00:00All right, everyone.
00:20Welcome back into another live edition of the Patriots Beat podcast here on the CLNS
00:26Network presented by our wonderful friends over at game time and prize picks.
00:30It is Brian Heinz back as always with Alex Barth and we have a football game
00:36kind of to break down because the Patriots opened the preseason last night
00:41and they won 17 to three over the Carolina Panthers.
00:46It certainly was a preseason football game,
00:49and especially with the quarterback usage, which we can get into.
00:53And we'll start with that because we were all excited
00:56for our first May Day in New England, and it lasted six plays,
01:01seven, including the penalty, and then Drake May was pulled.
01:04So Jacoby Berset started.
01:06He got one series and then they went over to Drake May
01:10and he got the one series I just mentioned, both with the starting offensive line,
01:14which, you know, Mayo said that was the plan for both of these guys
01:17to get one series each with the starting offensive line.
01:21We've seen a pretty leaky second unit, even a first unit at times in camp.
01:26So they wanted seems like they wanted the top two guys behind the,
01:30you know, the top offensive line.
01:32Then things got turned over to Zappi, and then we got the full Joe Milton
01:36experience there, you know, in the late in the third quarter
01:39in the fourth quarter there.
01:40But let's start with Drake May six plays.
01:45I think we were all expecting more.
01:47Did you want to see more?
01:48And did you agree with the usage there in his preseason debut?
01:52Of course, I wanted to see more, and I think we should have seen more.
01:54He's he's not going to start the regular season.
01:56I think we know that.
01:57And you got to get in these reps.
01:58And I understand where Mayo is coming from, saying that
02:01they don't want to put him out there
02:02if they're not sure the offensive line can protect him.
02:04I understand that to an extent.
02:06But wow, they must really not trust the offensive line.
02:09Yeah, that's a major, major red flag when it comes to the offensive line
02:12because you got to give him something.
02:15You got you got to give him some opportunity to get better.
02:17And by the way, that includes the starting offensive line
02:19that they put him out there with.
02:21So where are they at with their starting offensive line?
02:23What does that mean for when we're going to see him in the regular season?
02:26No, I think he should have played more.
02:27I think they should have found a way to make it work.
02:29Hopefully they use last night's offensive line performance
02:32to make some changes and bolster things.
02:34But Darian Lowe, as I've been saying, Brian, is not the answer.
02:37I think that was apparently clear last night.
02:38Not the answer. Left tackle.
02:40No, I didn't like the plan.
02:41I think you should have given him at least a quarter.
02:43I understand not leaving him in there a ton, even just leave him in a handoff.
02:47Just let him get the reps.
02:48And I. They you know, I came away kind of thinking, OK,
02:52they either feel really good or really bad about where Drake May is at.
02:55But to hear males say the offensive line was part of it.
02:59That's that's kind of a red flag to me when it comes to the offensive line
03:02and Drake May's prospects of getting in a game early this season.
03:06Yeah. So would you rather.
03:09The say like, hey, starting offensive line,
03:12we want you to play out the rest of the first quarter
03:15so we can get Drake made more reps behind you or.
03:19Were you like, OK, the Patriots second offensive line,
03:21it hasn't been great in camp, but.
03:24You know, we saw David Andrews start.
03:26We saw Mike on when you start to score for came back.
03:29So that second unit at least had like Nick Leverett,
03:31Leighton Robinson, Caden Wallace.
03:33Would you have trusted that unit to protect Drake May or would you have tried
03:36to get a little bit more out of that starting line to, you know, push
03:40Drake May maybe into the second quarter or just more than six plays, right?
03:44And more than three past attempts there.
03:46Well, I think another part of it is the.
03:51If that offensive line needs work, let them play more.
03:53Let them play together.
03:54Let them get used to it.
03:55It just it it it.
03:57I don't know.
03:58It just we know the offensive line isn't good.
04:00They know the offensive line is good, but it felt isn't good.
04:03But it felt like it a chance
04:05to maybe make some progress and they just didn't. Yeah.
04:09Yeah.
04:10Vardarian Lowe and Chooks Corfo like weren't great.
04:13They each allowed a pressure early.
04:16Chooks Corfo had the false start.
04:18So not a great start to took off on the route.
04:21It looked like he was just leaving the field.
04:23I was like, what is going on there?
04:24So not a great showing from that top unit.
04:28And yeah, that seemed to affect the quarterbacks a little bit.
04:32But it should change going forward.
04:34Do you think the joint practice coming up against Philly
04:37also has something to do with this?
04:39Like you'd imagine
04:40Jacoby and Drake are going to get a ton of run on Tuesday.
04:43Then Mayo said, like, they'll probably play or, you know, he was talking about
04:46Drake this morning, said he'll probably play a little bit more there
04:50in the next preseason game on Thursday.
04:52So do you think that had something to do with this as well?
04:54The reps, maybe it shouldn't have, right?
04:57Like, right.
04:57And we wanted to see him more and he needs the reps.
05:00But do you think in the back of their minds, maybe they're like, OK,
05:04he's going to get a ton of run Tuesday and Thursday against the Eagles.
05:08We can kind of dial it back with the offensive line last night.
05:13Yes and no.
05:14I mean, Mayo said that the reps are going to change
05:17and may will get more opportunities.
05:20And he has said in the past that eventually may is going to rep
05:22with the starters.
05:23But if the offensive line is part of the reason
05:26that he's not doing that right now, especially in game action.
05:30That's not going to change.
05:32Yeah.
05:32So it doesn't mean that he like we saw that they'll put him out there
05:36with that starting offensive line.
05:37They did that last night, but that unit's not great.
05:41And so that kind of puts a cap on how many opportunities
05:43you're going to give him.
05:46And that's what worries me, like, because it's not getting fixed this year.
05:50It might get a little bit better, but it's not getting fixed.
05:53And guys are going to get hurt.
05:55They don't have a ton of depth, even the interior, which I feel good about.
05:59Starter wise, they don't have a ton of depth.
06:01So, I mean, I think he'll rep more.
06:05But I do, again, feel like there's a cap on it
06:08if the offensive line is part of the equation
06:10and the offensive line should be part of the equation.
06:12It goes back to the bigger issue of they were historically bad at tackle last year.
06:17Their two best tackles are Trent Brown and Conor McDermott.
06:19They're both gone.
06:20And their answer was to add a fringe starting right tackle to play left tackle
06:25in a career college, right?
