00:02:00we have the Nasty Boys in tag team action.

00:02:04Also, we have the American Males in Harlem Heat.

00:02:07They'll be for the WCW World Tag Team title.

00:02:11And then the Giant against the Macho Man Randy Savage,

00:02:14Ric Flair and Arn Anderson in tag team action

00:02:18against Sting and Lex Luger.

00:02:20That is all in the second hour here, Larry.

00:02:22You know, I don't think Hacksaw deserves

00:02:24another match with Wall Street.

00:02:26You saw the footage right there.

00:02:28Hacksaw tied up the referee,

00:02:29but what did he tie the referee up with?

00:02:31A foreign object he pulled out of his tights, Tony.

00:02:36That's not fair.

00:02:37Well, that was not fair as a matter of fact.

00:02:39It'd take this match, it would have been,

00:02:41but he only fooled himself.

00:02:44But Duggan is ready to rebound here against VK Wall Street,

00:02:47and I'm sure that Wall Street has other things in mind.

00:02:50Nick Patrick is the referee assigned.

00:02:52The man who's been the center of much controversy

00:02:54over the past couple of weeks

00:02:56in World Championship Wrestling,

00:02:58as much as the members of the New World Order have been.

00:03:04Let me interject a word.

00:03:05Nick Patrick, I think, is a victim of the paranoia

00:03:08that has spread through World Championship Wrestling.

00:03:11A lot of distrust, guys not knowing who to trust.

00:03:15We'll get into that more later,

00:03:17but I think Nick Patrick so far a victim of circumstance.

00:03:19Maybe so, but there is no question that

00:03:21as you take a look at the order that we have tonight,

00:03:24and Wall Street, like we said, has other plans,

00:03:26he immediately goes to the low ground,

00:03:28and Duggan returns fire on Wall Street.

00:03:30Yeah, goes to the low ground,

00:03:32but attacks Duggan in the upper body,

00:03:33and that's a mistake, that's a strong point.

00:03:36Nothing from the neck up and not much from the waist down,

00:03:38but that torso, those arms, and those fists,

00:03:41those are illegal weapons.

00:03:43There is no question about that.

00:03:45And now, Wall Street will send Duggan,

00:03:46no, Duggan returns fire as he misses,

00:03:48and now, over the wrist, not missed a clothesline.

00:03:51Duggan again!

00:03:54I saw Jim Duggan with those lethal clotheslines of his,

00:03:57but the key is how he explodes, uses his whole body

00:04:00with the effect of that clothesline,

00:04:02and there's an atomic drop on the outside

00:04:04as VK Wall Street, Larry,

00:04:06we've been talking much about the attempted,

00:04:08and really, really unraveling

00:04:10of World Championship Wrestling

00:04:11by the members of the New World Order

00:04:14over the past couple of months.

00:04:15You know, last week, we've seen them come out of the stands,

00:04:18we've seen them with their cowardly attacks.

00:04:21This week, though, WCW at full strength,

00:04:23Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson,

00:04:27the entire four horsemen are here.

00:04:29The Macho Man is back after he was hit

00:04:31on the back of the head a week ago in Casper, Wyoming,

00:04:34and suffered stitches in the head.

00:04:35The Giant is here.

00:04:37WCW tonight is at full strength here live,

00:04:40and I think it's unlikely that those cowards

00:04:43will even show up here tonight.

00:04:44Well, I'll agree with you in terms that WCW

00:04:46is at full strength in terms of bodies,

00:04:49but are we at full strength in terms of mental capacities?

00:04:52Are all the people you mentioned, are they trustworthy?

00:04:56Are they trusting each other?

00:04:57Are they watching each other's back,

00:04:59or are they worried about their own back?

00:05:01Well, I think you gotta worry about your own back,

00:05:03because that has always been the premise of this sport.

00:05:05Here's a lateral press hooking a far leg

00:05:07and getting a two count.

00:05:08However, there is one man in particular

00:05:10we're gonna be talking about in the next segment,

00:05:12and that is the Giant.

00:05:13I think more than ever, the Giant

00:05:16has not only revenge on his mind,

00:05:18but has a purpose on his mind.

00:05:20Ladies and gentlemen, he's in action later on

00:05:22against the Macho Man, Randy Savage,

00:05:25in a singles matchup that you will not wanna miss.

00:05:28And look it right there,

00:05:30Wall Street putting some extra pressure on Duggan.

00:05:31He's got the right idea.

00:05:32Take the big man down on the mat,

00:05:34slow him down, but get behind him.

