00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
00:19The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy
00:23Spirit be with you all.
00:30Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins and prepare ourselves to celebrate the
00:35sacred mysteries.
00:40I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in
00:47my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do.
00:52Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault, therefore I ask Blessed
00:58Mary our Virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray
01:03for me to the Lord our God.
01:07May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:14Amen.
01:16Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy,
01:24Lord have mercy.
01:26Let us pray.
01:27Almighty, ever-living God, whom taught by the Holy Spirit, we dare to call our Father,
01:35bring we pray to perfection in our hearts, the spirit of adoption as your sons and daughters,
01:42that we were married to enter into the inheritance which you have promised through our Lord Jesus
01:48Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever
01:54and ever.
01:55Amen.
01:56First reading, a reading from the book of Ezekiel.
02:05The word of the Lord was addressed to me as follows, Son of man, confront Jerusalem
02:14with the filthy crimes, saying, The Lord says this, By origin and birth you belong to the
02:22land of Canaan.
02:25Your father was an Amorite, and your mother a Hittite.
02:31At birth, the very day you were born, there was no one to cut your navel string, or wash
02:38you in cleansing water, or rub you with salt, or wrap you in napkins.
02:48No one leaned kindly over you to do anything like that for you.
02:53You were exposed in the open fields.
02:57You were as unloved as that on the day you were born.
03:04I saw you struggling in your blood as I was passing.
03:10And I said to you as you lay in your blood, live and grow like the grass on the fields.
03:18You developed, you grew, you reached marriageable age.
03:24Your breasts and your hair both grew, but you were quite naked.
03:30Then I saw you as I was passing.
03:34Your time had come, the time for love.
03:38I spread part of my cloak over you and covered your nakedness.
03:43I bound myself by oath.
03:46I made a covenant with you.
03:49It is the Lord who speaks, and you became mine.
03:53I bathed you in water.
03:56I washed the blood of you.
03:58I anointed you with oil.
04:01I gave you embroidered tresses, fine leather shoes, a linen headband, and a cloak of silk.
04:11I loaded you with jewels, gave you bracelets for your wrists and a necklace for your throat.
04:21I gave you nose ring and earrings.
04:25I put a beautiful diadem on your head.
04:30You were loaded with gold and silver and dressed in fine linen and embroidered silks.
04:37Your food was the finest flour, honey and oil.
04:42You grew more and more beautiful, and you rose to be cute.
04:48The fame of your beauty spread through the nations since it was perfect, because I had
04:54clothed you with my own splendor.
04:56It is the Lord who speaks.
05:03You have become infatuated with your own beauty.
05:06You have used your fame to make yourself a prostitute.
05:10You have offered your service to all comers.
05:14But I will remember the covenant that I made with you when you were a girl.
05:20I will conclude a covenant with you that shall last forever.
05:25And so remember and be covered with shame, and in your confusion be reduced to silence.
05:33When I have pardoned you for all that you have done, it is the Lord who speaks.
05:45Word of the Lord.
05:47Thanks be to God.
05:51You have turned from your anger to comfort me.
05:56Truly God is my salvation.
05:58I trust, I shall not fear.
06:01For the Lord is my strength, my song.
06:04He became my Savior.
06:06With joy He will draw water from the wells of salvation.
06:11You have turned from your anger to comfort me.
06:15Give thanks to the Lord, give praise to His name.
06:18Make His mighty deeds known to the peoples.
06:22Declare the greatness of His name.
06:25You have turned from your anger to comfort me.
06:30Sing a psalm to the Lord, for He has done glorious deeds.
06:34Make them known to all the earth.
06:37People of Zion, sing and shout for John.
06:40For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.
06:45You have turned from your anger to comfort me.
06:50Alleluia, Alleluia.
06:53Receive this message not as human words, but as truly the word of God.
06:59Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
07:04The Lord be with you.
07:06And with your spirit.
07:08A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew.
07:15Some Pharisees approached Jesus, and to test Him they said,
07:21Is it against the law for a man to divorce his wife on any pretext whatever?
07:28He answered, Have you not read that the Creator from the beginning made them male and female,
07:36and that He said, This is why a man must leave father and mother and cling to his wife,
07:44and the two become one body?
07:47They are no longer two, they are but one body.
07:51So then, what God has united, man must not divide.
07:57They said to Him, Then why did Moses command that a writ of dismissal should be given in case of divorce?
08:06It was because you were so unteachable, he said,
08:11that Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but it was not like this from the beginning.
08:17Now I say this to you, the man who divorced his wife,
08:23I am not speaking of fornication, and Mary's another is guilty of adultery.