06:26Tackle is not a bad player, but again, to play left tackle.
06:31Yeah, yeah.
06:33So the offensive line at this point isn't changing, right?
06:36Like there's a couple of veteran tackles, but we went down that road.
06:39Like there are guys out today.
06:42Yeah, that's also true.
06:43So we'll see who comes in for a workout.
06:45But if you're just pairing May with the top offensive line
06:49and that's the only reason he's going to get out there, like
06:52might not get out there a lot.
06:53So but anything from his performance in those six plays to two screen passes
06:59or one screen to Gibson and then the kind of check down to Kevin Harris.
07:04He had one that was like a little high to Jalen Rager, but maybe could have been caught.
07:09I know Dan Orlovsky had like a three minute video going over
07:12like kind of the little things, right?
07:13Like he doesn't play under center a lot in UNC.
07:16He seemed pretty comfortable with with that, you know, with with handoffs
07:20doing all that from under center, just again, six plays.
07:24We have to break down here.
07:25But I thought like just solid, but unspectacular.
07:29It kind of you saw you saw him do the little things as Orlovsky kind of hinted at.
07:33Yeah, I think that the big plus on that screen pass, again, very.
07:36And it's a screen.
07:38So usually you have defenders coming at you.
07:40Vardarian Lowe should be pulling.
07:42Instead, he's somehow on a screen, gets walked back into the quarterback.
07:45Drake may go to after false starting.
07:49You're right.
07:49That didn't get called.
07:50Drake may with the tackle basically in his lap.
07:53It doesn't panic.
07:54Stays very calm.
07:55Just flips the ball out.
07:56Doesn't mean he's going to get a Hall of Famer.
07:58I know a lot of people are going to roll their eyes at me,
08:00hyping up a screen pass.
08:01This is where we're at.
08:01This is what we have dealt with some pressure.
08:04Didn't panic.
08:04Didn't try to do too much.
08:05Just flip the ball out.
08:06Got it done.
08:08The low to me was and he mentioned this after the game.
08:10I would have liked to see him
08:12try to drive the ball down the field on that third down.
08:14I know.
08:15I don't remember who it is.
08:15The wide receiver to his left has two safeties kind of over the top.
08:18But if he zips that receiver comes back to the ball a little bit,
08:22there's maybe a play to be made.
08:23But nothing.
08:27I feel the same coming out of the game as I did going in,
08:30and I don't remember if I said this on Zolak and Bertrand yesterday
08:34or if I said it on our last crossover show, Brian, that you hope Gerard Mayo
08:38feels some sort of way different about Drake may better or worse after the game
08:42because he got an evaluation.
08:43And I said the worst thing that could happen is Gerard Mayo feels the same.
08:47I think I feel the same because we didn't see anything
08:50like there's just really nothing there to sink your teeth into.
08:54Yeah.
08:54I mean, again, it's six plays, so I thought he made.
08:58You know, he looked comfortable at least running, running the things
09:02and, you know, being under center and, you know, the screen dealing
09:05with the pressure and even the third down pass.
09:07Like I know he said he maybe wanted to push it downfield.
09:10Like he had a guy in his face on that one to choose a quarter
09:13for that beat off the right side.
09:14So maybe like he has the arm talent to maybe try to drive that.
09:19But I thought like just it was a good decision in the moment as well.
09:22So but yeah, hopefully it's not like he puked all over himself.
09:26Yeah, it's not saying he was bad.
09:27It's just it's such a limited sample size that you can't really glean anything from it.
09:31Yeah, you can't walk away with feeling a lot better about them or being like,
09:36OK, maybe we have to take a step back with them.
09:38Like you feel the same, which probably isn't how you wanted to go
09:42go into the game.
09:42You didn't want to leave the game feeling like that.
09:44But right.
09:46That's trick may anything from Jacoby Bursett's one series seemed a little
09:53spotty accuracy wise, which we've seen at camp at times.
09:56He fired fired high to Mitchell Wilcox on like a short cross.
10:00So it was wide open.
10:02And then he under threw Taekwon Thor and deep kind of a tough one, though.
10:05Like he started on the left side of the field and came all the way back
10:08to the right side of the field.
10:09But it was still under thrown.
10:11And then Ramond had a first down, but then, you know, three and out and punch for Jacoby.
10:16So again, one drive, not a lot of plays, but anything from Jacoby's performance last night.
10:23So I thought he did a good job of maneuvering in the pocket,
10:27which again, right, is kind of always collapsing in on him.
10:32Wasn't very consistent.
10:33But yeah, when it was actually time to throw the ball,
10:35even though he's able to get himself space set and throw wasn't accurate.
10:40Like you mentioned, guys are some of the throws he missed.
10:42So underwhelming performance from him.
10:46But he's a veteran.
10:48I'm not like super worried about it.
10:50Yeah.
10:51All right.
10:51Before we get to the fun in Joe Milton, Bailey's happy was the third quarterback up.
10:58I was just trying to pull up the snap counts.
11:00He played 36 snaps, the most in the quarterback room.
11:05Why did Bailey's happy get 36 snaps?
11:08What do are they trying to showcase him for a potential trade?
11:12Or what did Gerard Mayo just have the fever?
11:16Or what?
11:17Why was Bailey's happy playing so much last night?
11:20So showcase is possible.
11:23Also, I mean, if we're going to expand Gerard Mayo's answer.
11:26They didn't trust the offensive line and Bailey's happy was
11:30essentially a sacrificial lamb.
11:32He's not a developing quarterback.
11:34He's not your starter.
11:35He's a guy to go out there, take hits, essentially eat innings.
11:38Cause that's kind of what he did last night.
11:41That was my thought more than a showcase.
11:43Usually showcase guys.
11:44Week three teams aren't teams are still internally going through things at this
11:48point, but I'm sure maybe that was part of it, but I think he was just in there.
11:51Cause again, they don't trust the offensive line and that's the guy.
11:54They were the most comfortable with taking the hits.
11:56Yeah.
11:57He's your last reliever in the bullpen.
11:58When you're down eight runs in the fourth inning, you just need someone
12:01to come in and eat a bunch of innings.
12:03Now that was kind of Bailey's happy last night and just
12:06looked like Bailey's happy.
12:07Right?
12:08Like I think his average chef, the target was like five or six yards.
12:14So kind of living in the short area, you still see some of those
12:17movement skills, those improviser abilities in the pocket, but, um,
12:22that you, that you saw on live action last year, but just, you
12:24know, the usual Bailey's happy, uh, kind of performance.