00:05:36Stay away from those arms and those fists,

00:05:38the weapons that he likes to use.

00:05:40Wall Street could easily,

00:05:42the three-year-old could easily outsmart Hacksaw,

00:05:45but that's the way to approach the man.

00:05:46Take him down, get him from behind.

00:05:48I have to disagree with you.

00:05:50I think really that Hacksaw's,

00:05:52Jim Duggan's mental capacity

00:05:53and his ability to think out a strategy in a match

00:05:55is really underplayed.

00:05:57Underplayed?

00:05:58Yes, I really think that people really realize

00:06:01that Duggan, although he's big and he's brawling,

00:06:03is a very, very intelligent wrestler.

00:06:06What are you, Ribbon?

00:06:06No, I'm not Ribbon.

00:06:08Look at him.

00:06:09You can't be a champion.

00:06:10You can't be this successful and be a lame brain, Larry,

00:06:12for crying out loud.

00:06:13He's not a lame brain.

00:06:14There just isn't much there.

00:06:15I mean, right now, he's, again,

00:06:16he depends strictly on power,

00:06:20and that's what happens

00:06:21when you depend strictly on power.

00:06:23Hacksaw cannot use that game of chess.

00:06:26He is not a player.

00:06:27Here's a cover again,

00:06:28a two-count that time,

00:06:29and a reverse chin lock applied by VK Wall Street.

00:06:32No denying that as far as mat wrestling ability is concerned,

00:06:36VK Wall Street has the upper hand.

00:06:38But remember, Duggan,

00:06:39the former United States heavyweight champion,

00:06:42has had a tremendous track record in this sport,

00:06:44and he is never out until the very last bell.

00:06:48And Nick Patrick is checking in right now,

00:06:49and Wall Street is okay.

00:06:51And so far for Nick Patrick,

00:06:52as we have seen most of the time with this young man,

00:06:56he has caught him right down the middle.

00:06:58And he is out.

00:06:59It is hard wearing the Hacksaw down.

00:07:01He is big, he is strong.

00:07:03You have to approach the man with patience.

00:07:06If you don't have patience against Hacksaw,

00:07:09you're gonna run into him.

00:07:10Man, he just ran into Wall Street.

00:07:11Yes, or he will run into you,

00:07:12and that's exactly what he did,

00:07:14a kind of a desperation move,

00:07:15but it worked, and now both men are down.

00:07:18As we said, Harlem Heat,

00:07:20the American males will vie

00:07:22for the WCW Tag Team Championship.

00:07:25That will be tonight on this television program live.

00:07:29And it was right here on our third Nitro,

00:07:33not too long ago,

00:07:34back in the month of September of 95,

00:07:36where the American males shocked the world,

00:07:39defeated Harlem Heat to become the Tag Team Champs.

00:07:41Can they do it again?

00:07:43And right now in the midst of a Hacksaw comeback here.

00:07:46He's walking into him.

00:07:47That's what he's gotta stay away from.

00:07:49Those hands are like bowling balls.

00:07:52They reversed it, but I don't know if he did any damage.

00:07:55Head first to the turnbuckle.

00:07:56It always does damage, it seems.

00:07:58It's a big man to pick up around 300 pounds.

00:08:00Hacksaw Jim Duggan weighing in tonight at 298.

00:08:47And it is a tool that he uses to win.

00:08:51He wins here in the opening bout on Nitro.

00:08:55Ladies and gentlemen, your winner is Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

00:09:01right now, Duggan has been very vocal about his opinions

00:09:04about Hulk Hogan, a former very close friend,

00:09:07and of course, the New World Order.

00:09:09Gene is in the ring.

00:09:11With that, we go to Gene Okerlund.

00:09:15We've got a great crowd, they're red hot tonight

00:09:17and they love this victory here, Hacksaw.

00:09:22We've got some things we touched on a couple of weeks ago

00:09:25and I wanna go back to your thinking about this,

00:09:28this new group that's arrived on the scene,

00:09:31the New World Order, and a man that we know very well.

00:09:35He now calls himself Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

00:09:38Wait a minute, Gene.

00:09:40Everybody in the WCW has been coming down here

00:09:42screaming what they're gonna do to Hulk Hogan.

00:09:46Well, not Jim Duggan.

00:09:47Because Terry, I wanna talk to you as a man.

00:09:51What have you done, not only to your fans,

00:09:55not only to your friends, but your family?

00:09:58You turned your back on everything you believed in.

