but also many areas of Northern Ireland and southern and
00:37central Scotland seeing some good sunshine this afternoon. The air is still
00:40quite mild for the time of year it's not quite as mild as yesterday but we should
00:45still see highs of around 15 possibly 16 degrees in the south closer to 11 or 12
00:50degrees further north and it will also be feeling a little bit milder across
00:55the far north of Scotland apart from across the far northern isles where we
00:58do have a stronger northerly breeze so that will bring slightly cooler air to
01:02the far north of Scotland throughout this evening but generally it will be
01:06another fairly mild night some mist and fog around throughout Saturday morning
01:11we'll also see some drizzly rain bringing low cloud across the coast of
01:15Wales the southwest as well as over the hills as well so turning a little bit
01:20murkier by the time we get to Saturday morning from the west but through the
01:24east it should stay clear and dry through much of the night and the winds
01:27are fairly light temperatures will dip down a little bit lower than last night
01:31so it'll be a slightly cooler night but we will be frost free to start the
01:35weekend there is a bit more cloud and rain to come through the course of
01:39Saturday as well this band of heavy rain will gradually make progress towards the
01:44UK as the day progresses particularly Northern Ireland will see that through
01:48the day also parts of Wales possibly into the southwest by the end of the day
01:51as well the southeast should and central area should stay dry through much of the
01:56day however as I said it will cloud over as the day goes on we've still got
02:00a southerly breeze though so it will be feeling very mild and probably a bit
02:05muggy once again the band of quite heavy and blustery rain will push eastwards
02:10through the course of Saturday evening and that should clear by Sunday morning
02:15so Sunday looks like it should be a fairly fine day as we get a ridge of
02:18higher pressure developing for a time so still some sunshine to end the weekend
02:23but you can buy more details with our full weekend forecast on YouTube see you later on
