00:00 One day I was going outside, found a kitten, decided to take it to the Humane Society.

00:05 The kitten got adopted and then we were like, "Okay, cool."

00:07 So we went around and we were like, "Let's just look at the animals."

00:10 We stumbled into him and I opened the cage and he kind of just went and melted into my arms,

00:15 kind of like how he is now.

00:16 We are Mason and Annie and this is BunBow's story for GeoBeats.

00:20 We do know that he was neglected a lot.

00:22 His mats were really, really bad.

00:25 It looked like he wasn't getting the proper diet that he needed.

00:27 You could feel his rib cage. We decided to help him recover and give him the best life.

00:32 He was such a curious bun.

00:37 I don't think he's ever been outside of a cage for very long with his previous owners.

00:41 We didn't really know how to take care of him, so we did a lot of research

00:46 and we found out that having a free roam bunny helps bring out their personality.

00:51 He is very much like a cat/a dog/a toddler.

01:07 He's very independent. He loves to give us kisses.

01:12 He loves to follow us around. A little bit of a troublemaker.

01:18 More than four hours without being away, we'll come back with a couple holes missing in the blankets usually.

01:24 He makes Swiss cheese in the blanket. He has his own blanket.

01:26 He doesn't do the same, so I think it's a little bit of a behavioral thing

01:30 where he's trying to, you know, get us to get his attention.

01:32 He does prefer his daddy a little bit more than his mommy.

01:40 And I get so jealous sometimes, but it's the cutest thing.

01:45 You'll crawl over to me and start licking me while she pets him.

01:49 I'm usually the one that gets the kisses and she usually gives a lot of the pets.

01:53 Anytime we get into a fight, which isn't often, but I get a little hangry.

02:02 I'll put him in her lap and everything kind of comes back to normal from there.

02:07 He's really good at just reading the room.

02:10 A lot of times, I'll just sit in the corner and he'll just read the room.

02:13 A lot of times, like if he's not in the mood so much for cuddling,

02:16 he'll cuddle you for like two or three minutes and he'll get up and walk away.

02:20 Whereas if he's in the mood for cuddling, you know, he might lay with you for like an hour plus.

02:24 He loves strangers. I don't know why, but anytime a new person comes in or someone he's not familiar with,

02:33 he'll run over to them and usually lick them for a couple minutes.

02:36 He's very good with other animals.

02:43 Eventually, the goal is to get him a companion because I think he would love it and we would love it too.

02:52 We just recently moved all the way from Hawaii to California and we get a little bit of a bigger space.