00:10:02Makes me wonder what kind of man that you are.

00:10:07I know one thing about him.

00:10:10Go ahead, don't let these-

00:10:14Well, you've gotta stay focused.

00:10:45The Macho Man, Randy Savage, later tonight, of course,

00:10:47is gonna be locking up with the Giant.

00:10:50But Randy, a couple of things.

00:10:52First of all, let's go back one week ago tonight

00:10:55in Casper, Wyoming.

00:10:56As you know, you were slated to go against,

00:11:00well, the United States champion,

00:11:02that ain't your boy, Ric Flair.

00:11:03I want you to take a look at what happened on Nitro.

00:11:05This was the most shocking thing.

00:11:07As a matter of fact, there were some very anxious moments

00:11:10for myself and nearly 8,000 or 10,000 people

00:11:13on hand in Casper.

00:11:14Describe for us what's happening here.

00:11:16Hulk Hogan.

00:11:17Hulk Hogan.

00:11:18Oh, my God.

00:11:20Hulk Hogan is my wake-up call,

00:11:24because from now on, I am gonna make things happen.

00:11:28I am not laying back even a little bit.

00:11:32I'm gonna let it flow all the way,

00:11:35and that's real bad news for you.

00:11:38Okay, tonight's priority, very quickly, the Giant.

00:11:42The Giant made a deal with the Macho Man, Randy Savage.

00:11:46He said if I stepped aside,

00:11:48that he would make everything okay.

00:11:50Well, let me tell you something.

00:11:52Things are not okay.

00:11:54The WC World Heavyweight Championship belt

00:11:57has been spray-painted NWO,

00:11:59and I've got 15,000 stitches in my head,

00:12:03so I got a problem with Hulk Hogan,

00:12:06but right now, tonight, I got a problem with the Giant,

00:12:09and I'm gonna solve that problem, oh, yeah.

00:12:30As we come to you live each and every Monday,

00:12:32Tony Schiavone, living legend Larry Zubisco back with you.

00:12:35You know, I wanna take you back now and thought here

00:12:38to what happened a little bit over a week ago

00:12:40in Sturgis, South Dakota.

00:12:42Hulk Hogan hits the Giant in the head with that title belt,

00:12:45becomes a WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

00:12:48As the Macho Man said earlier,

00:12:49spray-painted the belt with the NWO logo

00:12:52or the initials on it, and of course,

00:12:54Hulk Hogan and the New World Order

00:12:56have really had a good time,

00:12:57at least they think, since then.

00:12:59But at that time, I think, really, Larry,

00:13:01they have awoken a sleeping Giant

00:13:03because it wasn't too long after that.

00:13:05Last Thursday on the Clash of the Champions,

00:13:08the Giant to face Chris Benoit.

00:13:10We saw the Giant at his absolute best.

00:13:13A man at 450 pounds, a man who can throw a dropkick,

00:13:18my goodness, just like that.

00:13:20The agility of this gigantic athlete,

00:13:22and then no one can escape the Chokeslam, Larry.

00:13:25Look at the elevation he got there.

00:13:28Like you said, this guy is a physical marvel.

00:13:31Dropkick Benoit, picked him up like a piece of paper,

00:13:34and you see the result.

00:13:35And of course, we know about Chris Benoit,

00:13:37a man that fears no man.

00:13:39A man, a member of the Horsemen,

00:13:40and a man, obviously, as you saw right there,

00:13:42still having these problems with Woman.

00:13:44Tied him up with that jacket.

00:13:46Obviously, Chris Benoit and Woman

00:13:48are still having their problems.

00:13:49But the main fact is this,

00:13:51Hulk Hogan is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

00:13:54He says NWO, but there is a man that we will see tonight.

00:13:58Over 7'4", at 450 pounds, he is the Giant.

00:14:02He is truly the single most dangerous man in our sport.

00:14:04Yeah, and I think one important thing

00:14:06is that the athletes in WCW better let the Giant know

00:14:10that they trust him more important than the Giant

00:14:12worrying about who to trust himself.

00:14:14Absolutely, we go to the ring today,

00:14:16but pinned for the next bout on Nitro.

00:14:18The heavyweight contest on WCW Monday Nitro

00:14:22is set for one fall.

00:14:23Introducing first, representing the Blue Bloods,

00:14:27from Stoke-on-Trent, England, Earl Robert Eaton.

00:14:36We have our next match here on Nitro,

00:14:38and we begin with a member of the Blue Bloods,

00:14:40Earl Robert Eaton, who's coming out of here by himself.