12:27So maybe that is if a quarterback goes down somewhere else, a team
12:31will send a late draft pick to get them as a backup, but, uh, we'll
12:36kind of see, cause he, the future looks even worse for him because
12:40of what Joe Milton did last night.
12:42And we can transition this into Joe Milton.
12:45Just take it away on Joe Milton.
12:46I know you're dying to talk about Joe Milton.
12:48So, so just take it away.
12:50Yeah.
12:50It's, I mean, it's part of the Joe experience, I guess.
12:54I, I, I will say this and I, I want to actually, let me pull this up.
12:59I want to reference a tweet that's, uh, out there.
13:02Um, I gotta find it.
13:04It's the Albert Breer tweet.
13:06Oh, you probably know what I'm talking about in the region.
13:10Yeah.
13:10I mean, people are mad.
13:12He said, New England's collective lack of college football knowledge makes
13:16it the ideal mark for Joe Milton Manny.
13:17And like, I know people are mad.
13:19He's not wrong.
13:20I'm sorry.
13:20You don't get to complain about that tweet when I have a hundred people in
13:23my mentions, every time I'm tweeting about college football, including like
13:26relative to the draft and the Patriots, lesser product is boring, but nobody
13:32cares, nobody watches this for the South.
13:34What do you think?
13:35You're a redneck.
13:35Like, no, you either watch college football.
13:37You don't get on board or you don't get to be mad about tweets like that.
13:41But there is some truth to that because if you didn't watch Joe Milton in college,
13:47and you saw that last night, you would think, cause he he's not your typical
13:52six round pick, he has first round physical tools and he put them on display
13:56last night and I understand why people would jump to holy crap, they found this
14:00guy, but physical tools whenever Joe Milton's issue, he's 24, he played six
14:07years in college and he had consistency issues pretty much throughout.
14:11There's not a ton of growth there in terms of his consistency.
14:14Now I'll say this, his mechanics looked much better last night and he was
14:18good throwing the ball underneath.
14:19And I think he's really put in work with Alex Van Pelt in that regard.
14:24The question is his consistency.
14:29Can he go out and do that again and again and again, because with Joe
14:34Milton, the highs are high and the lows are low and we saw the highs last night.
14:38So, and this isn't me saying like, this isn't me discounting what he did last
14:42night, I think that's incredibly valuable and it's all the item on my roster
14:46projection today, the team should keep him because holy crap, if you are the
14:51team that finally figures out Joe Milton, the reward is monstrous.
14:56It is unlike many rewards out there in the player development game.
15:00His ceiling is tremendous, but it's also very far away and I think
15:06they should hold onto him.
15:07I think they should continue to work with him.
15:09I think they should continue to develop him.
15:11I would even consider him a package player this season, have a couple of
15:15plays as a quarterback where he's in Hail Mary specialist, QB sneak
15:19specialist, just figure out creative ways to use his unique talents, but
15:24let's not jump to the conclusion that he's the starter because he essentially
15:28played two drives and there's a lot more to Joe Milton than what we saw in those
15:34two drives and let's see if he's improved some other parts of his game.
15:38Namely the consistency.
15:40If you can come out and do that again, do it in practice, doing the joint
15:43practice, do it against the Eagles.
15:45Like we'll start having, just like what Drake may, we'll start having the
15:47conversation about moving up his valuation, but you only saw part of the
15:53picture with Joe Milton last night.
15:54That's what I would say.
15:55Yep.
15:56Yeah.
15:57He played 20 snaps and it was fourth quarter of the preseason.
16:00So as exciting and electric as the play where he's running around the
16:04backfield, like the longest 12 yard scramble of all time, probably like.
16:09It's not going to cut it maybe in week three of the regular season
16:12again, starting NFL players, but you do give him credit.
16:16Like you mentioned he was accurate taking stuff underneath his
16:20mechanics, look a lot better.
16:21Like me and Evan were talking while we were waiting in the interview
16:24room, like his feet in the pocket.
16:27Like he looks a little bit more bouncy.
16:28He's moving around well back there.
16:31Um, he did almost have, like, he got kind of lucky.
16:34He tried to drive one out to Keisha on booty.
16:36I think it was Keisha on booty.
16:37And it might almost was a pick six.
16:39It was close to that, but you know, he rebounds nice with the touchdown.
16:42So the physical tools, as you said, are obviously there and you saw that
16:46and that's worth building upon.
16:48What we don't have to do is the whole Malik Cunningham thing.
16:51Like last year, let's just start Malik Cunningham.
16:54Now he is, it's more than Malik Cunningham.
16:57Cause he's an actual, he's an actual quarterback.
17:00He's better.
17:01So the there there's more to it, but we do not need to do the whole.
17:06Is he starting right?
17:07Like, is he going to jump Drake may like we're, we're nowhere near
17:11that part yet.
17:13And I saw someone in the chat say like the ideal outcome, old man, mom had it
17:19here, like the ideal outcome for Joe Milton, assuming Drake may is the guy
17:24is like, yes, he lights it up in the preseason and then someone will give
17:27you a fifth or a fourth, third, higher pick, um, to take a chance on those
17:32tools that, and you know, if he can string some consistency together in
17:36the preseason here going forward.
17:38I don't know about this year.
17:39I think that's like a two to three year thing.
17:41I don't think that's going to happen right now, but, um, yeah, I absolutely
17:48be excited about it.
17:50I it's just, it's, if you don't watch college football, it's hard
17:53to put it in the proper context.
17:54If you didn't watch Joe Milton, Tennessee, it's hard to put it in the proper
17:57context, boomer boss player.
18:00And that's on a play to play basis.
18:02Like you said, he had some exciting plays last night.
18:03He almost threw a pick six.
18:05That's kind of what you're going to get.
18:07You just need to see consistency from him.
18:09You were never going to see that in one game, but he did play.
18:10Well, he deserves credit for that.
18:13He should make the roster.
18:15That doesn't mean he's about to be the starting quarterback.
18:17Yep.
18:19Anything else on the QBs there or the plan expects much

20:04All right.
20:04We talked about the offensive line a bit there with, you know, Drake may in
20:08Jacoby preset, but we'll just do a little bit more on them here.
20:12We did see, you know, city.
20:14So was limited Tuesday.
20:15He was back in, he started, uh, David Andrews, big Michael.
