00:00I think before we get into all the games tonight, I usually like to give these to you once a
00:14week just to see where we're at.
00:17Odds to win the American League here as we have hit the month of July.
00:21Halfway done.
00:22Everybody's played about their 80, 81st game at this point.
00:25The Yankees still two to one.
00:28The Yankees are two to one to win the AL, Orioles plus 375, Guardians and Mariners at
00:35seven to one, Astros twins ten to one, Royals are at 16, everyone else is 30 to one or longer.
00:43The 30% of the money, Scotty, is on the Orioles the most to win the American League.
00:48And it should be.
00:52They're really the toughest team and loaded.
00:56And then the long shot of the Astros at ten to one, they're turning a corner.
01:02They're playing great.
01:04They're over 500 and rolling, winning every night.
01:08Watch out.
01:10You know, they always find a way, don't they?
01:13And then where are the champs?
01:16Nowhere to be seen.
01:18One and done for the Texas Rangers.
01:21There's no way.
01:22Look, they're not even on the list.
01:25I mean, do they have any odds at all?
01:27They've been terrible.
01:28Arizona's been terrible.
01:30I got to tell you, the Yankees aren't that good.
01:34They aren't.
01:35You know it.
01:36I know it.
01:37They got judge and Soto and Soto's health is key.
01:41And you don't know, like, Gale looks like he's falling apart.
01:46And all that great pitching they had, they've fallen back down to earth hard over the last
01:52three weeks.
01:53So, at some level, I think the Orioles are going to, you know, rock them and run away
01:59from them.
02:00And, you know, the Yankees will be, you know, to me, at the end of the day, they're going
02:06to be playing for a wild card.
02:09I don't disagree with you at all.
02:10You know that I've said it all year.
02:11I think the funny thing to me is Cleveland's right now got the best record in the American
02:15League.
02:16It's percentage points, but they have the best record in their seven to one.
02:19And they've been one of the best teams through the first three months of the season.
02:24I would be careful with Cleveland.
02:26They're a very good baseball team.
02:27They would beat the Yankees in a series.
02:30I think in a five gamer, they would.
02:34They could absolutely beat the Yankees.
02:36Maybe in seven.
02:37They would might be.
02:38Look, five or seven.
02:39I think they could beat the Yankees.
02:41Yankees could lose to anyone.
02:42Let's just put that right out there.
02:44Yankees could lose to anyone.
02:45And they usually do.
02:46And they usually do lose to anyone.
02:48They usually do.
02:49Yes.
02:50Unless it's the twins.
02:51That's right.
02:52The only team they beat is the twins.
02:53I was going to say the same thing.
02:54I was going to say the same thing.
02:55Literally, I was thinking just like you, except Minnesota.
03:01The Dodgers, of course, are still the favorites on the NL side.
03:05They're plus 160.
03:06The Phillies are 240.
03:07The Braves are 450.
03:09Brewers 10 to one, Padres 17.
03:12All other teams 30 to one or longer, 20% of the money is on the Dodgers.
03:17That is the most.
03:18Imagine that.
03:19It's New York and L.A. that are favored in both leagues, right?
03:22New York and L.A.
03:23They don't matter.
03:24Yeah.
03:25I mean, those cities don't matter at all.
03:28I mean, neither one of them have a shot at anything.
03:31I mean, it's just, now Otani is everyone's flavor.
03:35That's what everyone wants.
03:36They want to see Otani.
03:38And the Dodgers are loaded.
03:39And remember, they're doing it right now without bets.
03:44And this is not, no Kershaw.
03:47This is not the Dodgers you think they are.
03:49They really aren't.
03:50They got to actually work to get this done.
03:55A bunch of young arms, right?
03:57And I won't deny if Betts is in that lineup, they're unstoppable with Freeman, Betts, Otani.
04:05It goes on and on.
04:07And it doesn't stop with those three.
04:08Believe me, you.
04:10They're tough.
04:11So at some level, they're going to be in the postseason.
04:13But I told you, when they played the Giants, we went through this, remember over the weekend,
04:19we told you that the Giants always seem to F with them.
04:22That's their rival.
04:24It's not the Padres, it's the Giants.
04:26And it always has been.
04:28And the Giants were able to beat them a couple times.
04:31I know they lost that game 14-7, but they won the other two.