00:14:43And that brings up a point

00:14:44that we've kind of been discussing on here, Larry.

00:14:46There seems to be some problems

00:14:48with members of the Blue Bloods.

00:14:50Earl Robert Eaton, Lord Steven Regal,

00:14:52and Squire David Taylor.

00:14:53As a matter of fact, this past weekend

00:14:55on WCW Saturday night, Lord Steven Regal

00:14:58said he was going to break the mold.

00:15:00He was going to chase some singles belts.

00:15:02He called himself the enemy within,

00:15:04that people have to worry about him

00:15:07and not worry so much about the NWO.

00:15:09That's his line of thinking, but still,

00:15:11that's shed some light on what's going on

00:15:13with the Blue Bloods.

00:15:14Yeah, Blue Bloods definitely some friction,

00:15:16but I think Lord Regal, I hate to say this

00:15:18because I have no love for the man,

00:15:19but I think he's right.

00:15:20He is a great, mad technician.

00:15:22Maybe the group he put together

00:15:25isn't to his satisfactory expectations.

00:15:28I think Lord Regal is a great singles wrestler,

00:15:31and obviously so does he.

00:15:33Chris Benoit making his way out of here

00:15:35with the lovely ladies,

00:15:36the gorgeous Miss Elizabeth

00:15:37and the gorgeous woman at his side.

00:15:40Of course, always accompanying members

00:15:42of the Four Horsemen.

00:15:43Chris Benoit, very businesslike.

00:15:45He realizes what happened at the Clash of the Champions.

00:15:48He takes his leather vest off,

00:15:52and he is nothing but business.

00:15:54It seemed to me as woman was trying to say something

00:15:57to Chris Benoit as he was getting in the ring,

00:15:59and he ties it up with Earl Robert Eaton here at Nitro.

00:16:04Well, see, that's how it should be.

00:16:05You know, football teams and that,

00:16:07they have the pom-pom girls, they dance around,

00:16:09but they don't get to play the field.

00:16:11I mean, here, bring Miss Elizabeth out,

00:16:13give her a coat, have her stand back,

00:16:15give her some pom-poms, like cheerleaders.

00:16:18Yeah, no, well, I think it's been very obvious

00:16:21that a woman and Miss Elizabeth

00:16:23have been a lot more than just cheerleaders,

00:16:26if you will, in this sport.

00:16:27They have been very big factors

00:16:29in Ric Flair and the success

00:16:31the United States champion has had.

00:16:32And Earl Robert Eaton reverses.

00:16:34Time dragged down to Benoit.

00:16:36There's a leg sweep and a lateral press

00:16:37and a one count for Chris Benoit.

00:16:39And there's one by Bobby, one,

00:16:41oh, I'm sorry, Earl Robert.

00:16:42Get the Earl.

00:16:43Outside he goes, watch out now.

00:16:46Yeah, nice combination of moves

00:16:47and as good as the Earl of Eaton is,

00:16:49having a hard time keeping up with Benoit.

00:16:52He hit the pole!

00:16:53Oh my goodness, side of the head,

00:16:54right of the ring post,

00:16:56and then the flat of the foot

00:16:57right on the top of the head.

00:16:58The other members of the Horsemen are here,

00:17:00as we said, ladies and gentlemen,

00:17:02in the second hour.

00:17:04What a big tag team main event we're gonna have.

00:17:06Sting, Lex Luger together,

00:17:08the former champs against Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.

00:17:11Remember, remember when Ric Flair

00:17:14was attacked by the Outsiders

00:17:16at the Clash of the Champions Thursday,

00:17:18Sting and Luger came out in a show of solidarity

00:17:21for WCW, but still the battles are within.

00:17:24They will compete tonight in tag team action.

00:17:27Yeah, and the competitors are within too.

00:17:29Check out the eyes of Benoit.

00:17:31Talk about a focused, tenacious, no-nonsense, aggressive.

00:17:35I mean, this guy's got it all,

00:17:37and he can get his balance back in the wink of an eye.

00:17:40Just exploded over the Earl of Eaton,

00:17:42and one for the Gipper.

00:17:44How about that?

00:17:45Football season almost upon us,

00:17:46and the woman can punt,

00:17:48and she punted the midsection of Earl Robert

00:17:50right off of the mats,

00:17:51right down the entryway there.

00:17:52Ladies and gentlemen, it always seems to me, Larry,

00:17:55that during this time of year,

00:17:57the aggression of WCW athletes picks up,

00:17:59and that's because we are heading

00:18:01into the month of September.

