00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins, but more importantly, compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:26Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.
00:31May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and
00:37life everlasting.
00:39Let us pray.
00:40O God, who caused the minds of the faithful to unite in a single purpose, grant your people
00:46to love what you command, and to desire what you promise, that amid the uncertainties of
00:51this world, our hearts may be fixed on that place where true gladness is found, through
00:58our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy
01:02Spirit, God, for ever and ever, Amen.
01:10A reading of Saint Paul to the Thessalonians, from Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the Church
01:20of Thessalonica, which is in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, wishing you great
01:28grace and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
01:34We feel we must be continually thanking God for you brothers and sisters, quite rightly,
01:41because your faith is growing so wonderful, and the love that you have for one another
01:47never stops increasing, and among the churches of God, we can take special pride in you for
01:54your constancy and faith under all the persecutions and troubles you have to bear.
02:00It all shows that God's judgment is just, and the purpose of it is that you may be found
02:07worthy of the kingdom of God.
02:09It is for the sake of this that you are suffering now.
02:14We pray continually that our God will, by his power, fulfill all your desires for goodness
02:20and complete all that you have been doing through faith, because in this way the name
02:26of our Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in you and you in him, by the grace of our
02:31God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
02:35The word of the Lord.
02:37Thanks be to God.
02:40Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.
02:43Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.
02:46O sing a new song to the Lord, sing to the Lord all the earth.
02:49O sing to the Lord, bless his name.
02:52Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.
02:56Proclaim his help day by day, tell among the nations his glory and his wonders among all
03:01the peoples.
03:03Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.
03:07The Lord is great and high and worthy of praise, to be feared above all gods.
03:12The gods of the heathens are not.
03:15Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.
03:19Alleluia, alleluia.
03:21My sheep listen to my voice, says the Lord.
03:24I know them and they follow me, alleluia.
03:30The Lord be with you.
03:32A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
03:36Glory to you, O Lord.
03:39Jesus said, I ask for you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites, you who shut up the kingdom
03:44of heaven in man's faces, neither going in yourselves nor allowing others to go in who
03:52want to.
03:53I ask for you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites, you who travel over sea and land
03:59to make a single proselyte, and when you save him, you make him twice as good for hell as
04:05you are.
04:06I ask for you, blind guides, you who say, if one swears by the temple, it has no force,
04:14but if one swears by the gold of the temple, they are bound, fools and blind, for which
04:23is of greater worth, the gold or the temple?
04:27What makes the gold sacred?
04:30For else, if one swears by the altar, it has no force, but if one swears by the offering
04:36that is on the altar, they are bound, you blind men, for which is of greater worth,
04:43the offering or the altar?
04:45That makes the offering sacred.
04:47Therefore, when one swears by the altar, they are swearing by that and by everything on
04:54it.
04:55And when one swears by the temple, they are swearing by that and by the one who dwells
05:00in it.
05:01And when one swears by heaven, they are swearing by the throne of God and by the one who is
05:06seated there.
05:10The Gospel of the Lord.
05:13Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:16Jesus is condemning hypocrisy, the lack of openness and humility of the heart.
05:25We are all afraid, we are all weak, and we all need the help of God, but when then we
05:30start negotiating and trying to be lost in all the hypocrisies and things that the Pharisees
05:37were doing, for us it would mean staying on the surface of things, forgetting that it's
05:42love that matters, and forgetting to be transparent and honest before our God, the God who is
05:49love and loves us so much.
05:52And Jesus was trying to wake up the Pharisees, in fact, some of them became disciples and
05:58followed Jesus.
05:59So the call to constant conversion is there for all of us to say yes, yes to our God.
06:14Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this bread
06:17to offer, which earth has given, human hands have made.
06:20It will become for us the bread of life.
06:23Blessed be God forever.
06:38Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this wine
06:42to offer, fruit of the divine work of human hands.
06:45It will become our spiritual drink.
06:47Blessed be God forever.
06:58Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God,
07:03our Almighty Father.
07:05May the Lord accept this sacrifice from our hands, for the praise and glory of God's name,
07:10for our good and the good of God's holy church.
07:14O Lord, you gain for yourself a people by adoption, for you one sacrifice, self-advance
07:19for all.
07:20Bestow graciously on us, we pray, the gifts of unity and peace in your church.
07:25Through Christ our Lord.
07:27Amen.
07:32The Lord be with you.
07:34Lift up your hearts.
07:36Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:39It is truly right and just, much more than a duty and good for our salvation.
07:43Always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father Most Holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus
07:48Christ, your Word through whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer,
07:54incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
07:58Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as
08:03he endued his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
08:10And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we
08:15acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:22Hosanna in the highest.
08:24Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:27Hosanna in the highest.
08:30You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
08:33Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like
08:38did you for that day may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:44At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread and, giving
08:51thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of
08:57it, for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
09:03In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks,
09:13he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this
09:18is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured
09:24out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
09:28Do this in memory of me.
09:36The mystery of faith.
09:38We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:48Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you,
09:53Lord, your bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held
09:58us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:02Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into
10:07one by the Holy Spirit.
10:10Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of
10:14charity.
10:15Together with Francis our Pope, me, your unworthy servant, Eugene, our Emeritus Bishop, all
10:22the clergy who serve your people, and the entire people your Son has gained for you.
10:27Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:32and all who have died in your mercy.
10:35Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:38Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed
10:44Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have pleased you throughout
10:50the ages, we may, through your grace, merit to be coerced with eternal life, and may praise
10:55and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:03Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy
11:08Spirit, all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
11:12Amen.
11:14At the Savior's command, and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say, Our Father, who
11:21art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
11:25Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11:29Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
11:35trespass against us.
11:37And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
11:41Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
11:44Graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always
11:49free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming
11:54of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
11:57For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
12:02Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look
12:09not on our sins, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant her peace and
12:13unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
12:18Amen.
12:19The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
12:22Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:25Peace be with you all.
12:28Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:32Have mercy on us.
12:34Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:37Have mercy on us.
12:39Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:42Grant us peace.
12:59Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
13:02Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
13:05Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my
13:10soul shall be healed.
13:13My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:18I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:23Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
13:30I will embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you.
13:35Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:38Amen.
13:40Let us pray.
13:45Complete within us, O Lord, we pray the healing work of your mercy, and graciously perfect
13:50and sustain us, so that in all things we may please you, through Christ our Lord.
13:55Amen.
13:56The Lord be with you, and may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
14:00and of the Holy Spirit come upon you, and remain always with you.
14:05Let us go and live the Gospel.
14:07Thanks be to God.
14:09God bless your day.