20:19When you rounded out that interior three and then the Darien low was the left
20:22tackle Chuks core for, uh, was the starting right tackle.
20:25He hasn't practiced in the last three sessions either.
20:28So that was kind of encouraging.
20:30Um, I, I know again, we, we talked about them, but was there any other takeaways
20:35you had from that starting unit?
20:36And then, you know, maybe even going into that, that second unit with, you
20:40know, the likes of Caden Robinson or Caden Wallace late in Robinson,
20:44those, those guys in the second.
20:45I mean, the top tackles were rough, low struggle to block penalty from
20:51Chuks core for he got walked back once second unit, I thought Wallace, I
20:55mean, he had some rookie moments, but I thought there was some encouraging
20:59signs there, which all the more reason to put them with the top group.
21:02Um, and then I thought Nick Leverett played well and he continues to kind
21:06of establish himself as that backup center.
21:08So, yeah, he had that, that one pancake on the Kevin Harris run where he
21:13just finished the dude into the end zone.
21:15He looked good.
21:16Um, Oh wow.
21:18We have some breaking news.
21:20Oh, wow.
21:20What's that according to Ian rapport, the Patriots are releasing
21:25wide receiver Juju Smith Schuster.
21:28How about that?
21:33Juju Smith Schuster.
21:35Okay.
21:35So, I mean, that was expected, maybe not now, but that was, although I was
21:42kind of getting to the point where I figured they might just do this in
21:47training camp to free up more snaps and you know, he is a veteran, so maybe
21:52just give him the chance if, if someone would even want to take a shot at him,
21:58like give him a chance to go out there and find new work, but yeah, I'll be honest.
22:04My, my first rewatch, I still need to get through the game one or two more times.
22:08I was mostly looking at the receivers and the quarterbacks, or sorry,
22:11the lineman and the quarterbacks.
22:12I wonder if there was something they saw last night.
22:16That was just like, he's completely done.
22:19Yeah.
22:20I mean, he's looked on in, in practice.
22:22He's had drop issues.
22:24He hasn't been gaining any separation.
22:25The body language just doesn't look at like he's mentally there.
22:29Like he looks like someone who kind of knows he he's done.
22:33So this, this would be interesting.
22:35Um, now that he's out there, if someone would take a chance or maybe
22:39retirement is in the picture, but, um, it is released him makes me think
22:45there's still a chance he can play.
22:48Or sorry, the fact they released him makes me think he thinks there's
22:52still a chance he can play because if he was going to retire, he would have
22:56retired, I think he's going to go and see what the interest is.
22:59Yep.
23:00So that is, I was pulling them up 9.6, 3 million dead cap hit this year.
23:06They obviously have the money that they can eat that and make that work.
23:10And then it's a 2.6 dead cap next year, but they'll free up seven and a half
23:15million, uh, in savings in that process.
23:18So, yeah, I mean, it's the writing was on the wall kind of throughout camp.
23:23Like he was looking very slow again, just not like doesn't have any
23:28explosiveness left to, um, um, seemed like it was headed in this way and
23:33he's been passed on the depth chart by, you know, the rookies and KJ Osborne
23:37and probably Taekwon, Jalen Rager, Keishon booty even.
23:41So it seemed like this is where it was headed, but yeah, there you go.
23:44Juju Smith Schuster, uh, officially released, not the greatest Patriots
23:49tenure, I would say, but the, uh, Juju era here in, in new England is over.
23:55So, uh, any, anything else there with Juju?
23:59We can talk about the receivers in a second, but.
24:01Yeah.
24:02I mean, I, we, we've talked about him a bunch.
24:04I was going to say, we're going to need something to talk about now on the
24:05show and we need a force and you know, a downtake because he's been the guy,
24:09but he's kind of just been penciled into our stock downs or losers.
24:14Yeah.
24:15So well, Mitchell Wilcox is still here.
24:17Young room now, young room.
24:20I guess that's my big takeaway.
24:21I had said this.
24:22If Juju Smith Schuster, if there would be, would ask me like, what is the
24:25argument for him to make the roster?
24:27Like if he has a chance, it's that he was a veteran and I Kendrick
24:32born is an experienced player.
24:34I think born's the only one.
24:36How long has Rager been in the league?
24:38This is year five for Rager five.
24:42So born, this is born's eighth year.
24:46Osborne and Rager are going into their fifth year and then Taekwon is this
24:52third year and that, and then everyone else is a first or second year player.
24:57Young room, young, young room.
25:00And look, you can get, you can absolutely get by with that.
25:03Um, but yeah, I thought that if he was going to make it, that's how he's going to make it.
25:09Yep.
25:10All right.
25:11Uh, we'll get back to that room, but we were talking about the offensive
25:14line before, uh, that news broke.
25:18Um, Caden Wallace.
25:20Yeah, he played left.
25:21He played right.
25:22We've seen that in camp.
25:23I thought there were some encouraging signs there.
25:26Um, probably their best tackle last night, you know, cause low and a
25:30core four didn't look great, but, uh, do you think maybe we'll get into that
25:34joint practice and we'll, we'll see Caden Wallace back up with the top unit or
25:38I hope so practice practice Sunday and Monday as well.
25:41So do you think we might see some movement at that top unit?
25:45If not, I'm, I'm going to be really worried because that means that they
25:48saw Vidarian low out there and just go, or they're going with that.
25:51Like I, even if it's not Caden Wallace, just somebody else, Calvin Anderson,
25:56somebody else that left tackle, they need to give somebody else to try.
26:00Yep.
26:01Um, and you know, as Gerard Mayo said, they are working out some guys, uh, today.
26:07So we'll see if there's anyone intriguing on that list.
26:09And if they make a move there, they have a roster spot.
26:11Now that they, you know, cut Juju Smith Schuster.
26:14Uh, so, so we'll see what happens there, but to that receiver room, uh, anyone
26:19stand out to you last night, we got a lot of, let me pull up the snaps again here.
26:26I'm on Juju's contract.
26:27We got a lot of a good amount of Jalen Polk.
26:30Uh, Jayvon Baker got a fair share of run.
26:32Sean booty led the team in, uh, yards or receiving yards there.
26:36Did any, uh, of those young guys who got a good amount of
26:39runs stand out to you last night?
26:41I occasionally booty had a really good start.
26:43He struggled late in that game.
26:44He had a drop.
