00:00Hello again. It is still very windy out there and it's cold in that wind as well. A number
00:06of warnings remain in place. I urge you to check the Met Office website or the app for
00:11details of those weather warnings. Storm Arwen has also introduced colder air, so we are
00:17seeing some snow in places also. We'll continue with wintry showers over eastern England through
00:21the day, a messy mixture across central parts of rain, sleet and snow through this morning.
00:27That should steadily ease, but the showers will keep going across eastern England and
00:31northern Scotland. Snow on hills, but still some snow, possible at times down to lower
00:36levels. Rain for the showers over Pembrokeshire and Cornwall and much of western Britain.
00:41Dry, fine and sunny, but it is cold and those winds are still very lively, only slowly easing
00:49as we go through the day today and certainly bringing a chill. Temperatures 3 or 4 degrees
00:54for many of us, feeling colder when you add on that strong wind. The winds will continue
00:59to ease as we go through this evening, but continue to feed in showers across eastern
01:04parts. Potential for things to be very icy where we've got those showers as temperatures
01:08tumble pretty sharply through this evening. A fairly extensive and hard frost forming,
01:14leading to a cold start to Sunday. There is that storm system Arwen. It is slowly pulling
01:20away to the south, a little bump in the ice bars, a little ridge of high pressure, but
01:24notice it's not completely gone. Still on Sunday, the winds coming in from the North
01:29Sea and close to that old storm system, there will still be showers coming in across parts
01:34of eastern England in particular. But for many western areas, it will be a really cold
01:39start, but at least the winds will be lighter on Sunday. Still a few showers feeding in
01:44across Pembrokeshire and Cornwall, maybe the odd one for northern Ireland and still snow
01:48showers over northern Scotland. That wintry mix of hail, sleet and snow showers across
01:53parts of eastern England too. But for the vast majority, Sunday is a dry and a bright
01:58day and with lighter winds, even though temperatures are still below average, it'll probably feel
02:03a little milder on Sunday compared to today. Keep up to date with the very latest from
02:09the Met Office. As I said, check out the weather warnings that are currently in force through
02:14the app or the website and subscribe to our YouTube channels so you never miss a forecast.