08:32The disciples said to him, If that is how things are between husband and wife,
08:38it is not advisable to marry.
08:40But he replied, It is not everyone who can accept what I have said,
08:45but only those to whom it is granted.
08:49There are innards born that wait from their mother's womb,
08:55there are innards made so by men,
08:58and there are innards whom have made themselves that wait for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.
09:05Let anyone accept this who can.
09:12The Gospel of the Lord
09:19The Gospel of the Lord
09:45Blessed are you Lord God of all creation
09:48for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you,
09:51fruit of the earth and work of human hands.
09:53It will become for us the bread of life.
10:18Blessed are you Lord God of all creation for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you,
10:30fruit of the wine and work of human hands.
10:33It will become our spiritual drink.
10:35Blessed are you Lord God of all creation for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you,
10:42fruit of the wine and work of human hands.
10:47With humble spirit and contrite heart may we be accepted by you, O Lord,
10:51and may your sacrifice in your sight this day be pleasing to you, Lord God.
10:56Bless me O Lord from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sins.
11:06Pray, brothers and sisters, my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father.
11:12May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name,
11:17for our good and the good of all his holy church.
11:21Let us pray.
11:23Be pleased, O Lord, to accept the offerings of your church,
11:26for in your mercy you have given them to be offered,
11:30and by your power you transformed them into the mystery of our salvation.
11:35Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
11:38The Lord be with you and with your spirit.
11:41Lift up your hearts, we lift them up to the Lord.
11:45Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
11:48It is right and just.
11:51It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
11:55always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father Most Holy,
11:59through your beloved Son Jesus Christ,
12:01your Word through whom you made all things,
12:04whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer,
12:07incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
12:11Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people,
12:14he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion
12:18so as to break the bones of death and manifest the resurrection.
12:23And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory,
12:27as with one voice we acclaim.
12:30Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts,
12:33heaven and earth are full of your glory.
12:36Hosanna in the highest.
12:38Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
12:41Hosanna in the highest.
12:48You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
12:51Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
12:53by sending down your Spirit upon them like the leopold,
12:56so that they may become for us
12:58the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
13:07At the time he was betrayed and endured willingly into his passion,
13:11he took bread, giving thanks,
13:14broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
13:17Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
13:20for this is my Body which will be given up for you.
13:34In a similar way, when supper was ended,
13:36he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
13:39gave it to his disciples, saying,
13:41Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
13:44for this is the chalice of my Blood.
13:46The Blood of the new and eternal covenant,
13:49which will be poured out for you and for many
13:52for the forgiveness of sins.
13:54Do this in memory of me.
14:05In the mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup,
14:09we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.
14:13Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
14:16we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
14:20giving thanks that you have held us worthy
14:23to be in your presence and minister to you.
14:26Humbly we pray that, by taking of the Body and Blood of Christ,
14:29we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
14:33Remember, Lord, your Church.
14:35Spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
14:38together with Francis our Pope, Charles our Bishop, and all the clergy.
14:42Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep
14:45in the womb of the Resurrection,
14:47and all who have died in your mercy.
14:49Welcome them into the light of your face.
14:52Have mercy on us all, we pray,
14:54that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
14:57Blessed Joseph, your Spouse,
14:58with the Blessed Apostles and all the Saints
15:02who have pleased you throughout the ages,
15:04we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life
15:07and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
15:18Through him, and with him, and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
15:22divinity of the Holy Spirit,
15:23all glory and honour is yours forever and ever.
15:28At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching,
15:31we dare to say,
15:32Our Father, who art in heaven,
15:34hallowed be thy name.
15:36Thy kingdom come,
15:37thy will be done,
15:38on earth as it is in heaven.
15:40Give us this day our daily bread,
15:42and forgive us our trespasses,
15:44as we forgive those who trespass against us.
15:47And lead us not into temptation,
15:49but deliver us from evil.
15:51Amen.
15:58Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
16:01Graciously grant peace in our days,
16:03that by the help of your mercy
16:05we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
16:09as we await the blessed hope
16:11and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
16:20Lord Jesus Christ,
16:21who said to your Apostles,
16:22Peace I leave you,
16:23my peace I give you,
16:25depend not on our sins,
16:27but on the faith of your Church,
16:29and graciously grant her peace and unity,
16:32in accordance with your will,
16:33who live and reign forever and ever.
16:38The Lord be with you always,
16:40and with your spirit.
16:42Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
16:55May the mingling of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ
16:58bring eternal life to us all who see it.

17:19I am not worthy,
17:20by the name of the Father,
17:21and of the Son,
17:22and of the Holy Spirit,
17:23through your death,
17:24your life,
17:25your word,
17:26your will,
17:27by which you are most holy.