26:45He misplayed a ball over his head, but I he's had a few good practices and I
26:48think he's building momentum item on my roster projection I put up this morning.
26:52A 98 father sports hub.com Taekwondo got open deep once, which I guess is good,
26:57but like, there's still the issue with the injuries and all that.
27:00Um, I think booty was the big winner.
27:02From the wide receiver position last night.
27:05Yeah.
27:05I don't think he finished great.
27:06And it's still just that inconsistencies you see with him, but, um, he started
27:11well, like that 28 yard catch was, you know, pretty impressive.
27:14So, um, we'll see if he can build off that, uh, Polk, just nothing flashy,
27:21but you see what we've seen in camp where he can be and Baker were pretty
27:25much what we've seen, what we've seen.
27:27Yeah.
27:27Baker like hit or miss, right.
27:30He had like that really nice body control catch along the sideline.
27:33It got wiped out cause of a penalty.
27:35Um, and then Polk, just that reliable chain mover, you saw the strong hands
27:39on, I think it was the second, uh, reception.
27:41So just more of what you've seen from the rookies, which was encouraging.
27:44Uh, and then Taekwon.
27:46Yeah.
27:46Like he got open downfield on that one pass.
27:49Um, unfortunately it was kind of underthrown, but got some vertical
27:53separation, which was nice at his usage.
27:56Surprise you at all.
27:58The fact that he only got, I don't see him on the list.
28:03Uh, he got seven, he got seven snaps and then kind of just got pulled.
28:08So yeah.
28:10Was that the injury do you think?
28:12Or are they viewing him as a starter?
28:15Do you think?
28:17No, I think that's the injury that I was surprised he played as much as he did.
28:20I didn't think he was going to play at all.
28:21I wonder if there was a, he made a point or the team made a point of, if you're
28:25going to make the scene, we need to see that like you can physically take it.
28:28And we know you're banged up a little bit, but we want you to play through it.
28:31Cause you're going to need to be able to do that.
28:33Um, yeah, I was surprised to play as much as he did.
28:36Yep.
28:37Uh, the only receiver, other receiver note I'll have is I'll just
28:40give Jaquay Jackson a shout out.
28:42Like he runs some smooth routes.
28:44He had a really nice up and out for that touchdown.
28:47Not going to make the 53 man roster, right.
28:49And that deep receiver room, but he looks the part of like just a really
28:53scout team practice squad, a wide receiver.
28:56So maybe he'll stick around in that role if he can build off a good game last
29:01night, but, uh, that's the receiver room running backs.
29:06So a lot of Kevin Harris, he was kind of third up behind Ramond Ray and Antonio
29:11Gibson, and then good to manage Michael Hasty in a little bit of Terrell Jennings.
29:16I still, I love Terrell Jennings.
29:19He runs hard.
29:20He breaks tackles.
29:21He had the biggest run of the night.
29:22He broke off like a 20 yard arrow, which looked, uh, blocked pretty
29:25well on the right side there.
29:27But a couple of missed tackles for us.
29:28I think he was at over like four and a half yards after contact, which kind of.
29:33You know, matches up with his college production the last year.
29:36So, uh, he might be pushing RB three duties in my mind, but Kevin Harris
29:42still seemed to have the role, like the usage for an RB three last night.
29:46Yeah.
29:46They gave Kevin Harris a ton of run.
29:48I think they wanted to give him an opportunity to get ready.
29:50I think Terrell Jennings and he was impressive, but I think he's a player
29:53you look at gets to the practice squad and if, and when running back injuries
29:58happen, cause they're kind of inevitable in the modern game, he'll be that, that
30:02next man up from the practice squad.
30:04Yep.
30:05Uh, and then anything in the tight end room?
30:08I mean, Mitchell Wilcox continued.
30:10Yeah.
30:10He's struggling with his hands.
30:12So my thing, let me requalify my take.
30:14Cause I had a bunch of people tweeting at me last night and I get it.
30:16Like you need to give up on Mitchell Wilcox.
30:19My point was never that Mitchell Wilcox was a good player.
30:21You never believed in Mitchell Wilcox on the roster, right?
30:26The team is treating him the way they would treat a player
30:28they plan to have on the roster.
30:29They were giving him the most opportunities to win a roster spot.
30:33It seemed like they wanted him on the roster.
30:36I think at this point, it's clear.
30:38He did not capitalize on those opportunities, the drops and
30:43they're excessive, but he is a blocking tight end, but he wasn't
30:45even great blocking last night.
30:47I did my, again, I posted a roster projection this morning,
30:50nine, eight, five, the sports hub.com.
30:52I think they're going to keep three tight ends.
30:54I just left veteran TBD tight end acquisition, like just like
30:58last year with Pharaoh Brown.
30:59I think they're going to go find, they want a blocking tight end.
31:01That's pretty clear.
31:03Wilcox has not risen to the occasion.
31:05I haven't been overly impressed with Jacob Warren.
31:08Pet ways, more of a receiver.
31:09He's not a blocker.
31:10Jaheim Bell's his own thing.
31:11I think he's going to start the season on the practice squad, although
31:14he had a nice catch and run last night.
31:15I think they're going to just like they did with Pharaoh Brown last year, go
31:18find a veteran blocking tight end somewhere during roster cuts, and he'll
31:22be the third tight end because Mitchell Wilcox, maybe he's six on the practice
31:25squad as like depth, but he's not played like a player that's earned
31:29a roster spot at this point.
31:31Yep.
31:32And well, Michael Patway is kind of behind him.
31:34He had a penalty.
31:35So not a great night from kind of those depth tight ends.
31:38We didn't see any Hunter Henry, uh, Hooper got one series, I think with
31:43and then, so it was most of those depth guys and it wasn't an overly, uh,
31:47impressive night, although I did like the Jaheim Bell catch you mentioned.
31:50It was kind of that block and release in the flat.
31:53And then, you know, you see the yards after catch skills.
31:55I think he, you know, first down 10, 11 yards there.
31:57So, uh, intriguing skill set.
31:59We'll just, but he's again, more of that.
32:02He's not a traditional tight end.
32:04He's certainly not going to be like a hand in the dirt blocking tight end.
32:06He's going to have a kind of unique role.
32:08So maybe there is a, you know, a veteran that should have just kept Pharaoh Brown.
32:12And he would be perfect, but, uh, he's out in Seattle, so we'll see if it
32:17will, we'll see how that kind of shakes out if someone else gets added to that
32:20group, but, um, anything else on the offense?
