00:00So let's, let's get right into it because you were out on the golf course today.
00:09I would say, I would tell you that I walked the back nine with Jackson this morning, but
00:14I don't think that's a correct characterization.
00:16I hiked the back nine because it's a true hike out here.
00:20I mean, this is, I can't illustrate this any better than they gave us course maps and you
00:24look at this course map.
00:25It's stylized as like a ski slope and they got like black diamonds or, you know, the,
00:30the blue squares, the green circles, all that type of stuff.
00:33It's literally, you could, you could go sledding off like 10 T off 11.
00:38I mean, it's, it's a, it's a walk out here.
00:40A hundred percent is it's about a eight to nine mile walk out on this golf course here
00:44at, at castle pines.
00:45I went around it today in my golf cart and it's going to be, it's going to be a long
00:50week for the guys out on the ground.
00:53Just like give you some elevation just as far as the feet, the first hole, the T to
00:56the landing area, 115 feet.
00:59Second hole is a 60 foot, 65 foot drop, 45 foot drop in the third hole, 20, 22 feet up
01:06on five, 34 feet up on seven.
01:09As we go down to the back nine on 10, you got like an 80 foot drop off the T. So the
01:14T shots on one in 10, there's going to be fun to follow just to see, you know, the hang
01:17time on some of these drives you're going to get.
01:21It's going to be fun to watch these guys try to navigate one, to be aggressive off the
01:24tee with drivers and when to lay back to find the fairways.
01:28Because you know, going around this, this golf course, what surprised me is how residential
01:33this place is with, you know, some out of bounds very close to, to some of the fairways
01:39that'll definitely catch some guys' attention.
01:42And it's a Jack Nichols design in this place reminds me at times of shots that you have
01:49at Memorial.
01:51Some shots remind me that, that you have at Augusta National.
01:55Some of the drives for the most part, remind me of what you see in typical mountain golf,
02:01which, you know, Reno would be an example, but I don't think anybody in the top 50 here
02:07has probably played Reno in quite some time.
02:10So it's probably not a good one to look at, but yeah, it's, it's a very unique golf course
02:16blended with, you know, mountain golf, perfect conditions, and then typical, you know, small
02:23sections that you have to hit into with wedges that you're now trying to calculate with,
02:29you know, potential with some firm greens.
02:31And then, you know, the ups and downs that you're going to have to calculate and pretty
02:35much every single hole for the most part, you can't miss long.
02:40So that'll be the big thing is can guys leave it in the correct positions?
02:44Because I do think when you do get on the greens, you're going to be able to make some
02:47putts.
02:49Although it is, you know, just me standing on the back of a certain green, and then I
02:55go to the front of the green.
02:57I'll think it's uphill when I'm looking at the front, and then I'll go to the back, and
03:01then I see it the total different way.
03:03And it was messing with my brain almost like, I'm going to get on my yardage book tomorrow
03:10and try to put a dot on where the mountain is moving to just not get lost on where you
03:16are.
03:17Because if there's any pull out there, it's going to be down the mountain.
03:20And sometimes you can kind of get lost based on how they build these greens, whether it's
03:25up against the slope or with the slope.
03:28And I think the guys that are able to kind of maneuver and see these greens the best
03:32are the ones, you know, if you're hitting the fairways, obviously the ones that are
03:35going to be up there at the top.
