Transcript
00:00Today, we also remember St. Cajetan, a great Counter-Reformation saint who was a Catholic
00:24Reformer, really, who helped to strengthen the Catholic faith and reform the Church.
00:31In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:36We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:42Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy, may Almighty God have mercy on us,
00:51forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:55Turn ye to your servants, O Lord, and answer their prayers with unceasing kindness, that
01:02for those who glory in you, as their Creator and Guide, you may restore what you have created
01:19and keep safe what you have restored, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives
01:24and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever, Amen.
01:35A reading from the Prophet Jeremiah.
01:39I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, it is the Lord who speaks, and they shall
01:44be my people.
01:46The Lord says this, they have found pardon in the wilderness, and also have survived
01:52the sword.
01:55Israel is marching to his rest, the Lord has appeared to him from afar, I have loved you
02:01with an everlasting love, so I am constant in my affection for you.
02:07I build you once more, you shall be rebuilt, Virgin of Israel, adorned once more, and with
02:15your trombones you will go out dancing gaily, you will plant vineyards once more, on the
02:22mountains of Samaria, the planters have done their planting, they will gather the fruit,
02:29yes, a day will come when the watchmen shout, on the mountains of Ephraim, ah, let us go
02:36to Zion, for the Lord our God, for the Lord says this, shout with joy for Jacob, hail
02:44the chief of nations, proclaim, praise, shout, the Lord has saved his people, the remnant
02:51of Israel.
02:54The word of the Lord, thanks be to God, the Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding
03:00his flock, the Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock, all nations hear the word
03:07of the Lord, proclaim it to the far off coasts, say he who scattered Israel will gather him,
03:13and guard him as a shepherd guards his flock, the Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding
03:19his flock, for the Lord has ransomed Jacob, has saved him from an overpowering hand, they
03:26will come and shout for joy on Mount Zion, they will stream to the blessings of the Lord,
03:32the Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock, then the young girls will rejoice
03:37and dance, the men young and old will be glad, I will turn their mourning into joy, I will
03:44console them, give gladness for grief, the Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:52Alleluia, alleluia, a great prophet has appeared among us, God has visited his people, alleluia.
04:00The Lord be with you, a reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew, glory to you O Lord,
04:11Jesus left Genazareth and withdrew to the region of Tyre and Zion,
04:16then out came a Canaanite woman from that district and started shouting,
04:21sir son of David take pity on me, my daughter is tormented by a devil,
04:27but he answered her not a word and his disciples went and pleaded with him,
04:32give her what she wants they said because she's shouting after us, he said in reply I was sent
04:39only to the house to the lost sheep of the house of Israel but the woman had come up and was kneeling
04:45at his feet, Lord she said help me, he replied it's not fair to take the children's food and
04:53throw it to the house dogs, she retorted ah yes sir but even house dogs can eat the scraps
04:59that fall from the master's table and Jesus answered her woman you have great faith,
05:06let your wish be granted and from that moment her daughter was well again.
05:12The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.
05:18What faith that woman had,
05:22Jesus' awareness of his mission grew with wisdom and understanding and prayer with the father,
05:31he grew in understanding that his mission wasn't just for the house of Israel, it was at first of
05:39course but that's where he started but his mission as he himself said go to the ends of the earth
05:46and proclaim the good news to everybody, so we give thanks that we are part of everybody
05:53that the good news is for all that God's love is universal.
06:04Blessed are you Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this bread to
06:09offer which earth has given human hands have made, it will become for us the bread of life
06:14for us the bread of life, blessed be God forever.
06:34Blessed are you Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this wine to offer
06:40fruit of divine work of human hands, it will become a spiritual drink, blessed be God forever.
06:53Let us pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable
06:58to God our Almighty Father, may the Lord accept the sacrifice at our hands
07:03to the praise and glory of God's name for our good the good of God's holy church.
07:11Graciously sanctify these gifts oh Lord we pray and accepting the oblation of the spiritual
07:16sacrifice make of us an eternal offering to you through Christ our Lord. Amen.
07:22Amen.
07:27The Lord be with you, lift up your hearts, let us give thanks to the Lord our God,
07:34it is truly right and just, more than a duty and good for our salvation, always and everywhere to
07:40give you thanks Father most holy through your beloved Son Jesus Christ, your Word to whom you
07:46made all things, whom you sent as our Savior and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of
07:53the Virgin, fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as
07:59he endured his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection, and so
08:05with the angels and all the saints we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim, holy, holy,
08:12holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna in the highest,
08:19blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
08:25You are indeed holy oh Lord, the fount of all holiness, make holy therefore these gifts we pray
08:31by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body
08:37and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, at the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his
08:43passion he took bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples saying,
08:51take this all of you and eat of it for this is my body which will be given up for you.
08:58In a similar way when supper was ended he took the chalice and once more giving thanks he gave it to
09:05his disciples saying, take this all of you and drink from it for this is the chalice of my blood,
09:12the blood of the new and eternal covenant which will be poured out for you and for many
09:17for the forgiveness of sins, do this in memory of me.
09:23The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim your death oh Lord
09:30until you come again, therefore as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection we
09:37offer you Lord the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've held us
09:42worthy to be the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've held us
09:49giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you,
09:55humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ we may be gathered into one by
10:01the Holy Spirit. Remember Lord your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness
10:07of charity, together with Francis our Pope, Leroy our worthy servant, Eugene our emeritus bishop,
10:13all the clergy who serve your people and your entire family.

10:23and all who have died in your mercy, welcome them into the light of your face,
10:29have mercy on us all we pray that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed
10:34Joseph, best spouse, with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have pleased you throughout