32:25I think that was mostly pretty much covers it.
32:28Yeah, that was most of them.
32:30So, uh, we'll flip over to the defense before we do that.
32:34Prize picks is America's number one daily fantasy sports app with
32:38over 5 million active members.
32:40And it's the easiest and most exciting way to play daily fantasy sports.
32:44Unlike other apps on prize picks, it's just you against the numbers as you
32:47pick just more or less on two to six player stat projections and watch
32:51the winnings rolled in with prize picks.
32:54You could turn $10 into 1000 while watching team USA close one yesterday
32:58for the basketball team, but they, they won, uh, you can watch them
33:02rack up the gold medals this summer.
33:04You can make prize picks lineup of players on basketball team, as well
33:08as soccer, tennis, golf, and more in as little as 60 seconds.
33:12And if you're looking for promotions, prize picks has got you covered every
33:15week from lowering select player stat projections on Tuesdays to help your
33:18lineup hit or getting your entry fees back.
33:21If you have a losing lineup on Fridays, that's today's, uh, download prize
33:25pick app today and use code C L N S for a first deposit match up to $100.
33:31That's code C L N S on prize picks for a first deposit match up to $100.
33:35Pick more, pick less.
33:37It's that easy over on prize picks, uh, to the defense, defensive
33:43line and the front seven dominated.
33:45I think it was like a 50 over 50% pressure rate.
33:49Uh, Jeremiah farms, give it up for him.
33:52Give it up for Taylor big night for her.
33:54Those two in the Jeremiah farms hive, uh, five pressures for him.
33:59Oh, shades of Menez, who we've been talking to a lot about this summer.
34:02Like was he was as disruptive along the edge.
34:05Uh, some really good pressure throughout and some encouraging performances
34:09from those guys up front there.
34:12Yeah.
34:12I thought Jeremiah farms might've been like the best player on
34:15the field last night for them.
34:16Um, and we know we can play the run, but as getting interior pressure and look,
34:21he'll need to do it against better competition, but that's what they're
34:23going to miss the most with Christian Barmore.
34:25And I don't think Jeremiah farms is going to play the level Christian
34:27Barmore, but to be able to get some sort of interior pressure
34:30presence is very encouraging.
34:33I don't know that I felt better walking away from that game last night,
34:36about any player than Jeremiah farms.
34:38Yeah, he was really good.
34:40And I think he only played like 80 snaps down the stretch, maybe
34:44not even that many, uh, last year.
34:46But there was a little sign of that, like a little juice from the nose tackle
34:49spot and then, yeah, as you said, we know we can kind of play the run.
34:52So he's an intriguing guy.
34:54He was probably on my roster projection going into the night
34:58and definitely solidified that.
34:59I don't know it was, was he on your projection this morning?
35:02And yeah, I, I hit him on item on from the beginning.
35:05I had the last, the only one I decided last night up front was, um, I left
35:09one spot for Tristan Hill or Mike Purcell, whoever impressed me more.
35:12And I gave that to Tristan Hill.
35:15I thought he was a sneaky good last night as well.
35:17So.
35:18Yep.
35:19He had, I think a couple of pressures at least, or at least one.
35:22So, uh, he's content.
35:26That probably should have been a strip sack.
35:30Wasn't that him?
35:30Was that the one that got called back or like they ruled them down?
35:34I think they're ruling incomplete.
35:36I think they said his hand was, Oh yes, yes, yes.
35:38There were weird reviews like that all night.
35:40It's the rest were annoying last night.
35:42That's what you get when it's Jake Plummer and or not Jack, Jack Plummer
35:47and Jake Lutton over there for Carolina taking care of the ball.
35:51So, um, yeah.
35:53Tristan Hill, are you surprised by Mike Purcell's just usage kind of right
35:58out of the gate here for a guy who signed a week ago?
36:01No, just cause he's, he's 33 years old.
36:03That's been here before.
36:04I'll be it briefly.
36:05Um, yeah, I, he seems like a guy that comes in, we'd come in ready to go.
36:11Yep.
36:12Uh, PFF had Tristan Hill with two pressures.
36:14So yes, there's some good pressure from him.
36:17And, and yeah, I think it was one of those weird strip sack maybe plays.
36:20So, um, other like front seven guys, uh, just John Morgan had a couple of
36:28pressures, Christian Ellis for a guy who was a pure specialist, right.
36:32They're moving away from those type of guys.
36:34Like I thought Christian Ellis was a really good, had a sack
36:38kind of flash some physicality.
36:39And then William Bradley Kane, who has made some plays in camp as well.
36:44And if, you know, talk to talkie is on the pup, maybe that opens up a spot for,
36:48uh, you know, Bradley Harris there.
36:50So they, Rayquan McMillan started, I think that's relevant.
36:54Um, I would say to O'Shane's event has had a pressure at
36:58a big hit on special teams.
37:00I thought he had a good night.
37:02He dropped that guy on special teams.
37:03He's fun to watch.
37:04There's a great picture of it too.
37:05That's going around.
37:06Oh, is it?
37:07I don't know if you've seen that one.
37:08He, he is, he, yeah, he, he's definitely going to make the team.
37:13It seems like, so, um, good, good game from him.
37:16I almost had a safety there at the end, one of his pressures.
37:19So, uh, good night from him.
37:22Uh, Dietrich wise, just one snap, one sack.
37:26Just cool to see, to see that.
37:28Just, he's ready to go.
37:30Yeah.
37:30Dietrich wise is what is ready to go there.
37:32So, uh, and Anthony Jennings looked like Anthony Jennings along the edge there.
37:35He got a little run there early.
37:37So, um, Not much from Keon white, but maybe not expecting much from Keon white,
37:42but anyone else there kind of that front seven, uh, that, that, that stood out to
37:48Um, I think that's pretty much it for me.
37:51Yeah.
37:51Um, secondary, uh, Gonzalez started, it was Gonzalez, Marco Wilson, and Sean
37:58Wade were the top three cornerback duo or trio.
38:02Are you expecting that?
38:03Or did that kind of surprise you that, you know, Wilson and Sean Wade were the
38:07first, first two up there opposite Gonzalez.
38:11Yeah, a little bit, uh, Marco Wilson, especially, I just, I didn't thought,
38:15you know, they might give it to the younger guys, Isaiah Bolden, um, uh,
38:19Marcella style way.
38:20I still think Wade's going to make the team.
