00:40The news release reads in quote thus, In Abuja, NDLEA operatives on Friday night disrupted
00:45a drug party called Go Hard or Go Home.
00:47Pick Your Poison, where 60 suspects comprising 25 males and 35 females were arrested at an
00:52apartment in Some City Estates in the Federal Capital Territory.

01:02At least six of the suspects, Victoria Aduga, Hamza Iyari, Joanne A. St. Joy, Sokima Valentine,
01:08Yango Imole, and Charles Inoue Bissi, were arrested with different quantities of ecstasy
01:12and cannabis.
01:13The chairman, chief executive of NDLEA, Brigadier General Mohanan Bubamawa, retired, as directed
01:19that 20 of the suspects who tested negative to drug be released unconditionally, while
01:23133 others who tested positive to illicit drugs were to be released on bail and will
01:26report at the FCT command of the agency on Monday to begin treatment and counseling.
01:31In another operations, Femi Babafemi said, Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement
01:35Agency, NDLEA, have intercepted 6,125 cartons of choline syrup containing 1,050,000 bottles
01:43of the opioid worth over 7,350,000,000 Naira in street value at the Port Harcourt Ports
01:48Complex on a reverse date.
01:50The seizure then from 6 containers on Saturday 29 June 2024 was the third of such in the
01:55past 4 weeks following credible intelligence and diligent tracking of the consignments
01:58from the port of departure by a special operations unit of NDLEA, which worked in partnership
02:02with the Port Harcourt Ports Command of the agency and other security agencies including
02:06the Customs Service for a 100% joint examination of the targeted containers.
02:10At the end of the joint examination of the 6 containers, a total of 6,125 cartons containing
02:161,050,000 bottles of choline syrup weighing 157,500 kilograms were recovered on Saturday.

02:37The suspects, Aikamang Daniel, Elias Oladoko Olanrewaju, and Aigoro Wahi Kamabolaji were
02:42thereafter taken into observatory custody.
02:44While Daniel excreted a total of 90 raps of cocaine weighing 1.022 kilograms in 6 excretions,
02:49Aigoro discharged 60 raps of the same class a substance with a total weight of 662 grams
02:54in 5 ingestions.
02:56Further investigation revealed that Aikamang Daniel actually stole the identity of his
02:59late uncle who was once based in Germany, a decision he claimed he took to get Schengen

03:41kilograms of cannabis on 7.452888 hectares of farmland.

04:19in Kano, Dr. Motela Alimi-Otais.
04:22While commanding the officers and men of the MMIA, Port Harcourt Ports, Lagos and Edo commands
04:27for the arrests, teachers and their dexterity, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA,
04:32Brigadier General Mohamed Boubamawa, retired on drug cartels that no matter the utility
04:36or the amount of trafficking, the dedicated workforce of the agency in collaboration
04:39with other stakeholders and partners will always be steps ahead to expose them and