00:18:03We are heading into fall,

00:18:04and that means fall brawl.

00:18:05That means the most dangerous match

00:18:07in the history of our sport,

00:18:08War Games, the Match Beyond.

00:18:11We are still not sure what will happen,

00:18:13what teams will vie for the crown

00:18:16at War Games, the Match Beyond,

00:18:17or Survival of, I should say,

00:18:19but I know that putting down the athletes,

00:18:21here's a cover here, one, two.

00:18:24All right, an all-time high aggressiveness,

00:18:26that is, for many reasons,

00:18:27not only War Games, but the cause

00:18:29of the attacks by the NWO.

00:18:32The New World odor definitely even enhanced

00:18:34the adrenaline that flows through the War Games.

00:18:37I've been in one, Tony,

00:18:38and there's not an individual,

00:18:40I don't care if they're a Sheik or whatever,

00:18:42has enough money to get me in another one.

00:18:45The most physical, dangerous event there is in wrestling.

00:18:49Well, you know, let me say that War Games,

00:18:52the Match Beyond, two rings completely enclosed in a cage,

00:18:55it began back in 1986,

00:18:58and since that time, there have been more men injured

00:19:00in War Games than any one single match

00:19:02in the history of the sport.

00:19:03That's how physical, that's how dangerous it is,

00:19:07and there you see Earl Robert,

00:19:08he's just digging the fingers into the throat of Benoit.

00:19:11Yeah, well, Eaton here, he's getting down and dirty,

00:19:13and he has to, because Benoit, he can't keep up with,

00:19:15hey, he stuck his head out,

00:19:17swinging neckbreaker to Earl of Eaton, got him,

00:19:19don't count the Earl of Eaton short.

00:19:22That's right, Earl of Eaton with one of his patented moves,

00:19:25that swinging neckbreaker, and now Earl Robert Eaton

00:19:28is climbing to the top turnbuckle,

00:19:30and he drops the leg, and that time he missed.

00:19:32He saw it coming, but he couldn't stop Benoit,

00:19:35sends him crashing to the mat with a big clothesline,

00:19:38a running lariat, if you will.

00:19:39Here goes the Crippler of the Horseman, up top and down.

00:19:44My goodness, he connects it.

00:19:45Rammed his head right, smacking to the sternum,

00:19:49knocked the wind out of the Earl of Eaton,

00:19:50look at him, he's grabbing his chest, and it's over.

00:19:53It is over, Benoit wins again.

00:19:58And less than a week after feeling the effects

00:20:02of the giant, Benoit is decisively over a great competitor

00:20:07back in the win column,

00:20:08here in World Championship Wrestling.

00:20:12All right, Larry, we're gonna take a look

00:20:14at some of this in replay.

00:20:15Well, right there, Earl of Eaton,

00:20:17I mean, just didn't take into consideration

00:20:19the explosiveness of Benoit,

00:20:20who rebounded right there again.

00:20:23Benoit regains his balance quicker than anybody

00:20:25I've seen in my career, and right there,

00:20:28connected with the head, right in the sternum,

00:20:30and that will knock you out, believe me,

00:20:32over for the Earl of Eaton.

00:20:34The superstars are here in full force,

00:20:36including Diamond Dallas, plus Lord Steven Regal is here,

00:20:40the American males, Harlem Heat, and much more,

00:20:42as we'll be back with more Nitro Live on TNT.

00:21:41Scott Steiner was in the ring

00:21:43with Booker T of Harlem Heat,

00:21:46when once again, the Outsiders attack.

00:21:49Now, it was a real competitive match.

00:21:51Remember, in a Triangle Match,

00:21:53regardless of who gets the pin,

00:21:55you can win the World Tag Team title.

00:21:57The Frankensteiner was on.

00:21:58The cover was there.

00:21:59The two, almost a three.

00:22:01Nick Patrick sees the Outsiders,

00:22:03and he throws the match out.

00:22:05And Gene Oakren had a chance to ask him why afterwards.

00:22:09What makes a referee great

00:22:12is to be able to see two different things

00:22:15happening at one time.

00:22:17And I've just proved to you in the entire wrestling world

00:22:20that I have that ability.

00:22:22I was in the ring.

00:22:22That's an unfortunate break for the Steiner brothers now.

00:22:25Don't get me wrong.

00:22:26But I had to watch all the action.

00:22:28I don't want to have to get hauled down

00:22:29to the WCW offices again for this.