38:22I know people are kind of over him, but an important thing to consider.
38:27If they're going to play John Jones on the boundary, Marcus Jones,
38:29you're starting slot corner.
38:30He gets hurt a lot.
38:31They don't have another true slot corner.
38:33Dial has played there, but not a ton, uh, uh, played there, but not a ton.
38:39Like Wade's your primary soccer.
38:42If we see Isaiah Bolden or Marcella style, I don't think it will happen with
38:45Marco Wilson, but I'll throw them in there.
38:47If we see one of those guys start playing in slot a ton in the next week or two,
38:50that's not a great sign for Sean Wade, but I think they're planning on Sean
38:53Wade being a member of this team.
38:55Yeah.
38:56I mean, we've talked about it a lot.
38:57Like he was really good in the slot last summer and then injuries in the regular
39:03season kind of forced them back to the outside, but now that he's back in the
39:07slot in camp, you've seen them even in the red, non-contact Jersey at times.
39:11Like he's been pretty active.
39:13He had a couple of pass breakups.
39:15So then last night, starting in the slot had another pass breakup.
39:18So I know like Evan was saying after the game, he wants to go with the young guys
39:23and you know, with Isaiah Bolden and Marcellus dial, which, you know, I get,
39:27but the usage and, you know, the level of play from Sean Wade, I thought it's
39:30been pretty encouraging and might be a sign that, that he's on the roster here.
39:35Yeah.
39:36Yeah.
39:36I it's, there's going to be an odd man out.
39:38It's going to be tough or maybe two between Wade Bolden dial and who's the
39:44fourth one I'm missing there.
39:45Wade Bolton dial Wilson.
39:47Well, it's going to be an odd man out there and I it's, it's tough.
39:50I think it might be just based off last night.
39:52Is Alex Austin in that group too?
39:54I have Alex Austin on, I still think Austin's like a half step ahead of those
39:58guys, but if you want to throw them in there, um, but yeah, it's going to be
40:02interesting to see how that, how that breaks out.
40:04Yep.
40:06Uh, I just looked Bolden, Isaiah Bolden played nine snaps in the
40:10slot and seven out wide PFF had them.
40:12So maybe, uh, obviously it was behind Sean Wade, but he, he was still
40:16getting, you know, versatile looks there.
40:18So we'll see if his usage, how, how that continues to track, but, um,
40:24back end, no Duggar, no peppers as kind of expected.
40:28We got a good amount, a little bit of Jalen Hawkins.
40:30I thought James Hawkins played a good amount.
40:32Yeah.
40:33Yeah.
40:33Um, I was trying to find a snaps here.
40:37Maybe he didn't hold on.
40:39Did he not?
40:39I felt like I saw him out there.
40:40Good amount.
40:41Schooler got some good run at safety.
40:42He even played Hawkins only played 11 snaps.
40:45I felt like he was like, I saw more than that.
40:47Yeah.
40:47Um, and then yeah.
40:49Schooler, where was he?
40:53Schooler got some good run at safety Dell Pettis.
40:56So, all right, let me ask you this one.
40:58Uh, Ross battle, most snaps, 45 defensive snaps.
41:03Dell Pettis schooler with eight defensive snaps.
41:06I thought he played more.
41:07He was out there early though.
41:08I feel like, um, Dell Pettis or Joshua Bledsoe for the last safety spot
41:16on the roster or on the roster, the squad on the roster, on the roster.
41:22They're going to, cause I, so your three like primary starting
41:25safeties, right, are peppers Duggar Hawkins.
41:30Yeah. Schooler's going to be there, but I still think him playing safety
41:33is a break glass in case of emergency thing.
41:34I do think they'd like to have a buffer there.
41:37And that to me is Joshua Bledsoe or Dell Pettis.
41:40And I'm, I'm giving it to Pettis right now.
41:42So a lot of time to go up and hardly locking that in, but I think
41:45I'm giving it to Pettis right now.
41:46Yeah.
41:47Uh, I mean, I think they've like, they've talked so highly of Joshua
41:52Bledsoe the past few years, but new coaching staff, like, uh, the
41:57secondary and defense is the same, but still like Joshua Bledsoe is
42:03kind of Joshua Bledsoe, like maybe there's a point where you just take
42:06the younger guy and Dell Pettis is flashed and he he's been pretty
42:09encouraging, even though he's.
42:12Flash the physicality.
42:13Like, I think he played more of that free safety too, in a Troy.
42:17So that's another, maybe free safety in the mix there where, you
42:19know, uh, Bledsoe is that box safety.
42:21So I'd probably lean Pettis.
42:23I'd probably be with you right now.
42:25I'll take the youth and maybe upside over a guy who they like, but you
42:29kind of know who he is and Joshua Bledsoe at this point in his career.
42:33Yeah.
42:34Um, so yeah, I think a little bit, or a lot of AJ Thomas too, or they
42:40just signed, but, uh, he's probably behind all of those guys there.
42:44Uh, he's only been here a week, but, um, yeah.
42:49Anything else?
42:50Do you defensively?
42:51I thought, I think that's pretty much it just, yep.
42:55Some of those, again, those front seven guys, they, the, the
42:58pressures were off the charts.
42:59Like John Morgan, give credit to him too easy sacks, but he made the
43:03plays and then, you know, well, Bradley Kane, a couple of past deflections.
43:06And, uh, those guys were swarming around all night.
43:09Gave the Panthers Panthers front some issues.
43:11So, oh yeah.
43:12Someone said Mikey Victor, he had another pass breakup, uh, showed
43:16off that length and then he almost had the interception too.
43:18So a good call as well.
43:20That, that whole quarterback room.
43:23Well, yeah, I think most years, Victor would be a guy would be
43:26talking about for roster spot.
43:27It's just, it's ahead of him, but he's somebody, if they can give
43:31him to the practice squad, we'll revisit next year and debt, like
43:34definitely it has a chance to be an NFL player.
43:37It's just, there's a, he's got a lot of competition on this roster.
43:40Yeah.
43:41Even like his easy Hern.
43:42Uh, he was, I have to watch it back a little more closely, but he PFF
43:47graded him as their highest rated coverage man as easy Hern last night.
43:51So, but there's just, again, there, there's some trouble
43:55tackling last night though.
43:56That was what I noticed from him.
43:57I did think the tackling as a whole was pretty well, or pretty good for
44:01the, you know, first preseason game.
