00:11You know how many clubs now that are, that are just dying to put Zoysia in.
00:15And it's not the Zoysia that we grew up on where you're in the golf cart and you're driving
00:19down the fairway and it's just going back and forth.
00:22There's different strands of this Zoysia now that, that are fantastic.
00:26I know that Shoal Creek, we're looking at the stadium Zoysia, which is a darker green,
00:31which I think you can get down pretty tight, kind of similar to what Eastlake has out here
00:36with the Zorro.
00:37Well, and we have a different Zoysia grass around the greens, actually.
00:42Prism.
00:43Prism, right?
00:44Yeah.
00:45It's super tight, too.
00:46And that's actually what's bred as a putting surface, Zoysia.
00:47No wonder.
00:48So you could actually take it way down.
00:50That's why it's going to play fast, like, that's, that's why it can play fast.
00:54Because most times when you think about Zoysia, you think about that first bounce, like you
00:58were talking about, that just doesn't go anywhere.
01:01But when you have something that's that tight, this Prism Zoysia, it, first off, it looks
01:04amazing.
01:05It's going to look good on TV, but it plays, like, really tight.
01:09The grain's not going to be a super big issue, but you're going to have to be able to clip
01:13it to be able to get spin on it.
01:14Well, and that's, maybe this is getting a little off topic, but now the grass nerd in
01:18me is kind of working here, like, is Zoysia for clubs in warmer climates?
01:23Is that, are we going to see more Zoysia greens and things like that?
01:26Or is it, like, is that becoming a competitor to Bermuda?
01:28I think there's one in Atlanta that I, yeah, I think we're seeing where it's going, right?
01:36The technology and the breeding and what the growers are bringing to the table is outstanding.
01:41I mean, we've even got some of those Zoysia grasses, they're putting on bunker faces and
01:45not mowing an entire year because they just don't grow, which is phenomenal for maintenance
01:50and cost.
01:51So there's a number of things we're trying.
01:53The problem is there's no magic grass, there's no magic turf.
01:57It all takes labor, it all takes work, it all takes, you know, some sort of inputs,
02:04you know, from either fertilizer, pesticides, whatever, to be good.
02:08Yeah, it's funny, you know, I just, we're so many things on this pod, but what we are,
02:14we're grass guys.
02:15We're big grass guys.