00:22:34I followed the book to the tee.

00:22:38And he apparently did.

00:22:39Later on, it was Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair,

00:22:42World Heavyweight Title.

00:22:45We all thought we heard Hulk Hogan say, I give up.

00:22:48Now right here, he is going to turn the figure four

00:22:51away from Ric Flair.

00:22:52Flair turns it back the other way.

00:22:54Did he give up or not?

00:22:57Right there, we both, me and Bobby,

00:22:59he had thought he said, I give up.

00:23:00But he pulls the referee down at the same time.

00:23:03Then the Outsiders hit the ring as predicted.

00:23:42do you think we've faced the Horsemen

00:23:43in some kind of match between the two of us?

00:23:47This time around, we're going about it

00:23:49at a totally different wavelength.

00:23:52Because we've been at it in their face many, many times.

00:23:55But tonight, we've got a plan.

00:34:16And it appeared to me that it was on purpose.

00:34:19Lord Steven Regal has made his way out.

00:34:21We talked earlier about the apparent problems

00:34:23with members of the Blue Bloods.

00:34:24There's no question in Lord Steven Regal's mind,

00:34:26he is out for singles titles.

00:34:28He is his own man.

00:34:29He wants to be known as a champion,

00:34:32and he's gonna try to make his efforts here known

00:34:34against the former Cruiserweight champion of the world,

00:34:37Dean Malenko.

00:34:38Well, the problem with the Blue Bloods

00:34:40is probably the pompous attitude of Lord Regal,

00:34:43which is great if you're in there being a singles wrestler,

00:34:46which this guy is.

00:34:47I think he is coming back to his own reality,

00:34:50realizing what he can do by himself

00:34:53and giving it his best shot.

00:34:55It's gonna be an interesting matchup.

00:34:56Both these guys, great match technicians.

00:34:59Lord Regal, of course, Dean Malenko,

00:35:01man of a thousand holes.

00:35:02It's gonna be a great test of catch as catch can.

00:35:06No question about that.

00:35:47That was a drop toe hold, come along with the arm,

00:35:50combination wrestling by Malenko.

00:35:53Regal's a bigger man.

00:35:59Make sure he doesn't get underneath Regal.

00:36:02and that's not good for Malenko.

00:37:45He'll fight, you know, for his life in there,

00:37:47and that's what he's doing.

00:37:52He's a pompous guy, but he's a vicious, nasty man.

00:37:55He knows how to hurt you.

00:37:56Right there, he's got Malenko in trouble,

00:37:58but look it, he doesn't rush into it.

00:37:59He doesn't rush into too many mistakes.

00:38:02Regal is a formidable foe for the man of a thousand holes.

00:38:06No question, it's a very, very stern European forearm.

00:38:15Of course it didn't.

00:38:16And I'm not saying his counts have been fast.

00:38:18I'm pointing to one at Hogwild and Sturges.

00:38:24because I think you're sounding paranoid

00:38:27like the rest of the athletes are here.

00:38:29Larry, I've seen enough one, two, three counts

00:38:31in my career to know a fast one when I see it,

00:38:34and I've never seen one from Nick Patrick.

00:45:27You know, this summer has been a very tumultuous one

00:45:30here in WCW.

00:45:31Of course, WCW defending itself against a lawsuit.

00:45:38The WCW, of course, initiated a lawsuit against WCW.

00:45:42We're defending ourselves against that.

00:45:44The competition is incredible.

00:45:46Of course, the outsiders, Hulk Hogan,

00:45:48putting pressure on everybody here in WCW,

00:45:51coming in from the stands,

00:45:53coming out from behind production trucks, attacking people.

00:45:57This has been a very intense period of time for WCW.

00:46:00But let me assure everybody watching,

00:46:02WCW is not going anywhere.

00:46:05We are not going to change the way we do business.

00:46:08This organization has been around a long time

00:46:11and it's been around because of the athletes

00:46:13that make up WCW and not the outsiders.

00:46:16No one is going to change things here in WCW.

00:46:24but it's not going to happen.

00:46:25This company will stick together.

00:49:15because I guess Sherry got her feathers ruffled a little bit

00:49:18and he doesn't like anybody to touch his woman,

00:49:22or even look at his woman.

00:49:23Somebody's going to pay for this.

00:49:25You know, one of the things I heard Tony Schiavone

00:49:26talking about early on in the first hour was the fact,

01:30:55because that's a Giant like I've never seen a Giant before.

01:31:01if the Giant caught Savage, he's gonna eat him