44:03I know they've done some live, uh, tackling drills, so maybe that
44:07helped, but I thought as a whole, uh, did they tackled pretty well?
44:12Uh, last night, but yeah, it was easy.
44:14Her and maybe it was one of those guys who had some issues.
44:17Um, I think that's it for defense special teams.
44:21We saw the kickoff for the first time.
44:24Any takeaways?
44:26I mean, Mayo said this morning, like it's pretty vanilla scheme
44:30wise in the preseason here, but any takeaways from that, that kickoff
44:35now that we finally got to see a little bit of it, not too many kickoffs, but
44:38we got to see a little bit of it live.
44:40Um, yeah, I, I, the one thing that stood out to me seeing it live is there,
44:45there were a few times where I was like, Oh, there's a hole like right.
44:48As the return is about to get there close so quick.
44:51And I think there's going to be as a much more of a bang, bang
44:54play now than it was in the past.
44:55And I think quick in the past is speed for kick returns.
44:59Quickness for punt returns was kind of how you looked at it.
45:02And I think quickness is going to play a much bigger role in kick returns now.
45:06Yep.
45:07Can see that.
45:08Uh, the one thing I'll say is on their coverage, we talked a lot, like in the
45:13spring, when we were trying to game plan for this, like if they would layer their
45:16coverage, right?
45:17Like you don't want 11 guys across.
45:19It seemed like, I think they had two defensive backs playing the edge and they
45:23like had those guys kind of drop back.
45:25So they would form a second kind of wall.
45:27It was like them and then Ryland in the middle or whoever kicked off.
45:30So they would have like three guys behind seemed like they were like
45:33staggering their coverage, which we kind of expected, but just see it in the first
45:36game, live action kind of play out like that.
45:38So, um, that was the first kickoff action.
45:42Uh, punt returned quickly.
45:45David Wallace just gave him some flowers.
45:47Like he was very good, set up their first, uh, touchdown drive
45:50with a couple of nice returns.
45:51So, uh, give him some credit in the return game.
45:54Bryce Berenger just looked like Bryce Berenger, no preseason needed for him.
45:58He's been really good in camp and, uh, one touchback, but three downed inside
46:02the 20 last night, so he was good.
46:03But, uh, kicker battle, you were kind of going back and forth on who you thought
46:10was winning the kicker battle.
46:11We saw, uh, two extra points from Chad Ryland.
46:13He made both Joey Sly got the 42 yard field goal.
46:16He made that.
46:17They seem to be just rotating these guys that went like Ryland, extra
46:21points, sly field goal, Ryland, extra points.
46:23So maybe not too much to read into the order, but you were kind of going back
46:27and forth on who you, uh, were thinking it was winning this battle so far.
46:31Where are you at with that?
46:32Uh, and just thoughts on the kickers last night.
46:35Well, drawn Mayo said this morning, it's still wide open.
46:38I believe that.
46:39Like, I, I don't think there's been anything definitive, but if I had to pick
46:42somebody today, I think it's Chad Ryland.
46:43Cause he's been better from that 30 to 49 yard range and that's
46:47ultimately what matters.
46:48Sly's had a bit bigger leg, but I think you're going to be aggressive, you
46:51know, in those 50 plus yard situations and maybe go for it.
46:54And so, yeah, I, I think Ryland's been better where it matters most.
46:58So I would give the edge to Ryland right now, but like I said, uh, I agree
47:02with Mayo that it's, it's still wide open
47:04long way to go.
47:05Long way to go.
47:06Lots of practices.
47:08Um, who may have kind of said like there's a, the importance of practice
47:12in that competition is pretty big, but, um, two games left two in the
47:16preseason to decide that.
47:17So, uh, yeah, long way to go there, but, uh, I think that's it for players
47:23before we get out of here, I'll ask you.
47:27It was Gerard Mayo's first game.
47:29It was the first time Alex van Peltz called plays in a long time, even
47:33though it was, you know, just basic kind of fundamental stuff.
47:36He wasn't, you know, setting stuff up there and the preseason call and plays,
47:41but the Marcus Covington's first time call and plays Jeremy Springer's
47:45first time running the ship.
47:46Mayo said they had like a walkthrough in the stadium on Wednesday.
47:51He said the communication was, you know, good throughout the game.
47:54Although there's a few things to clean up on, uh, watching the sideline.
47:58It looked like, as you would expect van Peltz and TC McCartney were in the
48:01quarterback's ear every time they came to the sideline.
48:04So was there any glaring observation from you on just the whole coaching
48:10staff operation and their first kind of real dress rehearsal dry run last night?
48:15Yeah.
48:15Just some procedural offense penalties that need to be cleaned up.
48:18That was the one thing that stood out to me.
48:20Uh, I thought for the most part it was a clean operation.
48:22Yep.
48:23No, didn't look like they did have one play.
48:26Uh, it was Dietrich Wise's sack.
48:29They only had 10 players on the field, didn't come back to hurt them, but, uh,
48:33yeah, that you have the preseason to try to, you know, hammer out those
48:36substitution errors and those things.
48:37But it looked cleanly, uh, Mayo did throw one challenge flag.
48:40He lost.
48:41We didn't see, I've been trying to find a replay of where it was
48:44keeping the challenge flag.
48:46If it was in a, I don't think, yeah, I didn't see that.
48:48But, um, cause he came, yeah.
48:52I don't think it was in his sock, but it must've been in some pocket
48:55somewhere, or I don't know if he had someone holding it for him.
48:57Maybe we'll have to ask him to see or get a better replay of it.
49:00So, uh, maybe we'll see on that, but, um, I think that is it.
49:05Any last thoughts from preseason game one, nice game, some game action, even
49:12though we didn't see exactly the quarterbacks we wanted to see, but, uh,
49:16any last thoughts or maybe a quick early look ahead, we have again, Sunday,
49:21Monday practices, and then Eagles are here for Tuesday joint practice.
49:26Any, anything you're looking forward to?
49:28Uh, just, I want to see what the new offensive line looks like.
49:32I'll see what it looks like and yeah.
49:34How they are the offensive line.
49:36Not much has changed there.
49:37Yeah.
49:38Same things we're looking forward to, but all right.
49:41We'll wrap it up there.
49:42Uh, again, practice third or Sunday.
49:46It's the season ticket holder practice down at, uh, Gillette.
49:49So, um, if you are able to go to that would definitely recommend.
49:53And if you're not, we will be back to recap the practice right here.
